“……Why didn’t you say that in the first place?” Now everything made sense. How he could use hellfire but it wasn’t on purpose. Why he was shy and awkward but could snap into an all out rage. “That makes total sense. Why is a nephalem here though? Of all places a school? That’s what I don’t get…” Oras conjures up two seats of ice for them to sit on. Lowering himself into the seat he crossed one leg over the other and sighed. “Alright. So now that I know what killed you, I can understand why your so terrified. Now the next step, is to get you from cowering when facing fear. To fighting it regardless of the circumstances… Or running from it if you have the ability. We can keep doing lessons later on if you still want, these are all specifically thought out to help you become better. You can’t fight if you don’t mean to fight.”
Oras closed his eyes for a moment. “This time and age, they think peace is attainable but true peace isn’t. There will always be violence, disagreements, war, monsters. Even a new evil has entered this world, being named shade from what I hear. No. You cannot live if you refuse to fight. That is a simple fact of the universe.” He opened his eyes. “I’m giving you some homework Ryse. When you have the spare time, I want you to do one of two things: Either meditate on where you want to go in life, and how far you’ll go to get there. Or study as many species and monsters as you can, so that you’ll be able to recognize and react accordingly should you encounter one.”

"I was afraid you were going to hurt him if I told you..." Ryse stated. She knew that people were picking on him, and people didn't like him very much. The last thing he needed was an angry atronach chasing him down.
She nodded as she transformed into her human form, moving to sit beside Oras in the other chair. "I still want to train with you. Just... not like today, please..." She could see bruises already starting to form on skin that wasn't covered by her shirt sleeves and pants, and she knew if anyone saw them they'd think she was beaten up. Which.... she had been, but it was during training.
The teenager nodded as she heard that he was giving her homework. She was used it since she was in school, and she was a studious person in general. Doing research was second nature to her at this point. "Okay. I'll also ask my species studies teacher any questions if I come across something I don't understand." She'd already learned quite a bit from her experiences, and as they said. Knowledge was power. Knowing what different species are capable of was only beneficial. There were no downsides to it.

Oras just listened to her as she stated her case. Oras was going to say something sarcastic like but held back. Nah she had a point, that did sound like a reasonable excuse regarding him. He gave a cough as he held his closed fist to his mouth. “Reasonable,” he muttered under his breath and cough. When she turned into her human form and said what she said, Oras had to look away for a moment. Anger was an easy emotion for him to handle as he worked with it on a daily basis, and it also made girls look less cute… When they were happy nervous or shy it made it worse for Oras however. “Yeah yeah I get it, no more ultra violence… I can promise no more stabbing or slashing damage. Also why didn’t my snow heal those bruises???” He conjured more snow and pressed it against her bruises, doing everything he could not to look her in the face.
When she agreed to his conditions he nodded. “Good. Let’s have a weeks break and meet up same place same time. I’ll take the week to think of a good method of training from now on.” If he was being honest with himself, this was kind of made up on the spot.
