welcome to Eldritch Academy
In a world of myths and mysteries, the pinnacle of the magical academies exists. Eldritch Academy offers education to all ages and species but specializes in the study and training of one's innate mystical capabilities, often called Eldritch Energies, Powers, or Unknowns, but more formally known as their Talent. However, tensions run high with the nations only holding a fragile peace as the Talents that rival the epitomes of technology change the balance of power.
With the more recent uprising of evil Shades and introduction of combat-oriented programs into Talent-focused schools, nations grow more aggressive towards one another. The demand for resources grows, and skirmishes at the border of Arka and Mistere become more frequent. Monsters run into the nations from the Wildes, terrorizing villages and cities. The need for trained or in-training Hunters and Guardians has never been more urgent.

Aspen is what people would generally consider a rather reclusive personality. She is seen as debatably emotionless, stoic and generally somewhat held back. Still, despite this, she is arrogant and noticeably entitled due to her upbringing as one of the heirs of the influential Azarov Clan, though not openly rude if she can help it. Confident in her magical talents that she had been taught to explore and perfect for most of her life, she now strives to become even better and explore her full potential to serve as a member of her Clan and follow those who have done the same before her. As such she, while seeming distant, uncaring or hard to reach, always gives 100% of what she can in a strive to become part of the elite. While determined and intelligent however, she is also rather inexperienced, having spent her days living a sheltered life, though undergoing the process of intensive education in matters of history, military history, tactics, strategy, politics and leadership to continue her family's legacy and martial traditions that trace back all the way to the Ancient War.
Aspen, as one heir to an influential military family from Arka, has been raised rather conservatively, and while she perhaps doesn't fully share or even understand the worldview she has been taught it is reflected by her general attitude and behavior towards others, especially those of lesser status, wealth or different species. Aspen is also very religious and tries to follow the rules and guidelines of her religion while maintaining a balance with the modern life and lifestyle she has been tasked to pursue by her grandfather, the head of the Azarov Clan.✥ History:
The Azarov Clan has a history that reaches back a long, long time, measured by both contemporary standards and those of the Ancient War. A family that places and has always placed extremely high importance on virtues such as honour, discipline, strength, grace, piety as well as noble blood, the Azarov clan is obsessed with military power and martial traditions and, as an organisation, is bringing up many famed generals and officers who will fight and lead their troops with the utmost of skill, precision and determination until the bitter end ... for the right price. As this, they have made it into the upper echelons of the society of Arka, regarded as one of the more significant and authoritative families of the country, not only due to their wealth, but also brute strength, both in numbers and magical talent, which has always been explored and exploited to its fullest by the family that seeks to gain more power and influence. Aspen personally spent almost half of her life in the guarded homes of her family, educated in matters important for the Azarovs and trained in the use of her talent while her siblings, parents and other relatives pursued their own careers. Though sheltered, he has seen many fights and even real combat, especially in direct competition with her siblings, some of them going to rather extreme ends to achieve strength and perfection. The second half of her life she spent as a cadet at the MT Academy to train for her future career, or at least the career that her grandfather wants her to take, and while she excelled at her studies there, as expected from young Aspen, she has recently been taken off the MT Academy by her family and sent to Mistere to live and study at Eldritch Academy for the rest of them, in the eyes of her family hopefully encouraging the growth of a well rounded, high quality education that allows the girl to gain a new perspective on life that she could use later. Also, learning more about a potential enemy can never hurt ...

✥ Baseline Appearance: Well, they're human, no fancy natural hair colours unless died, just casual brown/blue/green eyes naturally and pretty normal.✥ Culture/Origin of Species: The most basic of species yet he strongest, humans have been around for hundreds of years and play a major part in history. The outnumber every other species, and its common to see families with one human and one mythical creature as the parent. Humans cannot pinpoint their origin due to how long they have been on this land for.✥ Traits:
• Humans have a natural affinity for magic based on the basic elements, nature, electricity, fire, earth, water, air and metal. This gives them strength when using the elements and resistance against them. From these elements humans naturally have 3 resilience aspect point.
• Humans can fit in anywhere, it is easy for them to learn languages, different talents, fighting styles or cultures, this allows them to have an extra talent. ✥ Flaws:
