welcome to Eldritch Academy
In a world of myths and mysteries, the pinnacle of the magical academies exists. Eldritch Academy offers education to all ages and species but specializes in the study and training of one's innate mystical capabilities, often called Eldritch Energies, Powers, or Unknowns, but more formally known as their Talent. However, tensions run high with the nations only holding a fragile peace as the Talents that rival the epitomes of technology change the balance of power.
With the more recent uprising of evil Shades and introduction of combat-oriented programs into Talent-focused schools, nations grow more aggressive towards one another. The demand for resources grows, and skirmishes at the border of Arka and Mistere become more frequent. Monsters run into the nations from the Wildes, terrorizing villages and cities. The need for trained or in-training Hunters and Guardians has never been more urgent.

The library had always been his go to when it came to research. The one at Eldritch Academy was a very good one, with almost any type of book you could think of. Even books on the Gangs of Mistere could be found here. But for now there was only one that he was interested in. Later he might look into the gangs that had a history with The Bloods in order to get a more through understanding of their relations.
But for now he was on hour eighteen of his research binge, tucked away in a sunless corner illuminated only by artificial light, and not looking to take a break any time soon. Ozaki’s hair was even more messy than it normally was, as he kept wringing his fingers through it as he leaned his head against it. It was his day off, so this was fine. Or was it night? He didn't know. He hadn't checked the time in awhile.
He was currently reading a book about the history of The Blood gang, a gang founded by Mordred Iscariot and predominantly populated by his descendants. Some vampire lineages considered those they changed their children. Not an entirely fallacious thing to assume given that this strain of vampirism did actually act as a retrovirus that rewrote your genetic code to a certain degree.
Mordred was one of these.

Oras had been in the library looking for any information that might be tied to Inglisse’s past. She didn’t wish to tell him, and he wouldn’t pry for information… But he was still damn curious. And besides, he had a feeling there wouldn’t be any knowledge worth having regarding the truth. He felt this would be a safe way to learn more about her, or at least the events surrounding her. He had already figured out that she was the ‘idiot’ who made things worse. No he didn’t find that out looking it up in a book, the internet or talking to people. He figured that out via process of elimination and logic. Even with the vague details his summoner gave him, she made it clear she was the idiot. If she was though, she had grown a great deal. Maybe. At any rate it had yielded no fruit thus far.
Taking a drink of water that was nearly frozen as he walked across the library with some new books. Books on ancient and recent monsters. You could call it a monster encyclopedia. He also had a book on magic circuits, ley lines, runes and circles. A special, study that he was taking. Something to change the playing field for him to increase his chances of winning. And to give him an entirely new arsenal to mess with. Literally. He’d have countless new abilities and combos with this new type of talent. It was gonna be real fun. As he walked through the library he spotted the time. Huh. So it was eleven at night? Shit, he missed his hour to guard his summoner’s dorm. Sighing he kept walking. Then he noticed there was one other person in the library. Interesting…
Oras silently walked over behind the individual and looked over their shoulder. Books on gangs? Histories of gangs? He read a little bit on the page before speaking up. “Wow. In the hundreds of years I skipped, gangs have grown into more stupid, idiotic and pathetic groups haven’t they? Jeez, it’s guy’s like this who turn into more of a nuisance than a threat.”

Ozaki was usually rather keen to people approaching him, particularly from behind. Even considering his status as a vampire and Master Huntsman, Ozaki was very nearly just as used to being hunted as he was the hunter. But this was Eldritch Academy, in the library. If there was anywhere he felt safe, it was here. Plus, he had been rather focused on the book.
He had his head perched on his left hand, which momentarily rose to flick at his own ahoge. “You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.” He muttered under his breath. That was the shared trait his line held? Really?
The voice behind him startled him for a moment, and he looked back to see who it was. No one he recognized. But they had taken an interest in what he was reading. Ozaki figured it was perhaps no harm that he was interested. After all it wasn’t like the man could figure out why he was researching… Oh wait.
Ozaki’s hand moved slightly in what he hoped was discrete, trying to cover the paragraph where it noted the ahoge. Only then fully focusing his attention on the crystalline eyed adonis behind him. Ozaki internally cringed at the thought. Even if what Oras was saying was fundamentally wrong on so many levels, that cocky smirk was to die for.
“I wouldn’t say that… These guys still do plenty enough damage.” Ozaki moved one of the books to reveal a small collection of newspaper articles he had printed up from online and spread them out to be better viewed. Finding them online had been easy… But he preferred having solid copies. There were tales of robberies, kidnappings and ransoms, and even a few cases of assault or murder. Though the last two were usually in retaliation for something, rather than a random happenstance.
There was one that mildly amused him. One of their more common targets was Blood banks. He could only imagine what their reactions would be if they realized he was capable of producing hundreds of liters worth of blood a week thanks to the usage of the blood devil venom Nyx had unwittingly helped add to the veritable arsenal that was his talent.

If he hadn’t flicked his hair Oras might have skipped over that detail. But the fact that he did and muttered something to himself told him, at least on a subconscious level, that it was important. Thus, when he saw the hand shift to cover up the information he put two and two together. In fact he did one better. As a glacier atranoch from Elentros, a place outside of reality but not in surreality (or in other words, in between the two dimensions), he had the ability to slow down and observe the world around him. That was the true essence of cold. Not to imprison others, but to slow down and see the beauty in the world. In this case, he was using it to read what he was trying to hide before he finished hiding it. He often did this with meditations seeing as how his mind could run faster than the average one… What? He didn’t have an actual brain, this was his soul and spirit doing the thinking, talking, listening, reading, whatever. He began to read as the hand very slowly covered it up. Eventually he read enough to make a guess. So either his hair was just a fashion statement that just so happened to be like theirs, or he was somehow connected to them. So which was it?
When the person turned to look at Oras his thoughtful face switched with his typical smirk. When the kid mentioned how they’d done plenty of damage and started pulling out the newspapers, Oras silently slipped the book he was reading from the table and glanced at both pages. It was only for a second but he had a photographic memory in place. So he chuckled and put it back on the table as if he was only kidding and moved to the newspapers. “Alright then let’s see here.” He took the book of newspapers and walked over to a nearby pillar and leaned against it, reading it with one hand. Eventually he started laughing. “What this is it? Please, this is so petty! Thefts? Kidnappings with ransoms? You know why they’ve gotten away with all of this right? It’s because the authorities are blithering idiots. Oh my gosh.”
He closed the book and let it land beside the kid. “I’ve seen these people first hand, and they think they can keep peace alive. They lie to everyone and try to tell them that the authorities will handle everything. And sure, they do their best. But this world would be a lot safer if everyone was taught how to defend themselves wouldn’t you agree? Now if this organization started stealing something more valuable then blood from a blood bank, killed more frequently, committed terrorism, tried overthrowing the government, summoning an ancient evil, do slave trafficking, or something actually evil then they’d be close to being a true threat to society. Now then:” He sat beside the kid, laying his feet on an empty portion of the table. “Why are you reading about them? Cause either it’s a coincidence or your one of them right? But if you were part of their ‘gang’ then you’d know everything about them already, so there’s more to it than that. Care to clarify?”

“And they’re so easy to bribe too.” Ozaki grumbled in disgruntlement. They literally let some organizations get away with murder. Granted, that was also a matter of the right political connections. So it wasn’t just money. Ozaki was far from under the assumption that any authority figure would protect him. Such illusions had been dashed quite early on in his time as a vampire. When it came down to when it really mattered, all you had was yourself. He nodded a little in agreement to Oras’ question of people needing to learn to defend themselves. Though there was a caveat to that... if everyone knew how to defend themselves, then most everyone would know how to fight as well. Which would be great. But it would not mean you were safer if your opponent just happened to be better or more experienced than you. Vampire gang leaders spanning ages of hundreds of years tended to be vastly more experienced in combat. There will always be someone more powerful than you.
When it came to those... It was best to shoot them from a distance before they ever saw you. If you were lucky to see them before they saw you anyhow. “Though actually... Blood’s pretty valuable. The current market value of it is $156 bucks for a pint... and that’s when you get it at wholesale value. Never mind what the cost becomes when it goes further down the supply chain.” Ozaki was an inventory manager, and he regularly kept an eye on such things. Hence why he knew the current value of it.
Though Oras was right in pointing out the gang wasn’t doing any of that stuff. Oras was taking all this with much more bravado than Ozaki himself ever could. Though again, he was thinking Oras was being a bit too cocky in regards to these guys. Ozaki could not tell what he was at a glance, but clearly he was no human. The fact he had lived for hundreds of years was a clue there. “I don’t suppose you’d believe me if I said it was just for curiosity’s sake?” He offered with a weak smile. He already knew the answer was no. He had no idea how long Oras had been standing there.
And apparently this one idiot hair could be a dead giveaway for any relation. “Well actually... that is the reason. I’m definitely not part of the gang but... Apparently I have some sort of relation to them.” He said this in quiet undertones, not simply because they were in a library. But because the mere utterance of those words was... Ozaki would really people not know that about him. But the cat was already out of the bag with Oras anyways.

Oras gave off a slight grin but shook his head. “It’s not as simple as all that, but you’re learning. There are a variety of reasons they allow bribes. I’m curious how many you can guess or figure out.” Yes indeed. It was good that he knew not to blindly trust the enforcers, but he was worried the boy didn’t think about the ‘why’ behind their actions. Assumptions could be dangerous, especially when it came to intelligent individuals. Sometimes it was for a selfish reason. Other times it was because the enforcer was corrupt all along, and had simply infiltrated the military. Then there was also those who did evil deeds for the sake of others. And other times it was far more complicated than that, such as swallowing lies that their actions were for the greater good. He’d seen it all. He’d heard it all. He’d stopped it all. He made it a note to never murder anyone unless he knew they deserved it. It was difficult at times when the fighting got dangerous and/or chaotic. But it was a practice of his he would keep to nonetheless. He wondered if this boy would ever enter such a scenario. And what he would choose himself.
When the kid went on to talk about how blood was valuable Oras simply laughed and shook his head. “I don’t give a crap about cash kid. There are three big uses for blood. Blood transfusions, which are difficult to begin with. Vampire or other blood sucking being’s diets. And sacrificial rituals. Let’s face it, if I had to choose between diet and rituals, I’d choose the former. Thus I’m not too concerned about vampires robbing a blood bank consistently. If you were to tell me they sold it to people they knew were going to perform blood rituals, then I’d have a bit of a problem for it. Often times people who don’t know what the hell they’re doing cause more damage through blood rituals than people who do know what they’re doing. After a certain amount of time you stop judging value by how much cash you can get from it, and instead what you can do with it.”
When he heard the boy’s statement and saw his weak smile he gave a smile with a certain look in his eyes. “You’re welcome to try and play games with me. But note that I crush my opponent in any game.” When he confirmed that the reason for his reading the book was in fact that he was related to them he nodded in understanding. “No doubt some very confusing but scarring backstory there somewhere I’m sure. So you’ve confirmed my suspicion. But you’ve yet to clarify my question: ‘Why’?”

“Well… Some actually believe they’re on the right side and don’t need bribing. Some are trying to support their families. Others are trying to protect them because not accepting the bribe or go along with what they want it means they’re regarded as a liability for those people.” Ozaki knew more, but he really didn’t feel like going into a whole rant about it.
At the note of blood rituals Ozaki made a mental note to himself. Whelp. No one better tell this guy that this school literally had a blood magic class. If people were getting blood packs for their rituals there was potentially little harm in it. Though sacrificial rituals were more in line with actually killing a person, rather than just using prepackaged blood. At least that was how Ozaki understood them. He hadn’t studied much on them, just heard a little here and there. Then again, if there was a class for it he supposed this guy would probably not have a problem with that. Better they know what they were doing after all.
When Oras spoke of a game he was confused for a moment. Game? Where was this talk coming in about a game? The only guess Ozaki could beg to warrant was that this man before him was taking his evasiveness as a game to be cracked. Ozaki usually got this way whenever the topic of his past was brought up. The vampire knew it was irrational, but he was a little annoyed that the man had managed to just walk up and know that so quickly. It had taken him fifteen years to find out this truth, and he got to know it within seconds of them meeting?
And then there was the fact he just went and assumed there was some scarring story behind his turning. That was absolutely dead on. And Ozaki hated it. He didn’t want people knowing that.
That was definitely a dumb reason to be angry at the man though. This man’s keen perceptions and assumptions were cutting right to the heart of the truth every time. If he tried to contest the correct assumptions this man was making it would only lead to more questions. It would be a rabbit hole of escalating lies which would be busted at the very start. There was no point. “I told you already. I’m curious.” He genuinely wasn’t lying there. He doubted that the man would be sated with just that answer though. “Who are you anyways?" He was unable to keep a bit of an edge out of his voice as he asked this. Why was this man even butting in to begin with? Who was he to just assume he had the right to the answers to these kinds of questions?
Calm down Ozaki... You're overreacting. Of course he's curious.

Oras actually blinked when he heard the boy’s response. Then he gave a little smirk and patted his back. “Well well, looks like you have some wisdom in there after all~ It’s always a pleasure to meet someone who doesn’t toss that aside like yesterday’s newspaper. Honestly, it truly is a blessing.” He lifted his cold drink to his lips and sipped at it. He didn’t need to drink anything technically, but he could technically taste things if he wanted too. That and the cold feeling of the drink was always refreshing. He was ice after all. It also helped regenerate his energy if he had used up any of it, which was also useful. And while Oras didn’t know there was a class on blood magic, it had nothing to do with the ancient, dark and malicious form of blood magic he had referred to earlier. They really did shelter people in this day and age didn’t they? Typical…
When he told Oras that he was only curious Oras laughed. “Well OBVIOUSLY you’re curious! Otherwise you wouldn’t be reading it would you? But no, that’s not what I’m referring to. There are two sides to the truth: The surface, and the root. Sometimes it goes deeper but most of the time it’s simply that. No. I’m asking you what is driving that curiosity. ‘Normal’ people don’t just decide one day that they’re interested in researching a vampiric criminal gang who don’t do any serious, deadly or dangerous crimes, other than ‘occasional murder’. Unless you’re the odd one out. And if you are I’d much be interested in why you find the subject so ‘fascinating.’ Otherwise it’s something personal, most likely having to do with the ‘scarred backstory bit’.” When he asked who Oras was, the edge in his voice clear, Oras just smirked. “Oras. I’m a Glacier Atranoch thank you very much. By the way, how old are you exactly? Since you’re a vampire I assume.”

Well. The pat on the back was a surprising reaction. He hadn’t even done half the list of reasons someone might go along with it. But he supposed he had covered the major ones. He knew all too well how and why the governing authorities could not generally be trusted. Being called wise was a new one for him though.
The root of his curiosity? What to respond with that? The true root of that was that Mordred was having his goons follow him, and every day they followed him they were learning more and more. They were doing it to make sure he didn’t get himself killed while going after Yuuto, but such pursuit was also doubling for them getting to know progressively more about his life.
He had moved to get away from them knowing where he lived. They found his new place. He could hide with the best of them, run faster than anyone. But doing it for weeks had been neigh impossible. To truly throw them off he would have had to have disappeared entirely, severing all ties and leaving his job. And that wasn’t something he had been willing to do.
At this point he usually did not bother throwing them off his trail. He’d gotten tired of running and hiding… Ozaki knew that their intentions were not to harm him at this point. But still… He figured he’d save his best tricks for when he actually needed them.
They knew more about him than he cared for them to. The least he could do was find out more about them. And this sire… He’d wondered for years what kind of man he was. No one, unless they were outright feral and descended to lesser status, was purely a monster. And all this time he had been chasing false leads and was left with even more pressing questions.
The proper answer would be both, though he hated to acknowledge the whole scarring backstory bit in anyway whatsoever. Even the mere mention of the words made him grimace. But such an answer would at least have him avoid going into current pressing things. “A bit of both I guess… There is more to it. But I’d rather not go into it given the personal nature.”
Ozaki, amusingly enough, was actually somewhat grateful at being asked how old he was. People assuming he was a child got real old. Not that he’d allow himself to get too frustrated about that. It was understandable. And he did have ways of rectifying that issue. He just chose not to because even with that annoyance, the alternative would be worse for him… At least in his opinion. Odds were few others would see it like he did. “I’m twenty-nine, thanks for asking."
A glacier atronach? He wondered where or who Oras’ summoner was. Not that he would ask… Though he did spare a brief glance around the library. He briefly caught a glimpse one of Mordred’s children who had been assigned to tail him today. They looked in their early twenties and could easily fit in with the college crowd. The woman was a good distance away, about 30 feet away or so flipping through a book. Though Ozaki very well knew that if he moved they would know within a moment. They were a Talented tracker, at least that was what he was assuming given how even his best attempts to shake this one rarely succeeded.
Ozaki looked back at Oras, hopefully before he traced where Ozaki had been looking a moment before. Perhaps he wouldn’t bother. Though with a guy like this he wouldn’t put it past him to notice some how. Oh right. He'd forgotten to introduce himself. "My name's Yuuki Ozaki by the way, should have mentioned that I guess after you did your name." He'd just been... Distracted.

Many people practiced their observational skills. The problem was that unless they were forced to the process of training and harnessing that skill would be slower. An example being, there is a great difference between practicing being a detective and looking for clues, than being trapped in a room where you will die in a few hours unless you can find the hints you need to escape. Oras had experienced both methods of practice. However even he wasn’t all knowing, and even he could lose focus… Or in this case, be too focused. Currently he was trying to figure out as much as he could about the boy he was currently speaking with. What his deal was, what his past might have been, and what he was planning on doing. Because he was processing this while talking to Ozaki, he missed the person hiding in the bookcases. When he followed Ozaki’s gaze the person had already ducked away. Of course, while he was extremely focused there was a consistent chance he would spot them… If they didn’t leave it would only be a matter of time.
When Ozaki told him how it was a bit of both yet more too it, and how he would rather not go into it further due to it’s personal nature Oras simply smirked. “Why a nicely formed statement designed to keep nosy individuals away~ How cute~ Alright you don’t have to tell me… Yet…” He thought about this for a second. So he was genuinely curious, and it was personal, linked to his scarring past. Perhaps they killed someone he knew or cared about? Or maybe he grew up with them but hated how they did things, and committed to escaping them. Or maybe both. Honestly there were countless ways this could have gone. At any rate, he was going to have to meditate on this to see if he could figure out a more solid theory to go on.
Upon his question he saw the glimmer of gratitude in Ozaki’s eyes. Yes, it was wonderful when people didn’t assume you were a certain age based on appearance alone. Especially since many races could either shapeshift or live for hundreds or even thousands of years. It had happened to Oras once or twice too. When he mentioned how he was twenty nine Oras nodded. “Got it, so I can still call you kid. Coolio.” He said with a smirk. He wasn’t about to make the kid’s life any easier. He gestured to the book. “So what’s the plan now hmmm? What happens when you get the info you’re looking for? I doubt you’re gathering it for the sake of knowledge, especially if there’s something personal about it.”

Oras knew exactly what he was doing. Granted… Ozaki really wasn’t that hard to read. Apparently even non-emotionally attuned people had an easy time of it. He’d never been that great of a liar. Though usually he did not so much lie so much as dodge around the truth that people had no business prying into in the start. Seemed Oras was going to let that bit go. But only for now.
When Oras said he was still going to call him kid Ozaki’s expression fell slightly. As a glacier atranoch, or really as any non-human species, thirty was a rather young age in comparison to what he might be. But still. Though technically he could not complain. Though it was annoying. If he considered him a kid there was no way anything was going to happen… Damn it all dating as an inhuman was so damn difficult. Nevermind with the added difficulty of trying to figure out if someone swung that way. To be frank Ozaki hadn’t really tried fully going… That way. His list of romantic failures with women was long enough without adding the embarrassment of reading the wrong cues and guessing wrong on orientation.
Any how! Move on and get out of your teenage hormone addled brain Ozaki. Focus.
Ozaki sighed when he was asked what his plan was now. “Frankly? Don’t think there is anything I can do with this information. Not much I can do against an organization of this size… Or even against one of them. At least I won’t be completely in the dark when dealing with them though.”
He had trained to be a hunter, his skills were nothing to sneeze at. But against those who had had centuries worth of experience over him… He was still nothing but a child in comparison to people like that. Fighting against them was hopeless and would end in nothing but failure. Or worse.

Oras listened to Ozaki as he told the atranoch how there wasn’t anything he could do. How he didn’t have any information he could really use, and how there wasn’t much he could do against an organization of this size. Or against even one of them. Oras laughed at this comment and nearly fell back from his chair. Nearly. But didn’t. “So what? You’re just gonna call it quits? Wow, must not have been that scarring a backstory then if you’re just gonna give up and say it’s impossible to take them down.” He flicked the boy’s forehead. “Listen you moron, you don’t think you can do it? Then practice. Train. Learn. If your hellbent on facing them, then do what you can to reach that goal. You can’t do anything if you just sit around and deem it hopeless. Idiot.” The glacier atranoch stood up and picked the book up as well. He looked at the other pages that weren’t visible to him and chuckled. “Yeah this shouldn’t be too difficult. So kid. This is a guild of vampires right? Why do you believe you can’t do anything against this organization let alone one of them?”

Ozaki frowned when his forehead got flicked and Oras started laughing. He didn’t think much of The Bloods. Oras was sure talking about all this quite brazenly. Ozaki could not help but be worried considering the fact he had a tail from The Bloods following him now. He didn’t want them to get the wrong impression. At this point Ozaki hadn’t really been studying for a plot to get revenge or something like that. “Keep it down.” He said in a hushed, flustered whisper. But of course if they had overheard that it was too late there.
Of course his rage towards Mordred was near constant on his mind… But again what could he do?
He spoke in a hushed whisper for his next words. “Its not like… I mean… Look. There’s only one of them in there that I give a shit about, and he’s got hundreds of years of experience on me. Even if I did manage to get a sneak attack on him… Which I have before… His gang know it was me at this point, then I’d be dead.”
He’d been defenseless as a child and he was just as hopeless as ever a couple of weeks ago when he had managed to meet Mordred again and bind him in chains. The man had gotten out and completely wrecked him after that. If Ozaki had killed him while he was out that would have been that… But even in his tainted blood state he had wanted to talk to the man who had changed his life forever and fucked it up in so many ways.
If he could get the drop on Mordred again it would be possible. But also very possible the gang would find out it was him and come for him and those he loved next. The Bloods did have a terrible track recorded when it came to the death of one of their own. Usually Mordred led the charge there… But if Mordred was gone things would be considerably uglier. They’d know it was him from his first failed attempt, even if he managed to cover his tracks some how, they’d probably jump the gun and then… Well then it’d be over.

The second he told Oras to keep his voice down his eyes shot over to the corner. This time he laid eyes on the stalker, who swiftly hid themselves again. So they were accustomed to the darkness? Not even as a skill but naturally… Interesting. Oras listened to the kid talk. Stating how the only one he actually gave a crap about had hundreds of years of experience on him. And how if he did somehow manage to reach him the others would know it was him and kill him. Oras smirked. “Interesting. This sounds rather fun indeed. Give me a sec…” He had to think about this for a second… The last time he took on someone with hundreds of years worth of experience on him he had to have back up. Not even he and his summoner working together could accomplish it. So what about today?… Well, Ryse would most likely help him. If he told Inglisse about the vampires she might do it for research purposes. He wondered how the academy would feel about all this… Oh right faculty. He conjured a paper airplane of ice and sent it gliding through the library, slowly winding it’s way to the receptionist.
“Well kid the answer for you is simple really. You don’t do it alone. Don’t worry about it for now, I’ll figure it out at some point in time… In the meantiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime…” He leaned over to see the receptionist leaving the room. He grinned and moved. Leaping out of his chair, he put his feet on a nearby bookshelf and propelled himself at the vampire, his sword drawn and aimed at the individual. The vampire leaped back while drawing a sword themself, landed and charged at Oras. The two had landed their blades against one another, locked in combat now. The previous actions had only took a second or two to complete. Oras’ eyes flashed with excitement. “You’re a worthy challenge! Let’s not rush this shall we? And just have a little bit of fun first!” The vampire smiled, showing the same love for battle in his own eyes. "Fine by me, I was starting to get bored anyways!” And with that the two broke the lock and prepared to have a duel in the library.

Ozaki watched Oras make the ice airplane and watched it make its way to the receptionist… Weird. Then she left. “Fun? No no. You really shouldn’t do anything on my account.” Ozaki insisted.
Then Oras spoke about not doing it alone. But if he didn’t do it alone he risked putting anyone who joined him’s life in danger. Oras might possibly be able to handle himself and not die… But with the kind of people he was dealing with even if he handled himself fine, they may very well go after the ones around him he cared about. Like his summoner for one. As a glacier atranoch he had to have one.
He couldn’t have that. Ozaki didn’t want anyone to get hurt or potentially die on his account. However… Before he could do anything or say anything against it Oras had already risen and was charging his way at the vampire. Oh shit. Then they were locking blades. “Whatever you do, for the love of Carmilla do not kill her!” He shouted after Oras. He withdrew two blood filled darts from his pouch, ready to intercede on both accounts if he had to at some point.
A fight in a library, this was terrible. They were going to get in… Oh the receptionist. but there were people in here! Watching with varying degrees of confusion, alarm, and rapt interest. No no no.
