Snipers gonna Snipe (open)

Upon Talon saying he wasn't sure how long his own talent would last Ozaki reached into his own pouch and upon touching the blood filled dart, turned it into a sedative. When he pulled it out it was a simple clear liquid. He had learned to be a little more cautious about showing the exact nature of his talent. Particularly with more shady, interested parties enquiring about it. He darted the man quickly, putting the now emptied dart back in the other pouch. "There we go. Now we don't have to worry about it. You'll want to test at some point how long it can last with various variables such as species, gender, age, and a few other things. But for now... Such experiments are best not handled when the target is literally hanging over your shoulder. Particularly this one."

He was a dangerous one, Ozaki knew from experience.

“I’d imagine.” Discrimination against fiver’s was rampant in their home country. With a prevailing attitude that if they could not be a use to society, they were useless. That was kind of a tautology, but an accurate one nonetheless. “Oh yes, there’s a good weapon’s shop at 1235 Flareview way.” Ozaki was currently wondering what kind of weapons Talon was used to using. He could imagine his talent with electric energies and a whip would make a nice combination. Though if he did not already use that kind of weapon there would be a learning curve. “Though. What kind of weapons do you use anyhow?”

“Any time.” Ozaki said in affirmation that Talon could ask him, pulling out his phone. “You got a phone? It’d be easier to reach me if you have any questions that way.” He couldn’t be sure that Talon did have a phone. Though if not that would likely be one of the first purchases he’d want to get when he had some money. Ozaki started looking through his phone at the online bulletins for good starter jobs for students. He could go with of course, but he still wanted to go easy on one of Talon’s first official jobs as a student hunter. Though it'd have to be at least a little bit of a challenge so that Ozaki could get an accurate gauge of Talon's current abilities. 

“I’d imagine with electricity that having a solid metal weapon that conducts electricity might do it. But if you want precise instruction I’d look into the Elemental Magic class.  Not to be confused with the Summon Elemental Magic class I'll note... A lot of humans tend to have element based talents. Yours works a bit different, but I would think the principles would work the same." Talents were wide and varied, but nonetheless they could be separated into different categories.

Talon’s was Elemental in nature. Ozaki’s was analytical and creation in nature. Though… It was perhaps presumptuous to think that Talon’s talent was elemental in nature, considering that was just the nature of fivers. His talent could be something else entirely.

“Then I guess we’re either going to have to arrange a time a place to meet or…” Ah. Here was a good one on the online bulletin. Ozaki’s eyes lit up slightly, and it wasn’t just from the light of his cell phone. This would be a good first official job. “Ever fought a tengu? There’s been one that’s been mugging people in the Shizaki district that the police have had a hard time with. We could probably nab it tonight or another night if the rest of this one is booked up for you.”

Ozaki would allow him to have the whole of the money from this particular bounty. As someone who already had a full time job, hunting contracts were just extra money anyway. Not to mention they had the added benefit of curbing his need to hunt. Artemis’ blessings upon his particular variant of vampire came not just as a boon, but a sort of compulsion. Though… He always was held over longer when he actually got to feeding directly on his prey of choice.

His stomach growled at that, embarrassingly enough. He had made sure to eat before this hunt but… It was just nagging him having a fresh meal just lying there and not biting into it. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue but… He’d been trying to teach himself how to feed properly recently. And the taste of blood banks just wasn’t quite doing it any more.

He looked ahead, to the police station now in sight, and increased his pace. “Interesting.” He’d note on the different types. “You’ll have to show me what you’re capable of thus far when we do our job together.”

He sure hoped that Talon took it at a slow pace. Only what he could handle. Else wise he would be overwhelmed. This place was different than his home country. He didn’t have to try so hard to prove himself worthwhile to live… Then again he might be assuming too much from just knowing the history of Fivers. But his point was this was a country of many different type of species. Fivers were rare to be seen out of their home country, but they weren’t the most crazy thing out there.

“A tengu are a type of yokai has a varied appearance, looking to be a raven, human, or some sort of oni or goblin. If they have a more humanoid appearance you can tell when they summon their raven wings, and even more so if you see their Hauchiwa. Which is a feather fan that can stir up great gusts of wind. They usually stick to their family group in the wildnerness, so if this one is out here alone its possible its either been banished or left on its own.” Ozaki answered. There were a few other options, but if it was committing such muggings the likelihood of it being out on business didn’t seem too great.

He nodded at the second thing Talon said. “Yah, though I’m not really a teacher. My job at the school is an inventory manager.” It was one of the ones that kept the school functioning, so it was quite important. Then again… He supposed one might be able to call him a teacher right now, considering he might fulfill the role of one soon enough. Still, didn’t feel quite right taking that particular title.

Ozaki lifted his phone up for Talon to see. “Well, that was the general description of what a tengu looks like. Thankfully the posting comes with a picture of what our target will look like.” The picture was of an avian based looking tengu. In the picture the tengu had a hood up, but you could still see the beak and the wings were unmistakable.

“Well I’m not the only one who helps manage the inventory, nonetheless I’m glad we could help.” The school had far far too many people attending it for him to be able to manage all of that. By now they were on the steps of the police station. "Do you want to come in for this part or just wait out here?"
