Kaname listened to Natalie sing in multiple languages. Kaname was not much for singing, but Natalie had the voice for it. Whether it was natural or boosted by her Talent the hybrid did not know, but she did not care. She had already said that Natalie could sing during their wilderness adventure. She was not going to go back on her word.
"I'm going to go ahead and draw my sword, if you don't mind." Kaname informed Natalie. It had been the first time she had drawn the weapon since a few weeks ago. She was glad that she was not on campus because chances were high that she would be sent to the principal's office. They had no authority off-campus, so she was free to draw the sword as often as she wished. Kaname drew the gleaming sword and noticed that something felt off about it. It drew so smoothly and quickly that it was like it had leaped from the scabbard. Kaname had never had that happen to her before. She was concerned. Was the sword onto her plan to find a way to control it?

Tags Word Count Anything Natalie was absorbed in her singing that she could not even observe what Kaname was doing. That sword of her was rather mysterious and unpredictable- was it just a magical sword or was it something much more? Perhaps it was some sort of ethereal force far beyond anyone's understanding. Natalie would definitely take interest in it since she likes mysteries, but at the moment she was entirely focused on her power.
The way this odd feeling in nature manifested when Natalie used her Angel Voice was something like... when you want to say a word. You don't know what the word is, but you feel like it is right on the tip of your tongue- you are so ready to say it, but you cannot- two wires in your brain will not connect to let you shape your thoughts into the word. That was how Natalie felt right now- she felt like she was on the brink of discovery, of some power which goes beyond her Angel Voice, but she could not bring it to the surface. Every time a song would escape her lips she could feel reactions coming from the nature itself; plants, animals... she felt like she was becoming one with the nature and then... it would all be washed away. The moment her song ends that feeling becomes weaker and the moment song is in its climax the feeling grows potent.
There were many songs in Natalie's 'arsenal'. She spent many years focusing on music and performance in general so there was no way she was going to run out of the musical ammo. They were going forward and she kept on singing; her voice turned completely angelic as a result of her talent. For a moment she could sense as if her skin began to change- as if something appeared on its surface, but once her eyes turned away from the path and her concentration focused towards her arms where the feeling of change was the strongest it was all washed away once again.
"Were those... feathers..." she thought to herself. For the briefest of moments she could swear she noticed feathers growing on her arms. Was this... manifestation of her Talent? But there was no time for thinking about that. "Doesn't matter! I have to go on!" she thought as she thought of the next song to sing.
The song she was going to sing next was in Korean and it was dedicated towards artistic magnification of nature's beauty and the spirits of nature. The song has no name, but she learned it as a child and ever since then she had been singing it whenever she was in a bad mood. Word after word started coming from Natalie's mouth- thanks to the angelic voice every word sounded so meaningful, relaxing and soothing. Natalie set her gaze towards the sky. Her and Kaname were being followed by, what seemed like, an eagle- it was a relatively large bird and judging by its shape 'eagle' was probably a correct assumption. It spread its magnificent wings as it soared through the sky and while watching it Natalie felt like something just happened inside her mind... However, this time she ignored it and continued singing- she refused to be distracted by the feeling. She had the odd feeling all over her arms again and even on her legs as well.
That eagle remained as magnificent as ever. It was such unusual and yet interesting color- it was grayish-blue. Its talons appeared razor-sharp and its feathers seemed so fluffy at the same time. "...!!" Natalie had this strong feeling take over her. How... how was she able to see those details to begin with- it was not as if she had binoculars... As her song continued the feathers of the bird and then the entire bird appeared to be... glowing in faint blue color. Natalie was not crazy, she was not seeing things- it definitely was happening.
Her song came to an end...
Natalie stopped walking. She was now in front of a spacious clearing. There was a small stream going down the clearing as well giving the whole scenery an additional 'sparkle' of beauty. Natalie made a few steps forward and turned towards Kaname. "This looks like a good spot, don't you think?" She inquired suggesting it might be good to stop there and attempt to train. "Whenever you feel like you are ready tell me." Natalie encouraged. It appeared like Natalie was ready to start this training. Was she planning on fighting Kaname as training? If so, Natalie was at huge disadvantage considering Kaname is, after all, a fighter. Though, Natalie was radiating with confidence- she did not seem to mind that her opponent is combat-wise superior.

"OK. I'm almost ready." Kaname said to Natalie while holding the blade in both hands. What was about to happen next concerned the hybrid. She was concerned that the sword might step up its plan to control her and make her attack Natalie with the intent to kill. Kaname wanted to use her Sword Control Talent but would not use it right away. She felt it appropriate to warn the other student. "If you need to run, don't hesitate. I'm not trying to brag or be funny. Something's off about my weapon. I can't readily explain it, but if you need to run, just run." Kaname warned Natalie. Her plan to learn to control the sword was not off to a good start. She would need to accelerate the timetable for her plan.
