However most of the time Beatrice tries her best to ensure you are well taken cared of while under her care. As a medical student, Beatrice makes it her goal that anyone that comes under her care will be cared for to the best of her ability. At home she secretly is a coach potato, taking any moment to procrastinate and warm up on the couch while catching up on her favorite TV show on Yootoobe. Beatrice has a fear of frogs and will blast her powers at the amphibian till it is well cooked enough for the French.
History: Beatrice Ramhorn is a descendant of a Cernun, who are a Horned race. Beatrice of course belongs to a Ramhorn side of the Cernun. From young Beatrice was a prodigy among her peers, capable of using the elements way better than those around her. It was a belief that she would be a future Alder when her time comes to take over. However Beatrice was not one for responsibilities that heavy. After attending school, she gained an interest in Biology and soon had a dream of being a biologist.
However said dream was replaced by a different dream after her father got into an accident. Back then only the Alder were capable of healing using special herbal medicine and hospitals were not readily avaliable for a 8ft tall man with the strength to crush trucks. Fortunately there was a Alder available and her father was saved, but the feeling of helplessness Beatrice felt made her strive for a way to contribute as the frontline of care.
So Beatrice shifted her attention towards Nursing and Care, and her love of biology also grew along as she begun to learn the fundamentals of species insides and how they worked. Soon, she graduated and got a job as a school nurse in the school she graduated from, the Academy. She currently lives by a large water channel in a fancy posh house, along with a lecturer named Merlissa(who she sometimes ask to bring her in that endless bag Merlissa has to bring her to the academy.) She has accomplished her Rite of Passage have chosen the Fundamental Element of Fire.
♦ SPECIES INFORMATION ♦
Name of Species: Cernun
Baseline Dimension: Due to sexual dimorphism, or the differences between genders, the baseline is different.
In Males, the average height stands to be about 6ft 7inches minimum. Females stand at about 5ft on average. The average weight of a male is usually 150 kilos, mostly muscle mass while females average 59 kilos.
Baseline Appearance: Both male and female Cernuns have horns. Horns vary on their descent however, hence their name sake. Males are burly muscular men, with features like square chins, impressive jawlines and a lot of hair. Females are petite, pretty and well-endowed. Hair often takes a purplish color, though spots are also common on the skin and hair.
Culture/Origin of Species: Said to be created between the union of an extinct horned race and humans, the Cernun are well-known for their horned heads. Given their last name based on their horns is a common practice in Cernun society. For example a Goat horned Cernun would be named Liesl Goathorn while a Cow Horned Cernun would be named Liesl Cowhorn. Variations of the last name can be based on other languages or variations associating with the horn.
The race used to be nomadic, however due to changes in the world the race was forced to settle down to society. However it does not stop the Cernun from embracing practices in their culture, such as rituals and religious dances. The race believes the the entity known as The Horned One, who they believe granted the world life through the trees and animals, thus Cernuns are strictly vegan.
Traits:
• The most interesting of the Cernun is their affinity with Elemental magic, a trait that is believe to have been genetically passed on from the extinct race and empowered by humans. This allows most Cernun to magically control small amounts of the elements from a young age. However Cernuns usually dive into an aspect of elemental magic after their rite of passage.
• The Rite of Passage is both a ritual and an empowerment. The Cernun have a figure known as an Alder, and each element has a corresponding Alder. Every year a mass test begins in the outskirts of society where Cernun of age will attend. Upon completion, the Alder reawakens a locked power in the young Cernun to allow them to gain more control over an element of their choosing.
• Physically the Cernun are very strong, often men and women could lift weights many times their size naturally and they come stuffed full of stamina too. This trait means the Cernun can be very helpful when it comes to lifting loads.
Flaws:
• The Cernun care for their horns, and have an over compulsive urge to care for their horns when they are not concentrated on other things, though sometimes the urge may grow too strong to tolerate. Cernun who do not care for them tend to go into depression, and their elemental powers dwindle away slowly.
