Soul pulled out a book and flipped it open as he stood in the library. He had been walking around in the grand library, there was some saying that the place was haunted, but so far he hadn't seen anything. Instead he was just looking at all the sections this library had and what books were available. The long-haired face of the bifrons shut the book again as he placed it back on the shelf. Nothing really interesting, perhaps he should find some books on the apocalypse or something for his other face to read, albeit he doubted that Mind was interested.
Right now the face in control was Soul, who had long brown hair. The other face of his had short black hair and went by the name of 'Mind'. The two faces together, or rather the bifrons himself, was named Dri Tera, but unlike many others of his kind, he liked to have separate names for his two faces. They just were too drastic different to stick to one name. Some would cut their names in half, but the name 'Dri' was too short to make anything out of. So instead they opted to go with their... stronger attributes as they would say.
Looking over the books, Soul sighed as he turned away and walked further along the shelves. "Would a history section be a good idea to go to?" he asked himself while pondering on what Mind would like or if he could find anything on what might be haunting the place. He hadn't really seen anything that might be haunted. Perhaps the ghost students just liked to haunt the place. He had been at this school for a long time and he had never seen anything.

But now instead of the patter of feet from the roaming students, there was nothing but the ethereal, almost unnerving silence the large halls offered. Like someone took a plug and virtually drained every single noise surrounding the room. Now there was nothing, but eeriness that followed the steady stream of silence. Large arches reminisce of those normally seen in old churches styled the high ceiling. Kin to what people called gothic architecture.
That certainly didn’t help the entire ‘haunted’ hear says roaming about. Old rumours spread from student to student until it became one of the urban legends surrounding the old academy. Isnt that how it normally starts? Rumours spread through the elusive grape vine.
Just as the man walked furthered through the cross roads of shelves a passing wisp of white flittered from behind passing by the man without a moment’s notice as it went towards the shelves behind him.

Walking in a calm fashion onward, Soul still checked the books here and there as he read the covers. There didn't see much of interest thus far. Honestly, he was more there for rumors than anything. Considering the ghosts around the school, it was pretty possible that the 'haunting' were just students, maybe the ghosts even started their own club and it was somewhere there. Would that make it a secret ghost-only club? he pondered to himself and felt Mind being somewhat annoyed with his interest. Ignoring his second face, the man just walked onward. "Kind of a big place," he said as he came to a crossroad.
Looking from side-to-side, Soul pondered on how big this library even was. It was an old one, that's for sure. He wondered how things was built back in the day they created this place. Looking over his shoulder, he looked behind him for a moment if anyone was there. He hadn't exactly seen the wisp behind or anything, so knew not what was going around. Turning back to the front, he walked just straight across with a shrug, "wonder where the other students are," he said, finding he had found himself in a rather quiet section of the library. Perhaps he should go back to the front, but then there's be no thrills of finding perhaps some fun things. |
