the moon was high in the sky as lavender theodosia set her feet down onto the ground. her noble steed, shaking his mane as her light weight disappeared from his back. lavender had been wanting to finish mastering the newest addition to her skills for quite some time. as she gave her loyal stallion a pat on the neck, she tied him up to a nearby branch. the forest trees seeming to merge together until lavender trekked to a small clearing among the trees, the clearing she had in mind that she had come across on her way between villages. lavender set her back down at the base of a tree so that she could have it for later and headed for the center. now that lavender was standing in the center of the clearing, she could practice her new skill. the silence in the forest could be seen as deadly to some people, however lavender preferred it. without so much as an ounce of hesitation, lavender closed her eyes to concentrate. the feeling of utter magic flowing through her body as she opened each of her circuits. holding out her hand, she opened both of her eyes in a mere instance. faint glowing could be seen floating from lavender's hand. as she pulled forth her magic. a single second passed before the clothing that lined lavender's body changed from her usual getup to something more suitable for armor. the metal shined in the moonlight as it draped through the center of the clearing, pooling around her. a sharp longsword was now within her right hand. the first equip done. feeling slightly tired, lavender returned her dress to normal. time for a little break, i think... lavender went to open her bag, grabbing a small vial of black liquid. she took a small seat next to the base of the tree and began to drink the contents of the vile. her face scrunching up as the taste of the potion cascaded around her tongue, infecting her mouth like some sort of disease. however, it did the trick as she felt less tired. i gotta refrain from producing that heavy armor...it definitely uses more magic and more energy than the light armor i can bring forth from the magical plain.. as lavender sat near the tree, she remembered the adventure she had where she first attempted requip. the adventure where she had found the new style of requip for the first time. she had been actually on her way to take out a member of the military. one that had pissed off a fellow citizen. if lavender had been found out, she could have been given the death penalty. she had actually had her sword during this assassination, and so she had gone after the man of the military as she would on any other occasional instance where she had a rather large weapon, as the rest of her weapons were at the smithing shop to be repaired. lavender had gotten in without a problem, however, it had been a rather messy kill. not one of her ultimate best. the precision was uncanny, as the man had been out later than usual. meaning that he was awake when she went in for the kill. naturally, it never would have been a problem for her, however she had been unsuspecting of it, and thus she had been too relaxed. the assassination ended up being a fight and during the process, her sword holster was snapped and broken. finally, lavender had manged to kill the man only to find that she had no place to put her sword. cleaning things up was easy, however she had lost her holster! it was then that lavender thought of the many planes that the different worlds had. lavender thought for a few seconds before deciding to try a new base of magic. her thoughts wrapped around the fact that all magic came at a price. shrugging them off, lavender concentrated and "POP" went her sword. (not literally) it disappeared from her hands and lavender was without her sword. concentrating once again, she requiped. her sword coming to her hand. smiling, lavender performed the magic once more and had left the area taking her leave as she had finished her missionary contract. lavender was brought back to the present as a soft howl sounded nearby. grunting, lavender tossed the vial back into her back and stood to her feet. ready to try it again. her feet once again stood in the center of the clearing, her body awaiting the next set of requip. lavender once again concentrating, this time it felt so much easier. as if her many nights of practice were paying off. her clothes changed once again, this time she had a long black hood on, black tight -like pants and a black strapped top, her stomach showing the fair skin that she had. her fingers were now clasped around a magnificent bow. the black swirling ebony wood limbs stretching outwards as the never yielding, pure gold string was strung between the two limbs by an elegant axel clasp. this was lavender's favorite gear. the gear she found best for sniping assassinations. a wide grin befell upon lavender's face. a grin she never really got. a grin that lavender only really made while she finished her contracts. pulling back the string, she concentrated and an equally as lovely arrow appeared, drawing it back, she looked towards the trees. letting the arrow fly loose, she watched as it hit the target directly in the center of the trunk. now this, i like. without so much as a second thought, lavender headed back to her horse. her bow, drawn across her back. lifting up her bag, lavender untied her steed and mounted him. her body faced away from the center of the forest, her arrow still in the tree. without thinking twice, lavender rode out of the area. her next mission fresh as the night. she was on her next contract, this time, her victim was a rather sneaky fellow this time around.
