welcome to Eldritch Academy
In a world of myths and mysteries, the pinnacle of the magical academies exists. Eldritch Academy offers education to all ages and species but specializes in the study and training of one's innate mystical capabilities, often called Eldritch Energies, Powers, or Unknowns, but more formally known as their Talent. However, tensions run high with the nations only holding a fragile peace as the Talents that rival the epitomes of technology change the balance of power.
With the more recent uprising of evil Shades and introduction of combat-oriented programs into Talent-focused schools, nations grow more aggressive towards one another. The demand for resources grows, and skirmishes at the border of Arka and Mistere become more frequent. Monsters run into the nations from the Wildes, terrorizing villages and cities. The need for trained or in-training Hunters and Guardians has never been more urgent.

{ } Even when he claimed to be dressing down, the young idol never failed to impress the general public with his sense of style. He even updated his social media this morning, saying that he was dressing casual and comfy and when most people think casual and comfy, their minds drift to sweatpants and a comfy sweater. As he walked into the library, his outfit would be on display for most of the public. The young man's definition of casual could be described as what someone would wear if they took their date to the fanciest restaurant in town. He thought he'd blend right in with how he was dressing but in reality, he stuck out like a sore thumb for being so well dressed in school. And as a senior in high school? Completely unheard of past the first week of classes. He still wore a black baseball cap, black mask to hide his facial features as well as his round glasses to hide his face somewhat, but mostly to help him see. However, he was dressed up with a white turtleneck, a scarf with a plaid like design having black as the primary colour with accents of white, gray and red, gray trenchcoat, black chino pants and red high top shoes. The fact that he was this dressed up at the library spoke a lot of volume. Although if you were just to glance at him, you'd think he would be royalty as he carried himself with a dignified presence with how he walked and stood up straight. There was a lot of reasons he didn't blend in and ironically, even if he weren't an idol, he still probably wouldn't blend in due to the sole fact that he'd still act exactly the same. Making his way to a vacant table, the smile on his face would not be hidden by the face mask he was wearing. Pulling it down so he could breathe a bit easier, the young man would take his messenger bag off as he sat down in the comfy chair. It was rare that he got a table after his classes today so it was already a better day than usual. Opening his bag, the young idol would put out his earbuds, his books from class, his notebooks and his laptop. Setting up his station by opening his books to the assigned reading pages, the idol would take some earbuds out of his pockets as he plugged them into his laptop. Playing music from a platform, the young man would smile as he began taking notes based on his readings. He really did not want to do these notes but he knew that if he didn't, the agency would catch wind of him not taking his classes seriously and that was more of a hassle than studying. Sighing, the young man would focus on taking his notes for the time being. He couldn't help his stomach growling because he had not eaten today. It was already the middle of the afternoon and he knew full well that if he didn't eat now, he wouldn't be able to walk back to his dorm safely. But, he had already eaten three times yesterday and that was two more times than he normally ate per day. He should survive until he makes it back it to his dorm. The young man's eyes would switch colours to a dull yellow for a brief moment as he made a neutral face in reaction to his stomach growling, and when he blinked, the colour returned to red and his hunger pain seemed to become numb as the growling ceased. Smiling as he continued writing notes, he'd just think to himself that he wasn't that hungry but he had indigestion from overeating yesterday. Yeah, that was more likely. MADE BY VEL OF GS

`` Sleep don't visit, so I choke on sun, and the days blur into one And the backs of my eyes hum with things I've never done Who would not have noticed the young man strutting about the library in such nice garments? Inglisse herself wore a faux fur-lined navy blue hoodie, a black t-shirt, and some casual skinny jeans with boots. She blended in well with their surroundings, the nice and homey library of the academy. Silver eyes left the pages of lines on her book to peer up at the other student who sat down at the table next to her. The library was usually fairly crowded, but at least there were a few open seats today.
She went back to studying as he set himself up for his own study. Her eyes traced the pages of the massive and fairly old tome she had with her, a unique book that had been handed down to her through her family. It was full of the data and research her family had done, and had properties of its own. Inglisse had moved from her mulberry research to research on a much more complex life form-- phoenixes, specifically sun phoenixes. She had almost zoned out in her reading when the subtle growl of a stomach caught her attention. Looking back up, the platinum blonde recognized it was coming from the brunette boy who had just set up. More strangely, his eyes flickered a sulfur shade of yellow for just a moment before they reverted back. He suddenly had her full attention.
Silently reaching into her bag, Inglisse pulled out a small tin which held a few tea cakes and biscuits. She had no tea to offer with them, but surely this would suffice. Standing from her chair and carrying the book she had been reading-- ensuring it was remaining open, the girl walked over to his table, directing herself to an open seat next to him. She placed the book down and set the opened tin of goods next to his laptop. “You sound hungry. I have some extra tea cakes and cookies on me, if you like,” she said with a warm smile, not yet taking a seat. “Do you mind if I join you here?”

{ } As he finished making his first page of his review for his psychology class, Jin placed his pen back on his table. The notes that he took were extremely detailed and looked somewhat meticulous to write as he worked rather hard to make them look aesthetically pleasing. Studying doesn't come easy to him so he learned a little while back that if he takes time into making it look visually pleasing, he will take the time to actually look at what he has written down. Not wanting to lose rhythm, the young man took a drink of water as he took out one earbud in order to hear the ambiance of the library. It was comfortably quiet, with only the occasional page flip or typing on a computer. Nothing too grating. Although, the young man was rather surprised as a girl walked up to him, offering some pastries. The fact that she was a complete stranger and offering him treats didn't sit well with him for many reasons. First of all, his mother taught him quite well not to take things from strangers. Granted they were in a public area but that was still risky. Second, last time he took a treat from someone, he was nearly poisoned due to the fact that a fan had laced it with something. He still didn't know what, but all he remembered from that experience was puking his guts out. And lastly, he wasn't hungry. Taking another sip from his water bottle, the young idol would wipe his mouth before smiling, "Ah, I appreciate the thought, but I'm not hungry. I've had plenty to eat today." Two full water bottles are a lot. Looking at the free seats around them, Jin would continue, "I certainly don't mind your company, but since I'm studying, I'm afraid I won't be good company for you. If you would like to sit here though, I'd welcome it." Keeping the smile on his face, Jin would turn down his music as he turned the page in his psychology textbook as he tried to not look at the tin of cookies that the girl had offered. Pausing his notes for the umpteenth time in a short time, Jin would take a sip of water in order to distract himself from the food in front of him. He'll survive. Looking at the header for the page that he wrote in calligraphy, the idol would look at the book that the girl was holding as he tried to make idle talk while he absentmindedly took his notes, still managing to make it look aesthetically pleasing. "What is that book about? It seems to have had your attention before you came over." He wasn't gonna lie. He noticed her before, but he was here to study not to make friends. If he saw her outside the library, odds are he would have struck up a conversation first. Pushing up his glasses, Jin would take off his baseball cap as he ran a hand through his hair to read what he had written while waiting for a response from the girl at the same time. Ah, he forgot something. "Also, apologies for the late introduction. My name is Jin. Pleased to meet you." She probably knew who he was. If you had internet, you probably knew he was, but you never know, he is a foreign celebrity so odds are people in Mistere don't know him as well. MADE BY VEL OF GS
