Name of Talent: Metallokinesis
Concept: Due to her heritage, Aspen, as a human, is naturally closer to elements, her family especially focussing on one of the elements, namely Metal. Metallokinesis is, in essence, the full control over any kind of metal in existence. The user, through their will and mind, has full control over the element and can shape, bend and alter it to their liking and needs. Metal may be hardened, liquified, pressurized, heated, frozen and, perhaps most importantly, moved at will. Anything is possible really, as long as the element being manipulated is of metallic nature. In all other regards, the metal controlled by the talent behaves like a normal metal would under the same circumstances, so a wall of steel is naturally going to block a bullet, but might not resist an explosion and so on.
Aspen uses this talent both offensively and defensively by manipulating metal she finds naturally or carries with her, this perhaps being the most defining factor of this particular talent, the fact that the user cannot, in contrast to Metallogenesis, create metal at their will, only manipulate existing metals. This being the case, Aspen has grown accustomed to always carrying unnaturally vast amounts of coins with her in her pockets and has grown rather fond of metal decorations which could be used in cases of emergency. Though, of course, she is not limited to the metallic objects she carries on herself.
Extra(s):
✥ While using this talent the eyes of the user seem to flare up with energy, their natural eye colour glowing intensely within them.
Positive Mechanics:
✥ Metal Manipulation - The user can, through sheer power of will and mind, bend and shape any kind of naturally occuring metal to their liking. This can be used offensively and defensively (OOC permission needed if used on player bodies or player owned equipment).
✥ Physical State - The user can also manipulate the makeup of the metals they control freely, heating them up or freezing them, hardening them or liquifying them, separating the elements the metal is made of and so on. The only limit is the user's imagination.
✥ Metallic Kinesis - The user can freely control the movement of any metal in their vicinity, and can thus also accelerate / decelerate the metal at will. This has many applications, but can also be used to accelerate the user's movements through the control of the iron in their blood. This can be used to buff their speed or the speed of an organic ally by 1 aspect point temporarily through touch.
✥ Heavy Metal - The user can shape metal to surround their limbs or even their form entirely, should they so desire, forming around them armor that makes up a protective layer or enhances their melee attacks using the momentum of the metallic element. This, while active, grants a temporary buff of 1 aspect point to strength.
✥ Shape - The metal the user controls can, naturally, also be shaped into all manners of weaponry for the user to wield and attack with, should they so desire or the situation require it.
✥ Metallic Resistance - The user and the user's body has become accustomed to the metal they are wielding, thus becoming immune to metal poisoning and developing resistance against poison and disease in general. The user can also consume metal to regenerate sustained wounds and heal.
Negative Mechanics:
✥ Substance - No matter how the user manipulates the metal, it still retains its original qualities. This includes the properties and strengths of the metal such as for example iron being a conductor for electricity or lead melting easily etc.
✥ Availability - The user is limited to metals that they find around them. The user cannot create metals, only manipulate metals already in existence in their relative vicinity.
