welcome to Eldritch Academy
In a world of myths and mysteries, the pinnacle of the magical academies exists. Eldritch Academy offers education to all ages and species but specializes in the study and training of one's innate mystical capabilities, often called Eldritch Energies, Powers, or Unknowns, but more formally known as their Talent. However, tensions run high with the nations only holding a fragile peace as the Talents that rival the epitomes of technology change the balance of power.
With the more recent uprising of evil Shades and introduction of combat-oriented programs into Talent-focused schools, nations grow more aggressive towards one another. The demand for resources grows, and skirmishes at the border of Arka and Mistere become more frequent. Monsters run into the nations from the Wildes, terrorizing villages and cities. The need for trained or in-training Hunters and Guardians has never been more urgent.

THIS IS MY HEART IT'S ON THE LINE ► Despite it being the beginning of the new school year the library was very popular. But this is how it was every year, at least for the last three years Olivia has attended this school. The students flocked to this place to prepare them for the entrance exams by their teachers, most likely to impress them despite their IQ being below the average. You impress your teacher early on, the more you could get away with for the rest of the year. Soon enough that motivation to cram as much knowledge into your mind would vanish from the majority of them, instead spending their time and whatever remaining brain cells calculating what color lip gloss to wear in the morning and how to hit three keggers before curfew. The rest of the students? Would be her fellow comrades for the year, not enjoying the parties and carefree nature of the rest of their student body as much as she did. They would be the least of her problems, and would most likely respect her library's peaceful rules. But until then, she would have to just duck her head and be patient. Though, telling someone who had little to none of it was rather hard. Hiding herself away among the many wooden shelves Olivia sat quietly towards the back of the library, curled up with one of the old classics of literature writings. Practically living here rather than her dorm, as one could imagine, she has already gone through all of the books they provide the last couple of years being here. While they did get new shipments in every year they were no match for her speed reading antics, and as such were consumed within the first few weeks of the new year. Now she was rereading some of her favorites to pass the time. A little dull, but she noticed the more you reread something the more you get out of it, so it wasn't all too bad. It was much better than being elsewhere. The books were her friends, as strange as that sounded. There was nowhere else she would rather be. It defiantly beat out being forced into classes when she had to be at the very least. Though it was day, due to being where there wasn't much sin shining through the windows Olivia had taken to using candle in order to read in the more dim places. They provided little light, but still managed to to their job enough for her to read comfortably. The candle stood next to the girl, the orange flame flickering every minute or so due to the cold aura she naturally gave off. Her pinkish eyes scanned the page rather quickly, turning the tanned pages on the rather thick book once she was done. Peace and quiet. It was exactly what she needed for the start of the busy school year.

{ } The young idol didn't see any reason to wear what he usually did to hide his face in the library, especially with it not being that busy around this time of year. It was actually quite peaceful in contrast to the rest of the academy and just like the rest of the academy, it didn't really disappoint in terms of architecture and style. He could see himself spending a lot more time here in the coming months. It'd probably end up being an interesting semester. Either way, he should solely focus on reading some more to get more familiar with the cultural difference in Mistere and based on all the different types of people here and with being so accepting here, it was rather jarring. Better get started. Stepping into the young adult isle would be fun because he was usually not allowed to read these types of books as per his mom's advice. Grabbing one of the books and turning it to see the cover, the young man would be in surprise as he felt his face turn bright red. It was nothing more than a pair of teenagers but they were basically one person with how far she was leaning into him. He was so used to never seeing that type of physical intimacy in a sensual way because even his parents were completely hidden about whatever they did. Placing the book back in the shelf, the flustered young man would not really pay attention to where he was going and trip over a bump in the carpeted floor. Quietly gasping in a moment of surprise, the young idol would attempt to grab the bookcase to regain his sense of balance but it slipped out of his grasp. The teetering shelf began to wobble and Jin was on the floor, somewhat disoriented because his glasses fell off. He was basically blind without them so he was squinting as he looked for them. Completely unaware of the how the bookcase was teetering above him, it slowly teetered and stopped as a single book fell. It was the one he had failed to put back all the way so it simply fell onto his head. At least it was the paperback copy. Wincing in pain as it landed on his head, Jin would rub his head tenderly as he felt his glasses in his grasp. Grabbing them and placing them back on his face, the young man would look at the book that hit him and his blush would return as he shoved back in the bookcase as quickly as he could. It's fine. He could just ignore what just happened and write some lyrics instead. Pulling out a small brown journal out of his pocket as well as a small pen, the young idol would begin writing something that extremely glamorized what just happened. Something about falling in love and something about being in shock at seeing the girl he liked with someone else. MADE BY VEL OF GS

THIS IS MY HEART IT'S ON THE LINE ► The library was a pretty clean place, thanks to the ghost. Many of the students here had a complete disregard for books and how wonderful they truly are, thus had little care for them. It wasn't unusual for Olivia to spend a good part of her day either switching books to the correct shelves or tidying them up from the floor or tables when the students carelessly left them out. Of course most of this was so they would be in the correct places if another student was looking for the book, but also so there wouldn't be any accidents. Particularly any accidents that involved someone tripping over something and then a bookshelf falling onto of them crushing their school. Not like Olivia had that experience or anything... But yet the girl was no help when it came to one's own clumsiness. Despite her daily regimen some people were just destined to be clumsy no matter what she did. And the thought? Was honestly terrifying to her. Humans were so soft and squishy compared to many of the beasts that roamed these lands, it was hard to tell what could kill them faster, be it an accident on intentional. Which is why when the bookshelf next to her began to teeter, it caught Olivia's attention immediately. Though for the first couple of seconds she was too involved in her book to notice, after the flame on the candle flickered a bit too many times the ghost new something was up. Always an observational one, she was. Pink eyes blinked as she closed her book partly, the movement in the corner of her vision catching her attention. As if by instinct she let out a gasp, wincing back and awaiting it to fall just like it had on that fateful day, frozen by all the fear inside her cold body. But, after waiting a few seconds... It didn't. Slowly she opened one of her eyes, looking towards the bookshelf next to her, which was somehow still up. After a moment of staring and making sure it was clear Liv let out a breath of relief, happy it hadn't come tumbling down. Though she was dead who knows what could have happened if the bookshelf landed on top of the candle. It would have started a fire. She opened her other eye once it was safe enough, noticing there was movement on the other side of the wooden block. Another student... Of course. Who else would be so careless as to almost set the whole building ablaze. Anger filled the girl's small frame, prickling at her none existent nerves. She ought to give them a piece of her mind! Olivia's lips pouted out, white eyebrows narrowed as she placed the book to the side and stood up to her feet in a huff. She walked the few steps forward needed and twisted around the corner, standing just a few inches away from the figure with glaring pink optics. "You bumbling buffoon! Do you not realize you almost set fire to the whole sc-" The girl stopped mid sentence as her anger subsided into pure awe, tracing the boy up and down. She recognized his look so easily now that she knew who it was. Those gorgeous locks of brown hair, his delicate facial features... The red robe that so casual showed off his muscles... It was no other than pop idol Jiho Yoon. The myth, the man, the legend himself. They very man who has been the object of the heiress' affection for years! Though no blood ran through her body the girl's cheeks blushed a bright blue, remembering all of the posters she had of him back home on her wall. He looked just the same in person. Oh how glorious this was! Olivia's normally fowl mood lightened significantly, even becoming rather sheepish in the man's presence. Unsure of how to react she fidgeted in place. "Oh my... Mister Jiho Yoon... W-What a pleasure it is to finally meet you." She stumbled out just barely. Thrusting her hand forward she would hope the man would return her gesture in greeting, though if he tried to he would fine his hand phasing right through her. In fact, by now Olivia's body had gained a light blue aura around it, turning semi transparent and misty. "I-I've been your biggest fan for years! I-I'm even the president of the MJYFC. That's Mistere Jiho Yoon fan club for short. W-What are you doing at such a dreary school such as this one? N-Not that i'm complaining of course, it's just strange that you would come and be around the commoners so freely." By now she was just rambling one hundred miles per hour, even breaking her own rule of being quiet in the library. But she was just so flustered, she wasn't even aware.

{ } His glasses began to fall as he felt a shiver down his spine. Pushing the spectacles back up to his nose bridge while he simply observed the page that he was on blankly. He didn't feel at as much ease as he did moments ago in all honesty. Glancing down at his robe, the young man would feel a little bit sheepish as he more or less unconsciously put on the robe this morning. It was such a typical outfit for the part of Hisakawa where he lived but here it did nothing more than paint him as an obvious foreigner. Perhaps he should stick to sweats for the time being. Even if he gets photos taken of him, he'll be warmer and he'd probably be more comfortable. The half-incubus slicked back his brown hair before it fell back into its normal position as he sighed. He really needed to put more effort into blending in because he probably would have caused a crowd to appear and get a bunch of headlines about being clumsy. But as it turns out, the only thing that he attracted was a disembodied voice yelling at him. Wait a minute. Turning to the sound of the voice, the young man would look at the source of the sound as it came in front of him. Since his glasses weren't really in front of his eyes at the top, he wasn't quite sure about this because there could be someone there but he legitemately could not see them. Although, the person that is talking to him didn't seem that happy. Standing up, the young man would place his journal in his pocket swiftly as he squinted with his glasses on to try to make out who was in front of him. Fire? There was a fire? Glancing in the direction behind the bookcase, he'd make out the flicker of a candle. Oh, that's what they meant. Well, considering that the world is full of various creatures, who is to say that there isn't haunted libraries. To be honest, he's more scared of himself than supernatural beings so that works out. Although, the supposed ghost that was standing in front of him became clearer to the human eye and even though she was a ghost, it seemed like it was possible that she was blushing. Aw, that's adorable. But, that meant he also got discovered within a couple of days of being at Eldritch. He was expecting to last a couple of months. Wait, since she was a ghost, would he be able to touch her? With no real restraint, the idol would slowly reach a hand out to try to feel the girl's hand but he stopped himself when she spoke his name. He felt himself shiver when she said his name. No one in Mistere has said it properly and he was growing rather tired of it, but he'd never say that. Luckily, he thought of a counter to this on the drive to his dorm. "Ah, thank you for your continued support." Bowing his head slightly, the young idol would smile and wink as he said, "Also, while I'm at Eldritch, please call me Jin." He never has interacted with any fans from Mistere but they are a lot more tame than the one's in Hisakawa. So many hands. Speaking of hands, the girl in front of him raised her hand in attempt for a handshake. Oh, his last question. Could he touch her? Reaching out his hand, it'd be met with nothing as he saw his hand phase through her. Placing his hand in the place where it should be as if he could shake it, the brunette would smile gently as she continued to ramble. It was really cute honestly. Although, hearing his real name again would cause him to shiver. Making a praying sign by putting his hands together, Jin would gently ask. "Ah, would you be willing to re-name that fan club to use my stage name instead?" All those people. Mispronouncing his name. Please just say his stage name instead. Ah, it's hardly a complaint since he is grateful enough to have fans that want to support him. The next question had him piqued though as it was concerned with why he was here. Smirking playfully, the young idol would place a finger in front of his lips as he spoke. "Ah, about that, I'm gonna need to ask you to keep quiet about that but I'm researching topics for my next comeback." His eyebrows raised when he realized. "Although, young miss, you've placed me at a disadvantage. Would you be willing to tell me your name?"MADE BY VEL OF GS

THIS IS MY HEART IT'S ON THE LINE ► Jin... He asked her to call him Jin... What was next, he would ask her hand in marriage? She was shocked. No, actually, very astonished that he would allow her the pleasure to call him such a personal nickname. She usually just called him Jiho Yoon when referring to him, merely because made her feel a little closer to him despite not actually knowing him. Was that weird? Maybe it was. This was awkward... The blush would stay on her cheeks, nodding her head in response to him asking her to change the name of the fan club she ran. She could understand why, and respected his wishes. "O-Of couse, Jiho- erm... Jin. If you wish i'll be happy to change it." She corrected herself, half awkward smile still plastered upon her lips. She didn't even mind when her hand phased right through his, nor did she actually notice. Due to her intense emotions upon meeting her idol her body was finding it hard to maintain its physical form which normally required a good amount of concentration. When he placed his finger upon his lips Olivia repeated the action herself, a confirmation she was listening despite her pretty intense fangirling. Her pink eyes widened, feeling herself tingle with joy when he spoke of his comeback. His comeback? So he was here for muse... Perhaps a little strange that he chose a school of all places to gather muse from, but she wasn't about to question her most favorite person in the world. As long as he kept the music coming he could get his muse from a dirty bathroom stall for all she cared. Ah... Right... Her name. She had completely forgotten to introduce herself to him. How idiotic she was... Olivia removed the finger from her lips, gathering enough of her concentration to start turning physical once again slowly but surely. She bowed her head, just as he had done to her. "Apologizes, forgive my rudeness. I'm Olivia. Olivia H-" she stopped herself just before she could state her last name, her eyes blinking as if she was taking a moment to calculate the repercussions of doing so. Her family was pretty hated among the pure blood and hybrid bestials. And Jin? Was one of them. If she told him what family she came from she ran the possibility of him hating her... And she couldn't have that, that would completely shatter what little bit of happiness she still had. The heiress bit back, returning back to the physical realm completely upon realizing this. "... Just Olivia."

{ } The young idol smiled gently as he tried to focus on Olivia's features as best as he could. Her name suited her. For some reason, this thought never usually came to mind when it came to other people's names but honestly it really fit the paranormal girl. He couldn't put his finger as to why though. Ah well, no need to think about it too much. He couldn't stop himself from flinching when she said his name again because she mispronounced it again. He really appreciated the fact that she was trying her best but it was almost jarring as to how people really just couldn't pronounce his name for the life of them. Oh well, she is going to call him Jin from now on anyways. It was probably the last time she was going to say it. How could people not say it though? His name only had two real syllables but most people were off enough that it causes him to involuntarily have a physical reaction. It was extremely odd. Jin smiled softly as Olivia tried to introduce herself despite her nerves. It was really endearing because it reminds of the time when he was still learning how to do proper introductions. That really was a tough week but in the end, it made it so much easier to introduce himself. It was somewhat tough and a little bit embarassing to remember the introduction because it didn't feel like it fit him all that well. But, debuting solo was really rare when you were young. Although, she stumbled on her introduction. She probably had something to hide. Jin is good at deducing when people are hiding things in all honesty but extremely bad at pointing them out. Either way, he felt like he shouldn't try to push it. Smiling gently, Jin would try to take her mind off of whatever was ailing her. "Stop that frowning. Your pretty face deserves just as radiant of a smile." Offering his own shining smile, the idol would continue. "If you'd like, we can take a photo together. I can't really sing for you because we're already being loud enough." A gentle blush dusted across his cheeks as he let out a small chuckle. It seems they were attracting stares. Covering his face with a face mask and with his usual red baseball cap, the young man would smile radiantly beneath the mask as he asked. "If I take it like this and we go to somewhere that just looks generic, people will think that you randomly encountered me. That way, I don't have to cause hold ups because people find out I'm here." Looking at Olivia with a little bit of concern as he spoke, he'd continue. "Liv, I'm going to need you to do me a favour and keep my presence here very lowkey. We can talk whenever you like but I just can't have you spread the word. Me going to school here is a lot to deal with especially since I'm a senior and I actually have to take my studies seriously. Just please promise you won't tell anyone." Holding out his pinky finger, the young man would smile again beneath his mask, hoping she agrees to this. He really needs to do well in school this year in all honesty. MADE BY VEL OF GS

THIS IS MY HEART IT'S ON THE LINE ► It was cheesy. It was so goddamn cheesy. If anyone else had told her her face was pretty they probably would have ended up with a bloody nose... But Jin just called her pretty. Doing as she was told, her frown faded and a small smile replaced it. Jin called her pretty. Her idol called her pretty. The blue blush returned over her pale face, even stronger now than before. Her figure pulsated, but only very slowly and not completely faded like before. She hadn't felt this way in such a long time... What was this feeling? Happiness, yes. It defiantly was. But there was something more mixed into it, something that made her head tingle and chest flutter. It was happiness in the most extreme sense. At least, that's what she was going to call it. Extreme happiness. But well, she did just jump into her idol randomly and was called pretty by him. This was anyone's dream if they admired another person so much. For the rest of the conversation the ghost could only nod, merely half listening to the rest of it as she started to become a little light headed. It was like his lips were moving, but only a few words really reached her in full. Wow... Extreme happiness really did make you feel a little strange, huh? As someone who didn't feel this way often it was a little scary, but not something Olivia was about to rejected. When he placed his pinky finger in front of her the ghost girl's attention finally fulled turned to him again. At first, his finger, before she looked up to his face. ... What were they making a promise on?... Oh, right. Rewinding their conversation in her head he asked her to not reveal that he was here. Why, of course she would accept. Why would she ever go against him? She would understand not wanting people to know who you were. If only she had that same pleasure. Trying to get over the fact they were apparently on nickname basis already (as she only now recognized that he used her own also) she hesitantly held out her hand towards his before hooking her pinky with his own and lightly squeezing it around his. ... She was never going to wash that pinky ever again. "I promise, wholeheartedly."The blush faded slightly into a feathered amount, a sheepish smile still tugging on the corner of her lips while she placed her hand back to her side. She looked away from him, a little embarrassed that she was so star struck and being rather silly in front of him. "Sadly i do not own a camera. But..." Pulling out a small pink notebook she would hold it out to him, a small black pen clipped to the cover of it "...An autograph would do just as fine."Then she could show it to the rest of the club. They would surely be jealous and call her a fake... But Olivia would not mind. She knew she met him, that's all she needed.

{ } Seeing the fact that Olivia easily agreed to his promise was extremely relieving as it caused it so that he didn't need to unconsciously worry too much about being held under blackmail. It wouldn't be the first kind of encounter that he had with this sort of fan, but he never felt directly intimdated by them. Olivia was different because this wasn't an environment where his manager could bail him out if he got into trouble. So, he really needed to be careful in terms of the types of interactions he had with her. He didn't need the public to misunderstand his reasoning for coming to this school. Smiling to the shorter girl, the idol would listen to her request. Oh, an autograph. Honestly, it was a lot easier than a photo because in the end, that could be used against him since his fan meet ups were on complete hiatus for the time being. If the photo got out, he might have been a dead man because some fans are completely insane with how fast they can figure out his location from a simple photo. Smirking, Jin would grab the pen that was clipped to the book and write a small message on the page for her. "To my most dedicated fan,
I'm going to be eternally grateful for you because you have done so much for my career, whether it be supporting me by watching my M/Vs or buying merchandise. You don't understand how much you mean to because I'll always be grateful for each and every one of my fans. You, Miss President of the Mistere Fan Club, have my love and I hope that you'll continue to support me in the future. Let's finish this with a lyric: 빛이 나는 솔로. You'll be my shining solo forever. Thank you for your continued support!
With love, Jiyeon"Finishing his message with a flourish of a signature, he'd dot the 'i' with a star and smiled as he turned the book to Olivia so she could read it. "I hope that is to your expectations." With a small bow, Jin would smile but blush as he heard a shush come from somewhere else in the library. Scratching the back of his neck sheepishly, the young man would speak in a hushed tone, "Sorry for disturbing your reading and causing a ruckus in the library." Deciding to tease, the brunette would wink as he continued. "It's to be expected of a bumbling buffoon such as myself." A little jab at what she called him earlier. He knew that she didn't mean it though because she realized who he was right after but if he could treat her like a friend, perhaps he could erase the image of being some unattainable standard of star in her eyes and just be able to be himself. Smiling, Jin would feign innocence to what he just said until she responded, eagerly waiting her reaction. MADE BY VEL OF GS

THIS IS MY HEART IT'S ON THE LINE ► The ghost grabbed at her notebook as soon as the idol had finished, not forcefully, but rather with a rather firm grip. He had written more than his signature, given that it should only a few seconds to write a couple of letters. She was anxious to see what he had to say, obvious by the way she had been twitching and watching him carefully through out the entire process. Olivia flipped to the page, scanning over the message, her eyes so hard it was like she was attempting to ingrain them into her retinas. As she scanned every line the further she went down the softer those pink orbs grew. He was so kind, so sweet. He had always been the type to thank his fans for everything they had done for him, unlike most of them. These days idols only cared about the fame and money, but not Jin. From day one he had always been genuine, even Olivia could tell. He was actually grateful for all he had. Such a wonderful person... And she actually got to meet him. The heir closed the book and held it close to her chest, choosing to hug the book instead of Jin so she wouldn't make him uncomfortable and make herself a fool. Well, even more of a fool. "This exceeds them. Thank you so much." She couldn't wipe the goofy grin off of her face. That was, until he referenced the way she had treated him before she recognized who she was actually in the company of. The girl's face grew worried, mortified that he may think she was trying to insult him. Well... She was... But she didn't mean it now, not to him. She shook her head feverishly. "No no! You're not a buffoon! I wasn't sure who was in here with me. A lot of students disregard the importance of books and mess it up, so i normally have to clean it up. But i trust you, of course." Maybe she was being a bit bias, but after such a lovely note she couldn't help but give him her full trust, even if anyone else wouldn't that get sort of treatment. He knew the importance of books, surely.

{ } Jin smiled brightly as he saw how his message to the ethereal being in front of him made her seem more lifelike. Anything he could do for a fan that would make them happier is something that he is willing to do. Within reason of course. Jin looked at the way she closely clutched the book to her chest and he felt a little flustered. Did it really mean that much to her? If that was the case, he should wrote something a little more serious because thinking back on what he wrote made him feel rather corny. Scratching the back of his head while chuckling, a light blush would dust his face as he spoke, "Ah, does it really? I'm glad in that case. Keep an eye out for when I start to meet with fans in Mistere. I'll make sure that you get an extra gift if you come out to support."Jin felt himself holding back a laugh as he saw the panic growing in the young woman's face. She really was processing what she actually said to him without knowing that it was her favourite idol. He could help but snort with the way he saw her furiously shake her head. "Be careful, you're shaking your head so much that it might fly off." Oh man, she sure was a funny person. Jin shook his head as he let out a breath of relief. He hasn't found someone to talk to like this in a long time. As he listened to her try to excuse the fact that she did mean to insult him, he chuckled as he was about to place his hand on her head. Although, he stopped himself and played it off to grab a book behind her. When he saw the cover of a rather steamy novel, the young man's face erupted in a shade of red as he looked away while clearing his throat. "A-anyway, don't worry about calling me a buffoon. I take no offense. I deserve the title to be honest, I'm a klutz to be completely honest with you." Stepping past the girl and placing the book back on the shelf, the young man would still feel the warmth on his face as he spoke, "You shouldn't have to be in the library alone. Just let me know when you need help with cleaning and I'll be happy to assist you." Smiling brightly, Jin would double check the section of books he was in to make sure that all the other books in the area weren't as... heated as the one he pulled. MADE BY VEL OF GS
