Catherine had no idea what was going on anymore. The trio got into an argument about blood, then the new guy got mad at Dawn about the blood, then Dawn transformed into a child with Nyx still sitting on her lap. The brunette was completely confused and felt like she was now in the middle of a contest that she did not comprehend the significance of.
Catherine took a couple of steps back and let the trio continue to argue over whatever it was that spurred the conflict to start with. This was something that she was nog going to take sides in if she could avoid doing so. These three were a lot stranger and a lot stronger than she was.

Listening to the two adults start to bicker, she did the most obnoxious thing a pacifist could ever do, turning herself side ways on Dawns lap so she could get between the two adults by extending her large wings all the way upwards as two shields preventing them from seeing each other. "No more arguing." she giggled out the comment with a good natured smile slightly wobbly on the ledge but alright otherwise, simply seeming to wish to keep them from ending up in some sort of fight or something. Quickly enough though, it seemed she was about to fall asleep again her head lulling off to the side.

Frustrating. It was all so frustrating! She had known the risk going into this but this truly was the worst possible result that could've transpired from using that spell. It was supposed to have erased the last few minutes of time so she wouldn't have to deal with the vampire's sob story. Ozaki had been irritating her but she far preferred arguing with someone willing to stand up for themselves than the awkward mess of a man he was now. There was no thrill in the fight now and now that she had turned into a child she looked completely helpless. Not only that but now she had the cafeteria's eyes on her and there didn't seem to be any escape.
How was she even suppose to admit to her lie now? She had already embarrassed herself by turning herself into a child in front of the entire cafeteria and now she was going to have to admit to lying in front of all these students as well? It was infuriating to say the least but it wasn't like she had many other options. If she kept up the lie she'd be going to the nurse's office, where she highly doubted anything could be done about her current state, and she'd have to keep dealing with the apologetic supply guy. She needed to find a way to admit the truth to the vampire without letting the other people in the cafeteria finding out.
As he approached her she prepared to grab him in order to pull him closer. If she could get him close enough she could simply whisper it to him and no one would be the wiser but before she could do even that the blood devil that had been on her lap jumped in between them. Raising her wings the girl completely blocked off the Professor from getting to the vampire forcing her to rapidly change plans. Taking a deep breath she tried to calm herself down as much as possible before responding to the current situation.
"We aren't fighting. Ozaki and I were just having a bit of a heated debate. No need to worry Nyx."
After she spoke these words, however, she made eye contact with the vampire and refused to break it. She'd begin moving her mouth as if to speak but no sound would come out. It would become quite clear in a moment that she was trying mouth the words to Ozaki without alerting anyone to what she was saying. If one was paying close enough attention though they'd realize that she was trying to say I lied.
"Arguing builds up quite the appetite though it seems. Catherine, would you mind helping me get down so I can go grab myself some food? I do it myself but it might take me a little while to adjust to my new form. Do you two want me to grab you more packets of blood?"
Having admitted to the truth Dawn was trying to escape from the situation as quickly as possible. She truly didn't want to deal with the consequences of the vampire realizing the extend of her deceit, especially not after his emotional shift. It wasn't that she felt particular guilty, being completely honest she didn't feel bad at all, but that from her perspective Ozaki seemed to be the emotional type. She had no idea how to deal with people like that when they got upset and she simply didn't have the energy to try to figure it out. So instead she decided to temporarily retreat.

He saw Dawn mouth those words through a crack in Nyx’s wings, and upon doing so he froze, a hard look entering his eyes as he slowly started reaching for one of his pouches at his belt.
She had lied? After all that? He had spilled his sob story in front of the entire lunchroom. Everyone was watching them. Ants crawled across his skin as he glanced around to confirm they were indeed stage center of the lunchroom. He took a deep breath, trying to quench the fire inside of him. He couldn’t fly off the handle. Not again.
Ozaki had already done enough by letting his temper get the best of him. It wouldn’t do any good. When he let a deep breath out he deflated, the hard look leaving his eyes. Instead now he just looked disappointed and hurt. “I… I should get back to work.” He still had a good twenty minutes on his lunch break, but he didn’t feel like he could stay here any more. He summoned his wings and started to fly down to the cafeteria exit.

Catherine blinked. Dawn wanted Catherine to help her down? How was that going to work? Was Dawn going to jump down into her arms like a child would? This was going to get very awkward very fast.
"Um... OK. I'll try and help you down." The brunette said to the faculty member. Maybe Catherine could use her augmented strength to catch the older woman without worry about dropping her. Since this was really going to happen, that would be the best way to ensure that the catch was a successful one.
"I'm ready when you are." Catherine assured the faculty member and stretched her arms out in front of her, then activated her augmented strength to absorb the recoil of Dawn's fall. Why did all these weird things happen to her?

It felt like they had been getting ready to fight in her observation, but to be fair what would someone like herself know about arguments considering she was a pacifist who didn't so much as debate. Little did the girl know, she knew more about conflict than several of the people currently present but all that knowledge was robbed from her alongside memories she was not currently even completely aware of missing. "I guess that I'll go explore the building than." she provided the comment as she jumped down from the rafter large wings expanded to aid her in floating down safely. Once the girl landed she folded her wings back against her spine, though the things still came far above her head like this. If no one stopped her? She'd simply walk out of the room to explore the school further.
