welcome to Eldritch Academy
In a world of myths and mysteries, the pinnacle of the magical academies exists. Eldritch Academy offers education to all ages and species but specializes in the study and training of one's innate mystical capabilities, often called Eldritch Energies, Powers, or Unknowns, but more formally known as their Talent. However, tensions run high with the nations only holding a fragile peace as the Talents that rival the epitomes of technology change the balance of power.
With the more recent uprising of evil Shades and introduction of combat-oriented programs into Talent-focused schools, nations grow more aggressive towards one another. The demand for resources grows, and skirmishes at the border of Arka and Mistere become more frequent. Monsters run into the nations from the Wildes, terrorizing villages and cities. The need for trained or in-training Hunters and Guardians has never been more urgent.

Nyx was already entirely prepared to just go home instead of checking out the school like she was suppose to on Askel's request. Why was he transferring her into this school anyway? Her old one had nothing wrong with it, even if this one was more prestigious! Additionally, the female was not looking forward to proving herself all over again! At her old school she had years to prove she was not just going to go insane one day, revert back to a Blood Devil's base instinct and start killing everyone in site, they trusted her, no one here had that, it couldn't just be replaced. Even if she had proved able to suppress her urges from a young age, Nyx still remembered vividly the fear her peers greeted her with, the way she was avoided like death before some braver souls probed enough to become her friend. She didn't want to be alone again, but here she was, exploring a campus so big she couldn't phantom why they needed all this and she figured she'd never see any of these faces twice.
It was all so confusing, she was actually starting to get frustrated so the teenager who looked like an elementary schooler chose to go to the cafeteria. Perhaps? Having something in her stomach would help ease her frustration before she thought the guard discretely following her could do without his guts. Looking around the large room, Nyx hoped the diversity she had heard of this place was true, the fact they already had vampires enrolled. In spite of having a higher metabolism, she still drank the same substance. "Hello." she dipped her head subtly when greeting the lunch lady behind the counter, lifting her head to realize that the woman who had likely served hundred of species was already figuring out she was not someone that had been served here before. "Aw you're so cu-" the older woman froze midsentence when her wandering eyes finally caught the curved ram like horns, the sharp tail and base of the spine wings, realizing she was not speaking to any small vampire, likely praying her assumption was wrong. "I need one blood packet, please." as Nyx spoke she could see the flinch and staggering backwards that came with the realization someone was face to face with a Blood Devil who was hungry. "H-here." the small girl solemnly took the packet and instantly flew off towards the rafters in the far corner of the room with it. "Quick, order a lot more blood, if we're going to have a blood devil attending school here we can't afford to be caught without a plentiful supply." she didn't need to hear the comments that she knew they'd already be making, like that.
Unscrewing the top of the packet she started sucking at the nuzzle of it, kicking her legs slowly as she balanced on a foot wide rafter, frown marring her face when she removed the packet from her mouth momentarily. Nyx knew it would be like this, fear and distrust would mar most of the others she encountered! They couldn't help being afraid anymore than she could help imagining how quickly their blood had to be running beneath their skin, they knew she was thinking about it, every single member of her kind did. "At least they don't go bottom shelf here." she sighed happily resuming her sucking on the forth gone packet, enjoying it slowly as it was clear they actually took some effort to get the school provided with quality blood instead of just say buying some that had been drained from a deer or something. "I can get used to having this every lunch." maybe two of them, if she asked for multiples she doubted they'd defy her for fear she'd become upset and try to get access to their blood in a less than peaceful manner.

Post by Dawn Scarlet on Mar 4, 2019 1:05:52 GMT -6
UGH! If I grade another paper I am going to lose my mind! Why can't any of these nitwits write anything interesting?! It's all the same textbook rituals in all their papers! Where's the creativity?! The free thinking?! I swear I should give them all F's purely for the lack of original thought! Actually.... maybe I could just give them a pop exam. Yea! That's it! I'll ask them to make a curse breaking ritual with the stuff in the room but make sure to take away the stuff necessary for the textbook rituals"
An aura of pure mischievous malice filled the entire room as the professor sitting at her desk began plotting her evil scheme. All it took was one look at Dawn's face to send a shiver down the spine of all the TA's who were currently helping her grade the last exam. They had seen that look on Professor Scarlet's face before and not once had it ever been good news. The grin currently spread across the Majin's face only meant one thing for her students and that was doom. The assistants were even beginning to field the need to intervene and probably would've if it wasn't for the giant roar that echoed throughout the entire classroom in the next moment.
I'm starving!"
It hadn't been a wild magical beast or some summoning ritual gone horribly wrong. No, it had simply been Dawn's stomach and upon this realization a sigh of relief spread throughout the entire room. They had been given a golden opportunity. Not only where they not going to be attack by some stray monster but they also might have a chance of saving their poor underclassmen from the professor's wrath.
"If you want to go eat Professor Scarlet I'm sure we could take care of the rest of the grading from here. There's not that much left after all." "You sure? I could always just stay for the last of it than if there are only a few left. Have to make sure to give these imbeciles hell after all!" "Of course! Don't worry about it at all! We have everything handle. Now you just make your way over to the cafeteria and get something to eat~"
Before Dawn could even react to what was going on she was being lured out of the classroom by the speaker for the TA's with the rest of them following shortly behind. In a moment she was outside of her room and the door was shut behind her. All she could do was blink in confusion as she tried to figure out what had just come over the whole group until it finally hit her. With out missing a beat she turned around and began trying to pry the door open only to find it locked. The door rattled at she tried to force it open and could swear she heard one of the TA's scream in terror in response. Yet the door wouldn't budge.
"FINE! HAVE IT YOUR WAY! I'll just go get something to eat..."
With that Professor Scarlet finally made her way to the cafeteria, where she would run into something that caught her interest far more than any student's paper or the betrayal of her TA's. While she was waiting in line for her food she managed to witness the interactions between the lunch lady and a horned girl ordering a few packets of blood. The Academy was known for the large number of different species that attended there and as a result the faculty was well adjusted to dealing with any kind of dragon, fairy, phoenix, etc. Yet when Dawn looked over at the older woman's face as she spoke to the child all the Majin could see was fear. An instinctual fear that made the woman back away from the girl she was serving and it was from that moment onward that the professor began listening into the conversation.
Blood Devil? So that's what the small girl was. Why did she feel like she had heard that name somewhere before? It was on the tip of her tongue but she simply couldn't recall it. Regardless the girl had gotten the Dawn's interesting and as a result she would make a truly bizarre order as she got to the front. That would make the lunch lady give her a look of pure confusion before realizing that she was looking at the Professor for Occult Studies.
"I'll have a packet of blood please~"
After collecting her truly bizarre meal, for a species that didn't consume blood, Dawn made her way over to the Nyx and took a seat next to her on the rafters without saying a word. With a smile on her face she looked over at the devil girl before biting into the blood packet herself. It took a mere moment for a grin to sour, even less time for her to spit out the blood and yell out.
"That tastes awful! Like liquidized iron filings! How do you hematophages do it?!"
For a Professor who was known for being creepy, scary, and rumored to place curses on people she didn't like she was acting out right goofy. Maybe it was because she saw how the lunch lady had treated the girl in line, maybe it was simply because she was bored. Either way the usually cruel professor was trying to get the girl in front of her to laugh.

Ozaki, who had been actually bringing their latest shipment to them, took in this comment with white blinking eyes. He had not yet heard of this. Annoying. He was supposed to be kept up to date with all the blood drinkers that were accepted into the academy. While his job entailed a lot of things, he had made it his personal mission to be sure that all any any blood drinkers that were in need of blood were never want for it.
He didn’t want accidents happening because someone was hungry. “Of course.” The middle aged man who looked like a teen muttered under his breath as the woman signed the paper with shaky hands. Undoubtedly she was probably afraid of him a bit as well too. Even if vampires caloric requirements were far smaller with their low metabolisms, and thusly did not need to go biting everyone willy nilly.
He didn’t expect a simple lunch lady to know that. Her fear of the blood devil was understandable, if not still bigoted. He had grown to expect better from this place than that.
The vampire strolled out into the cafeteria, quickly spotting the aforementioned blood devil. He smiled as he saw her enjoying the blood packet. He had just reached the girl when Professor Scarlet scooted in beside her and took a big sip of blood and spat it out.
His formally cheery disposition broke with a snap. “Excuse me.” He said in as dark as a voice as he could manage with his pubescent crackling voice. He brought a hand over to her shoulder, gripping tightly. “Did you just… Did you just…” He grit his teeth together, having a hard time finding his words.
“Wasteful. Waste. You... You don't even eat that? WHY?! Why would you do that?!" As someone who worked in inventory, he took it upon himself to harvest the blood needed whenever there was clearly not enough to go around. What he was seeing here was a direct insult to him, and stealing food from someone else's mouth. So he couldn't help himself but to scream in rage at the teacher before him.

Having finished class for the day, Catherine decided to drop by the cafeteria to see what was available to eat. She at least wanted something to drink, something other than water. Catherine got in line and requested a peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat bred and grape juice. She got the items and looked for somewhere to go... until she saw a spurt of red land on the tile floor just beside her. The brunette looked up and soon regretted doing so.
She spied a smaller girl sitting in the rafters merrily sipping on a pack of blood. Beside her was the Dawn the strange occult chick with a blood pack in her hand that had just been bitten into. It was assumed that she was the source of the spurt of red that just landed on the tile floor. There was also a vampire with an angry look on his face standing nearby. Catherine had went to the wrong lunchroom at the wrong time.
"Um... hi." Catherine meekly said to the group. Was it too late to turn and briskly walk away?

It was disappointing she hadn't just straight up taken multiples of the blood packets, it really was delicious her throat emitting a sound much like a purr. Already having consumed slightly over the half of the meal she was slipping deeper into the trance like state her kind slipped into after a decent meal. "Blfhrh!" she could not speak properly with the nozzle still clenched in her mouth between her teeth being sucked on for everything it was worth. However, her reaction to the spilled blood was swift, pupils dilating onto it, swooping down to drain what she could of the spillage into her long tail. "Whdsbfhj" more mumbled senseless jumble past the packet within her mouth as she settled her feet back onto the wooden rafter
Eventually she ran out of blood in the packet letting it out of her mouth with a slight pop and a satisfied sigh, laughing into her sleeves happily. "If you're not a blood drinker, you can spare that, right?" she sounded excited with smile spread across her face, optics focused solely on the packet in the other girls hand, wandering closer until her shoe tips touched
the other girls pant. "Please let me have it!" she was giggling, hand reaching out but unwilling to just take it as that was a sign of aggression which could get her shot with one of those horrid darts. It was clear she was restraining herself at this point, a painful and longing expression in her eyes focused on the blood packet that dawn had.
No matter how well conditioned a Blood Devil was, each had their own breaking point and Nyx's was when her eyes caught the steady trickle of blood coming from where Dawn had bitten into the packet. Leaning over the teacher she ran her tongue up the packet licking up the trickle from the puncture marks where she sunk her own teeth into it a clear substance vanishing from her fangs into the blood. Once the substance had vanished? The packet swelled as the amount of blood within increased rapidly, flowing into her waiting mouth with ease. Later on she'd realize how wrong this was, to have herself sprawled across the rafter, flopped onto a teacher stealing blood that was not hers to take with her tail wagging behind her like a dog being praised. However, for the moment she simply kept wagging her tail, settling her body against the teachers lap so she could keep her mouth latched to the blood pack.
After some time had passed the packet would be drained dry and she'd pull back slightly a giggling happy mess, covering her fanged mouth with her sleeves. "For someone whose tastes are attuned to it, Iron is replaced by other tastes. What I just had is incredibly savory, clearly from someone who at time of draw was leading a balanced life emotionally and physically." even the emotions of others could affect the flavor of their blood, she was impressed someone could obtain blood this good steadily, considering the rapidly changing nature of emotions.
"Hi! I'm Nyx Chaotica, it's nice to meet you." she was happy seemingly, even though she thought this was a waste of time to be here.

Dawn couldn't resist the urge to laugh as she heard the garbled sounds that came out of the little devil's mouth as she tried to speak while drinking the blood. Despite how awful the professor found the taste to be Nyx seemed to be enjoying it immensely to the point where she even jumped to retrieve the blood that the Majin had spit out. It was truly fascinating to see that not only could the blood devil absorb blood through her fangs but it seemed her tail had a very similar function as well. While the occult teacher couldn't remember where she had heard the name blood devil before she was becoming more and more interesting in the species as well as the girl in front of her.
"Sure, I'm definitely not going to drink the rest of it. I'm very certain I'd be sacrificing my taste buds if I tried. Seems you can't get enough of the stuff though so just think of it as my treat."
Nostalgia? Was that what she was feeling right now? When she had been a priestess in her first life she had always loved to entertain the children of her village. She'd put on little shows, tell the stories, and even get dragged into some of their games whenever she had free time from preaching at the temple. In a way, this little devil in front of her kind of reminded her of the village children she had looked after back than though none of them had horns, a tail, or drank blood. Yet the professor couldn't stop herself from laughing a little and smiling as the girl began to lean over her to reach the blood packet she had been holding. The blood devil's tail wagging them whole time like an overly cheerful puppy. For the moment, it seemed that Dawn had at least temporarily abandon her god complex and returned to the personality she had before her transformation.
"So the blood tastes different to you depending on the donor's health and emotional state, huh? I'm kind of jealous, I just got a big mouth full of iron but going from your reaction it must taste great for you."
A genuine smile had spread across Dawn's face as she listened to the child's explanation. What was it that they said about being a teacher? That for you learn just as much from your students as you teach them. Yet what was fascinating the Majin even more than what blood tastes like for hematophages was how easily this energetic child had made her revert to the personality of her past life. It had been ages since she had acted this way. Was a child all it really took to get her to drop her self elevated status as a Majin? It was unnerving to say the least and a part of her was rebelling against the very concept but for now it seemed the lighter side was winning out.
It's nice to meet you as well Ms. Chaotica. I'm Professor Scarlet though you can just call me Dawn. I'm not your teacher after all. Anyways, I don't think I've ever seen you around campus are you new perhaps? Then again, I'm usual not on this side of campus and there's way too many people here so maybe we just haven't run into each other before."
It seemed the professor was simply going to keep up her jovial and carefree attitude throughout the rest of the conversation until a new arrival quickly soured her mood. A vampire brat had begun to yell at her about the blood packet she had so ungracefully spit out in disgust. He didn't look much older than a teen but when it came to vampires there really was no way to tell how old he was. Regardless with his intervention Dawn rapidly returned to her usual personality and a cold look entered into her eyes. As she looked at the approaching individual all her eyes portrayed was an disturbing lack of care. As if she the angry individual in front of her was nothing more than an insect who had forgotten its place.
"I thought I'd try some and discovered I didn't like it so I let Nyx have it. Do you have a problem with that Mr..... Hmm, I don't think you've even introduced yourself yet. Well whatever. Nothing was wasted so there's nothing for you to be complaining about. Shoo shoo."
Unapologetic. Rude. There are a number of ways to describe how horrible the woman's response to the man's complaint was and yet she felt no regret. Not even the smallest bit of guilt about completely disregarding him. As far as she was concerned he had showed up and ruined her mood so he deserved everything coming to him. After all, she was a goddess of destruction and the fact that she hadn't simply erased him from existence for his hubris was an act of mercy. Dawn's superiority and god complex had returned and if it wasn't for Catherine they probably would've remained at full force.
Hello Ms. Jensen! Come to join us? Let me introduce you to Ms. Chaotica. I just met her a few moments ago"

Ozaki was practically seething at Scarlet while watching her get off on watching the display of the student giving into her more base instincts. She was hungry was all. It wasn’t something to laugh about. He grit his teeth together, baring his vampiric fangs at the professor.
Ozaki flared out his bat wings as he stood on the thin rafter that kept him up here. It was true nothing had been wasted. So he didn’t have that to be mad about. “Blood is a highly valuable resource. You don’t get to have some just because you’re curious.” The only reason none of it had been wasted was because the student had lapped it all up like a dog. “And the name’s Ozaki. I’m the one in charge of acquiring inventory around here.” A slight overstatement, he had quite a few responsibilities but to say he was in charge of it was a stretch.
But as far as this was concerned, as far as blood concerned, it wasn’t wrong. “I can’t have you wasting school resources. The fact it was not wasted was not a matter of planning, it was a matter of luck.”
He wanted to beat her face in… But as many species as there were, he wasn’t quite sure what kind she was. He mostly just kept an eye out for any blood drinker species.

Catherine knew that she had gotten in way too deep to make a graceful exit, so she would just have to hope for the best. What she has suspected was confirmed as the red substance that landed near her was confirmed by all three people to be blood. She heard the smallest person, a female, talk about how the taste of blood was affected by the emotions of the "donor" and wondered what her blood would taste like. She hoped that she never had to find out from a vampire how her blood was.
In any event, it would probably make the vampire or blood devil or whatever consumed it so paranoid that they saw potential threats everywhere they looked. Who knew? Catherine did not want to find out. She looked up at the Dawn woman and thought about the offer to join them. She was definitely not a hematophage, so she would have to pass on drinking blood.
"I'm good, thanks. You guys can drink it." Catherine assured Dawn and the other two people that she did not intend to partake of the blood packs.

Nyx was used to being observed by someone, so it was highly lucky for the professor that someone else taking an interest would not alarm the small girl but instead just seem like a normal every day event.
Bright blue optics looked up from where she was lazing in her blood induced haze, barely hearing the professor enough to respond past her own brains thoughts of how good the blood was. "My father just transferred me into the school today. He dropped me off an hour ago." and the handler with the tranquilizer gun had gotten out of his own car right behind her, that was a massive drag. Askel had instructed her to get familiar with the school while he finished paperwork, so she supposed all was well. Sadly, the little devil was unaware that moment would be the last time she'd get to see her father for a long time.
Tail still happily swaying she looked up when someone mentioned being the one in charge of blood procuration for the school, offering a tranced smile to the male. "Trust me nothing will go to waste with me around. Blood Devil. I apologize ahead of time for the increased workload." she frowned slightly but than went back to being perfectly happy. It was true, keeping her fed would be more difficult than something like a vampire as she had to consume blood almost more than normal humans consumed food. At the end her gazed turned to the other girl the professor was speaking to, briefly.

This Ozaku guy was starting to get on Dawn's nerve. Did he have any idea who he was talking to? If it wasn't for the restriction and the risk of getting fired she would've aim her talent at him by now. She was a goddess of destruction, a human that had thrown everything away to become a deity fated to destroy all of creation for the sake of revenge. This is who she believed herself to be and yet the vampire before her scolded her like she was a child. It was simply something she wouldn't stand for and yet what could she do? They were on school property, surrounded by other students. It wasn't like she could start a fight or try to execute him here. Instead she'd have to restrain herself and continue to stubborn hold her ground.
"Ah, that's why you are so serious about this. If it's the blood you are worried about wasting I could always replace the blood that was in that packet for you. It wouldn't be too difficult. However, I still have to disagree with you on the fact that I was wasting the school's resources. You see, I was born as a human and became a Majin later in life. While for a vampire I can imagine its pretty easy to figure what your diet is after you transform since your body demands it but there is no such thing for what I am. At the same time it is extremely unlikely I will ever even run into another member of my kind to ask about our diets. So instead I just have to try things and see what I like. The blood wasn't wasted, since I gained valuable information from trying it. Now instead of being such a buzzkill why don't you just go grab a blood packet for yourself and join us?"
It was an absurd argument to say the least and even more than that it was a complete lie. Sure, she was telling the truth that it was incredibly unlikely she'd ever run into another Majin but everything regarding her diet had been a lie. She knew for a fact that nothing had changed for her nutrient wise after her transformation. She gained immense power and immortality nothing about her digestive system changed. Dawn was simply just trying to shut the other man up so she could go back to enjoying the blood devil's company and learn more about the species.
"Oh, don't be so quick to flee Ms. Jensen. We aren't going to make you drink any blood or anything, especially not with this guy around. I'd think he'd blow his top if we used up another packet of blood. Sharing lunch with some faculty members and a new student certainly can't hurt can it? Maybe you can tell Ms. Chaotica here a bit about the school since she'll start taking classes here soon"
The Majin's voice had taken on a far more cheerful tone and she had begun to pat the top of Nyx's head. This was certainly more interesting than grading students papers and allowed her to distracted herself from how irritated at her TA's she was. With the cheerful grin still displayed across her face she turned back to Ozaki and with a voice that made it obvious she was teasing him she spoke again.
"While you are grabbing yourself that blood packet would you mind grabbing Ms. Chaotica one as well? I think she may still be hungry. Thanks sweetie~"

Ozaki was riled up up until the very moment she falsely confessed to not knowing the limits of her own diet. He was tempted to get angry at her falsely assuming that it would be easy for a vampire to realize what their diet was. But no. Here was a sliver of commonality between them.
He very nearly fell off the beam as she said those words, so thrown off was he.
When he’d been turned into a vampire he had had no idea what he had become. His progenitor had not stuck around after the undeath that he had caused to explain things Ozaki had had to learn everything the hard way. And here was someone else. Doing that too. His hands began to shake slightly as a wave of shame overcame him. His trademark stutter began to predominate his words. “I’m… So sorry. I didn’t know.” He bit his lip, looking down. “I really didn’t.”
He thought momentarily to the blood packets in the cafeteria line, then took one out of his coat that he always kept on him in case of emergencies. Not for himself of course, his metabolism was far too low to need such a thing at hand at all times. But for the students. Students like Nyx who might indeed be inclined to random hunger surges. He hadn't had to tap into his emergency stache. But it felt wrong to fly off now after all those callous things that he had said to Dawn in his ignorance. He handed the blood packet to Nyx, not making eye contact with anyone. He had completely missed the teasing tone, so caught in his head he was. What little part that had heard it, realized that while she might be teasing him about going to get more blood for the student, it wouldn’t be wrong to assume the Blood devil might still be hungry.
He was wringing the fingers of his left hand through his hair now, his fretting coming off him in waves.
“Believe it or not, I know how hard it can be to learn what your own body needs. I didn’t have anyone there for me when I turned either… I shouldn’t have assumed. I’m sorry. I’ll… I’ll find something to help. I… I doubt the library has anything. I’m sure you’ve looked. But somewhere has to.”

Catherine was in too deep, so there was no graceful way out of this. Dawn wanted her to tell Nyx the small girl about the school because soon she would be an official student of Eldritch Academy. Catherine did not really have much choice, so she would do her best to tell Nyx a few things about Eldritch Academy.
"I don't know where to start, but I'll try anyway." Catherine said to Nyx before launching into a description of the school. "As you might have noticed, Eldritch Academy's home to all types of people from all types of species." Catherine started out. She was reluctant to reveal her Nano-Aug status aloud because there might be spies for outside powers looking for "recruits" for some sketchy secret projects. She would avoid that issue for as long as she possibly could around anyone other than faculty.
"Since there are so many species represented here, I suggest that you don't take anything for granted. Appearances can be deceiving." Catherine informed Nyx. The brunette was glad that she did not have to drink blood along with the others. Even though she was engineered for good health, there was no telling what drinking blood could do to her immune system.

Knowing about the school ahead of time would be good, of course in her post feeding induced haze this was just a footnote in her thoughts, the devil's main brain functioning being over taken by the fact Dawn smelled almost sweet. "MORE?!" blue optics widened, pupils dilating as she licking her lips at the comment of someone getting her another blood pack. However, in her stupor she was not really able to support her weight and crumbled back down into the teachers lap again. Askel never let her have seconds and made sure the old school enforced it seemingly to spite her ravenous appetite and teach her self control, she really could get used to being here. Sure, she still was not exactly comfy and missed her old school, but larger amounts of blood was a major motivator. Quickly the little devil unscrewed the packet and curled up with the back of her head against the teachers stomach sucking down the packet much slower than before. Eventually the inventory manager was going to have to realize that Nyx was never going to say no when offered with the opportunity to drink more, since she had not been taught to realize when she was full but rather to control what went in, so she was just never going to be full, maybe.
"That's a change, most of my last school was human's or half humans." she muttered the statement as a soft sound came from her, clearly becoming sleepy rapidly as she sucked at the new blood bag dozing off and waking up every few seconds.

He completely collapsed. The determined man she was arguing with just moments before had begun stuttering and his fighting spirit had completely died out. It was obvious that she had hit a nerve. She could almost see the guilt clawing into his heart as he back down and offered up his apology. Was he really that gullible? She had made a statement with no evidence yet it had completely derailed him. While she hated the fact that he was pestering her this humility act was boring the hell out of her. It even made her feel a bit guilty, only a very little bit, about making up the lie in the first place.
The whole situation was pathetic and dull. Why couldn't she have come up with a different lie that he would've have felt sympathy for? It seemed at the moment luck wasn't on her side and had made its goal ruining her fun. The only thing that was even slightly interesting going on now was the blood devil's plea for more blood and the fact that the Majin had actually managed to convince Catherine to stay. At the very least she had accomplished something in the last few minutes. Yet was it worth the bore fest that was now going to ensue since her fight with the vampire had ended. Certainly not.
She needed to find a way to get him back in the fight. Sure, she could simply tell him she had lied but that would involve admitting something to him. As far as she was concerned that was almost the same as just accepting defeat and she refused to do that. So she would need a different method. Something that could undo the mess she had just created and put her back to what had just happened a few moments before. She needed to turn back the clock and just as she thought of that it hit her.
"That will work perfectly~"
Dawn spoke out loud. After all if she was successful they wouldn't remember any of this, after all you can't recall something that never happened in the first place. Just as the sentence ended a dark ominous aura immediately flooded out of Dawn engulfing the entirety of the surrounding area. As it spread the the objects it came into contact with began to crack and lose their stability. This included the rafters though not enough damage was done to make anything collapse beneath them or anything. This was the early warning signs of Nonexistence. A talent representing the pinnacle of all destructive magic. With this the Professor could resolve the entire situation she had found herself with one simple release of her power. She'd simply destroy all the time that had occurred since just before she told the lie. Than she could redo the entire situation but choose a different defense. A defense that would let her continue to entertain herself with the argument.
Yet when she tried to erase it nothing happened. The malicious aura disappeared completely against Dawn's will and the progression of destruction to the nearby objects came to an abrupt halt. Had it failed? She knew there was a risk of failure but she had really been hoping for a positive response. Well at the very least she hadn't gotten a back fire or at least she didn't think she had until she looked at the glowing purple cracks spreading up her arm.
"Well that can't be good...."
The purple cracks with continue to spread at a rapid pace across the Professor's entire body until eventually in front of everyone that had gathered around she would seemingly shatter. The pieces scattering into the and dissolving into nothingness. It would seem as if Dawn had completely annihilated herself until one took a closer look at where she had just been. Sitting in the same spot the Majin had just been in was a young teenage girl who looked surprisingly like Dawn, covered only by the professor's clothing that was clearly to large for her. Nyx would find herself no longer on the lap of an older professor but a child with an expression of pure irritation on her face and pointing an accusatory finger at Ozaki.
"Well this is just fantastic! What the hell am I suppose to do now?! Tell me?! This is your fault after all!"

As the rafters began to waver and shake Ozaki flew up about a foot using his wings, looking around at alarm as the rafters started to shudder and splinter. He woefully wished he hadn’t given up his emergency ration. But he still had his own needle. If he was quick maybe he could-.
And just as quickly as it happened it came to a stop. And Dawn was a little girl blaming him for some reason. He didn’t quite understand what had just happened. But if he were to warrant based on her words, a spell had gone awry. But what kind of spell had she been trying to cast?
Ozaki knew he was definitely going to have to do some research on Majin later. “M-my fault?” He stammered, his earlier befuddlement still affecting him. Logically he was wondering what she was doing as a professor if she couldn’t control her magic from doing something like this. If she was that out of control of her emotions that she’d do something like this out of impulse.
Mentally he was also trying to guess how much this was all going to cost to fix. It hadn’t shattered completely, but the rafters could not be allowed to stay in such a state of disrepair. The academy of course had a budget for accidents such as this. If that was indeed what it was… But the less the academy had to spend that money the better.
Despite all of what he was thinking he couldn’t bring himself to question her after all he’d said to her in his anger. What should he do? He could feel all the eyes in the cafeteria looking up at them now. They were expecting something, a fight. And Dawn looked to be expecting one too.
He couldn’t have this escalate any further. “J-just calm down. I mean please. I really overreacted earlier. I shouldn’t have cried over spilled blood. I mean get it? Its like the saying, but instead of milk I’m saying blood. Ha ha ha.” The laughter clearly wasn’t genuine, as it was high strung as all hell. He flew over to where she was on the rafters, offering his hand to her. “M-maybe the nurse’s office can help. I can take you there. Just… Don’t do that again.”
He’d provoked her, was her assumption, which was why he wasn’t scolding her right now. More trying to apologize and get her to calm down.
