Name of Talent: Blood Conversion
Concept: This talent allows him to convert his blood or that of other's into a different substance of choice.
Extra(s): He often combines the use of his talent with a syringe, enabling him to inject substances he has made out of his own blood into other people. This does not risk transmitting the vampire virus to others, as when he changes the contents of the needle it is no longer infected with it. He also keeps multiple needles on him at all times in case of emergencies. And also because he does not want to use the same needle on different people, as this increases the risk of other types of diseases infecting the needle and spreading to different people.
Despite his preference for needles, he can also use his talent without them by using blood manipulation to shoot a mixture of blood and the substance at the person at high velocity.
When his talent is analyzing or speaking to him something it mutters to him in voice distinctly different from his own. It sounds vaguely feminine and very stiff.
Positive Mechanics: What mechanical advantages does the Talent have? What it is good against? What does it allow the character to do? For every 3 positive mechanics one must have 1 negative mechanic.
- His talent analyzes the chemical make up and ingredients of the substance. He gets a thorough read out of its full effects.
- He can convert either his own blood or that of another's into another substance.
A Talented Thief- If a talent is drug or blood based and he is under the influence of it he can add it to his arsenal as well. Depending on how long and how much of a sample he gets, he may very well end up understanding the substance better than the original owner of the talent itself. Though getting to this depth can often require multiple "samplings" of their substance or blood based drug. OOC permission needed to analyze and duplicate a PC's talent.
Fool me once- Once his talent has analyzed a substance it can detect it through it. Attempts to disguise or otherwise veil the true nature of the substance past the point of where his talent has identified it will fall flat on him. Scentless? Colorless? It does not matter. If he has been dosed with something before he can sense it if it is within his proximity.
- He can also taste if there is an impurity of a substance he has imbibed before, though if it is a new substance and it has been deliberately hidden from his presence through magic it may slip past his senses.
- It is highly adaptable, as there is a wide range of substances he can produce.
Negative Mechanics:
Every 3 positive talents needs a negative
- In order to create new substances he must first imbibe them in a manner of which he feels the effects and gets it in his blood system. How long it must remain in his system varies depending on the substance.
- This may catch after merely doing it one time, or may require multiple times depending on how different it is compared to other substances he has drunk or been under the influence of before.
- He must be able to see or be touch the blood which he is manipulating. It has to be outside of someone's body in order for it to work.
- The more he uses his own blood to make things, the more often he has to feed.
- The undead traditionally have immunity to poisons and higher resistance pain. This talent renders both of those inherent. Due to his state as a vampire poison cannot kill him, but he will feel their full effects to their fullest extent, drawn out over a long period even for the fastest acting of substances due to his vampiric metabolism. The highest his resiliency will ever be is 2 with this talent.
