In a world of myths and mysteries, the pinnacle of the magical academies exists. Eldritch Academy offers education to all ages and species but specializes in the study and training of one's innate mystical capabilities, often called Eldritch Energies, Powers, or Unknowns, but more formally known as their Talent. However, tensions run high with the nations only holding a fragile peace as the Talents that rival the epitomes of technology change the balance of power.

The Story Thus Far...

With the more recent uprising of evil Shades and introduction of combat-oriented programs into Talent-focused schools, nations grow more aggressive towards one another. The demand for resources grows, and skirmishes at the border of Arka and Mistere become more frequent. Monsters run into the nations from the Wildes, terrorizing villages and cities. The need for trained or in-training Hunters and Guardians has never been more urgent.

Oras sighed as he began tying up the desire demon with a strand of his special ice. Reinforced to be strong as steel. "Yeah well, don't take what he says too seriously. Desire demons pull at very dangerous strings. Seeding doubt specifically to make your life miserable. I don't know what he meant or where that thread leads but. Just remember one thing:" He turned to look at her. "You are your own person. You don't want to hurt people, don't let emotions stop you. You want to have training sessions we can start next week if you'd like." After tying up the demon he hoisted it onto his shoulder and stood up. "Come on, let's take this idiot back. Then I've got to find a box big enough to mail him all the way up to Heaven. I make good on my promises," he said as he walked towards the exit.

Watching him tie up the demon, she thought lightly on what the beast may have meant in reference to her father, not too deeply but enough to start to remember how averse she had been to him for the first few years after her adoption. With no memories and in such desperate need of family, of love, why had she resisted him for years? It made no sense and she didn't have the heart to think about it at length, yet. "Next week sounds good." she spoke in response to his words even though it was painfully clear that her mind had wandered away from them. "The store on Juniper and Ascolt street sells pretty big boxes, they should have one the right size." Father had to ship things from his hunts to clients very often, so while she had never seen the end result of a hunt she had often seen the boxes.
