Age: Appears fourteen, actually 29 years old.


Occupation: Inventory Manager. He ensures the school is stocked up on whatever magical dohickies it needs at the time.

Personality: He is a well meaning man who always tries to do his best by others in the best way he knows how. Unfortunately the ways he knows how aren't actually the best that there are. He fumbles his words all the times, constantly second guessing himself and how he says things. Often times he makes things worse by trying to fix them, making insults out of otherwise normal phrases people wouldn't think twice about.

Once he gets to know you he will be a little bit more confident in how he speaks, though still try not to step on any toes. 

He loves helping people, but doesn't want to accept help himself. This can result in him telling a lot of half truths and not letting them get too close if they are truly insistent on helping. 







History:

He was born a dude. A regular dude. Unaware with his privilege that a regular dude brought him, ungrateful for it. But all of that changed when the vampire attacked. Realization of what he was came slowly, but when it did his parents were disgusted by him.

His parents wanted nothing to do with the creature he had become, and eventually threw him out. His father became a vampire hunter, and Ozaki has to keep vigilant at all times just in case he shows up. He struggled for a long time in the world, until he met someone who helped him on his feet and start living a somewhat normal life. Well. As normal as he could live being what he was now.

He eventually graduated from Eldritch Academy, starting to work in the inventory department and ensuring that the vampire ilk of the academy had enough blood to sustain themselves without hunting. But he wanted more. He wanted to make a difference.

He wanted to dedicate himself to trying to help minority creatures like himself gain headway in the world. Unfortunately for them all. He has never been a dude of eloquence. His words often fall short of what they need to be, and land in the zone of disastrous. To this day he still looks for a cure for how to fix himself.

He got that chance recently in being appointed the Spokesperson of PMS. He is utterly unaware of the fact he was primarily made the spokesperson of this club as a joke. And that there are those in the academy who laugh at his buffoonish attempts to do good.


UPDATE: 
The previous history was written through Ozaki's perspective, and as such lacked many details of how and why he was turned. As of the past year, he has learned much more about the circumstances behind his turning. 

Back when he was human he had a vampire friend named Meggi, the fact she was one completely eluded him. But it did not elude his father, Yuuto. Who took measures of extreme prejudice upon discovering this. It wouldn't be until years later that Yuuki would find out that his father had actually murdered her, having been a murderous bigot long before Yuuki was ever turned. 

Meggi's sire, Mordred, came shortly after her murder with every intent to slaughter the entire family. But when he came, only Yuuki was there. He very nearly killed the boy after tearing him apart, but came to his senses and turned him to save his life. He left afterwards, then forgot in his grief for his lost daughter and his legendary terrible memory. 

That left Ozaki on his own, healing from the wounds Mordred had given him. And absolutely ravenous. When his mother came home he tore her apart in his hunger, and did not snap out of it in time quickly enough to save her from the blood loss. 

When his father came home... If he disliked Meggi, he loathed what his son had become. Ozaki fled his home and lived homeless for six months, a massive case of hemophobia making it hard for him to feed properly. Often times he'd go into a berserk feeding frenzy when he did finally feed, contributing to a vicious cycle where he just got more and more afraid of his new vampirism and blood. 

He looked for Meggi during those months, feeling she might be the only one willing to help him. Unknowing of the fact that she had long since been taken from the world. 


School history:
The story behind Ozaki becoming a student would not be considered the traditional one by any means. His first introduction to the Academy was after he had attempted, and failed, to hunt one of their professors. They literally hefted him over their shoulder and marched him over to the Admission’s desk, insisting that if he were going to be hunting people, he better do it the right way.

Ozaki was hesitant at first, but in hearing that he would both be given a place to stay and fed, accepted. Before this he had been barely scraping by as homeless as he was.

He chose the Cobalt dorm, and went down the Master Hunter track. While he had been far more interested in the Master Guardian track, he could not deny his natural inclinations towards the hunt.

His primary methods involve either ambush or usage of his hypnotism. More oft than not he will more aim to disable and subdue than actually kill. Though naturally, given the track, he does know how to handle himself in a face to face fight, its just not his natural tendency.

Name of Species: Vampire

Baseline Dimension: Vampires share their height range largely with humans ranging typically from 5-7 feet tall. Weight is less for Vampires averaging between 80-120lbs due to their blood diet.

Baseline Appearance: Vampires resemble humans in many appearance regards, possessing many of the same hair and eye colors. However, the Vampire species is much paler than human's deathly pale, possess claws, fangs and can sometimes bat wings or devilish tails.

Culture/Origin of Species: Vampires originated from a tribe of humans, over many generations they lived secluded on an island nation, feeding only on their elderly tribe members. Over generations their bodies had adapted to this diet, when a couple of members of their tribe left for more resourceful countries they found that they were craving the blood and flesh of the humans.


Traits:
• When any Vampire bites someone of the human species, the venom in their fangs transforms that individual into another vampire.
• Compared to other species, Vampires can go a very long time without consuming anything even blood due to already being dead the little metabolism being undead gives them is extremely slow, burning food slower than snakes.
• Vampires are capable of utilizing bats in whatever ways they desire, communication, minions, etc.
• Vampires are capable of flight outright or transforming into a bat in order to fly if it so pleases.
• Short of being staked in the heart, bitten by a were-creature, fed garlic or too many other plants, they are immortal falling unconscious instead of dying if damaged to the point of death.
• To an extent all Vampires are capable of 'hypnotizing' other species whom stare into their eyes for too long, these subjects remain hypnotized until released or separated from the vampire for over a day.(Permission is needed on Played Characters, and any important NPC's)
• Able to limitedly manipulate blood when it's outside of someone's body, mostly into shapes or such.
• Vampires age at a much slower rate than humans.


Flaws:
• While not all go around fearing Garlic all Vampires are extremely allergic to the plant and anything bore from it, having a deathly reaction when exposed.
• Vampires tend to avoid Weres because the bite of any Werecreature is a deathly poison to Vampires.
• The species is rather easy to identify if someone knows the fact they possess no reflections, which also means it's hard for them to hide what they are in many day to day situations unless they're careful.
• All Vampires are unable to digest plant matter and have violent reactions if they consume any actual plants.
