Personality:
Astrid is a very sheltered girl. Growing up sealed away in a church she is unaware and naive to the great dangers that surround her on a daily basis. This wasn't helped by her teachings, as she was taught to see the good in everything.
She can be seen as childish in this sense, an embodiment of purity and wonder. Every sight she comes across is new and interesting. It is not bad in every way, however. As a woman of the church people seem to trust and respect her due to her title alone. They are less likely to fight her, may it be physically or using words. She is a pacifist by nature, but with her training with her mentor, is she aware of her power and will use it if necessary.

Astrid lives to help others. It is her journey, after all. Despite her air-headedness it only ended up giving her a heart of gold in return.
Help the weak, eliminate the evil. Her way of thinking couldn't be more simplified than that.

History:
"A cursed maiden will challenge the Gods themselves to bring back the snuffed light."

It was a prophecy given by the goddess of light, Minako, for her following. A prophecy that the group had been waiting for, for almost seventy two years. Seventy two years of silence, now broken. It was finally time for a new sibyl.
Immediately the following searched all across Mistere for their chosen prophet. It took days, months, years. The search was no easy task, looking for the vague description they were given. However, on one fateful day they finally found the maiden. A young child, Astrid Faust. A poor soul dumped into an orphanage after the father dipped on her and the mother too horrified at what she had given birth to to even try and raise her. What was so horrifying? One might ask. Upon the surface Astrid was like any other child. Short, cute, lean. Pretty healthy. But it didn't take the following long to realize why, and what cursed exactly it was. One of the members, a weretiger by the name of Sirius, embraced the girl as she began to cry, breaking down into tears in fear of being rejected once more. Upon contact the girl vanished in a puff of smoke, and in her place laid a pure white rooster. A strange cursed indeed. Whenever she would go under large amounts of stress or was hugged by a member of the opposite sex the poor girl would turn into a animal. Quite the predicament, but by the same token it had allowed the following to know they had the right one. They had their sibyl.
Astrid was taken into the church and raised by them. Astrid was not allowed outside of the church in fear she would be targeted by opposing groups, so she was kept inside the church's walls at all times. The group taught her all there was to know. Home schooling, in other words. Monsters. math, literature, everything people would normally learn at school. Though, of course the religious lessons greatly outnumbered the rest.
During this time Astrid and Sirius grew close. Sirius was concerned that the young girl was not getting to taste the outside life. It would leave her blind, foolish, naive. So in her free time, Sirius would sneak her out. He taught and showed her all the things the church members refused to even touch upon, even going so far as to teaching her how to fight. If they one day wished to send her out into the world to spread Minako's good word he thought she should be able to at least fend off a pervert or two. He taught her his own talent, Aura. A mythical, yet magical power that turned her living essence into raw power.

At the ripe age of twenty Astrid was finally allowed to leave the church to spread their goddess' word. With nothing but the clothes on her back and her power she stepped forward and never looked back.

Culture/Origin of Species: The most basic of species yet the strongest, humans have been around for hundreds of years and play a major part in history. The outnumber every other species, and it's common to see families with one human and one mythical creature as the parent. Humans cannot pinpoint their origin due to how long they have been on this land for.

• Humans have a natural affinity for magic based on the basic elements, nature, electricity, fire, earth, water, air and metal. This gives them strength when using the elements and resistance against them. From these elements humans naturally have 3 resilience aspect points.
