Yuuki Asahi was walking along the streets of Mysterie with his unconscious sire slung over his shoulder. It looked a little ridiculous, watching a teenage boy carrying a man in his mid-twenties like that. But any time someone gave him a strange look he just flashed his Master Hunter badge and muttered something about him being a bounty. Asahi would have kept his straight forward path right to his home had he not seen something peculiar within an alley way.

Inglisse silently lurked about the Mystopolis streets that night, thirst and an odd ‘hunger’ fueling her. She knew she could restrict the newfound cravings somewhat, but the instinct to hunt still drove her into the moonless night. In an alleyway, a shady human woman was found. Not wanting to attack her for blood and risk getting caught, then potentially expelled from the academy, dark shadows from her talent quickly engulfed the woman. They muffled her shouts and whisked her off to a ‘safe’ location, isolated and secure in her old laboratory under the witch’s shop. The woman would have her blood drained, then any remaining parts would be useful for science.
After the deed was done, the blonde recognized the presence of a nearby nighttime wanderer carrying another figure on his shoulder. He was the one from the blood drive she had donated to, fancy him being out hunting. How nice, he was taking his drunk friend home for the night. Amber eyes only gazed at him with a neutral expression. She was curious as to how he had taken to her blood if he had been one of the ones to consume it. Perhaps he was the next target of her research.

Yuuki had only glanced in the direction of Inglisse, but upon realizing she was another vampire he paused for a moment, pulling out a dart from one of his pouches and without even a word of warning, throwing it at her. As he threw it the red fluid within changed into a clear substance that would knock her out immediately upon impact. He only had so much time with Mordred like this, but if he could get this one within his limited window of spare time it’d be worth it to get another vampire scum off the streets.

The instant he reached into the pouch, Inglisse was even more on guard. The dart came flying towards her, the red liquid visible inside changing to a clear substance. In response, the girl quickly dodged, managing to narrowly miss it. She was not the most physically capable person and wanted to avoid using her talent if at all possible. “Given your reaction to me seeing you, I doubt that you’re just carrying a drunk friend back to his home,” she speculated, amber eyes glaring at the young man. He seemed much different from when she had last seen him. She could guess many reasons as to why.

“This over-glorified leech is no friend of mine.” He was repulsed at the very notion that someone could mistake the two as friends. The words alone were enough to tempt him to drop kick the limp body in the stomach. But Asahi was hesitant to let go of him lest the other vampire take it upon themselves to save the sire from his unsavory fate.
“You should be much more worried about yourself you blood sucking vermin.” Asahi sneered at her, unconsciously baring his currently filed down fangs at her. He drew out another dart, altering the make up of it to have at least 25% of his blood remaining inside of it, the rest of it being the sedative. In this way he would be able to manipulate the dart while it was in the air to hit its target. He threw the black blood marked dart.
Black blood. Black blood. This wasn’t right. Something was wrong… That’s what his talent was whispering to him anyways. But he didn’t care for what it was muttering about right now. What effects it was listing off. He didn't feel an inch of doubt in his actions right now, he felt righteous. It was the most wonderful feeling in the world.
