“You’ve seen my talent, back when I gave Mister Peckings a nervous system,” Inglisse responded abruptly and nonchalantly. She only casually observed Oras for any visual response to her noting of that time which he had seemed to disapprove of. “It’s not the best for sparring, as you’ve seen.”
Her talent was better attuned for science and research. However, she was still capable of defending herself by use of deadly quick-killing abilities. That, and if something actually managed to kill her, she’d be both impressed and thankful. She preferred that Oras did not know too much about her talents. If something ever happened one day, she did not need him knowing all her battle secrets.
He then went on to comment that he was still planning to guard her dormitory and room. “I know,” she replied. “As long as you’re the only one making threats, I’m ‘safe’.”

Hearing her words Oras closed his eyes and smiled calmly. “This is true, I did see you use your talent. Though I suspect there’s a lot more to it than just that. At any rate I suspect it would be an interesting topic. Whenever you’re up for discussing it, I will gladly listen.” While it was true that he had been unnerved at first, it was primarily due to his memories of the Baskerville experimentations. In particular their cruel ones towards him and other innocent and tortured individuals. He hadn’t hated her talent or what she was doing with it. It had simply acted as a trigger for a time and place that filled him with rage. When she mentioned how it wasn’t the best for sparring he chuckled. “All the same, you don’t need a talent to spar now don’t you? I will always be here to guard and protect you, but I’d prefer it if you could defend yourself properly. If you claim to have that capability, I would love to see it first hand. It is not that I do not believe nor trust you, but that I’m eager to see what my summoner is capable of.” Upon her final comment he smiled sadly. “Yes.”
