welcome to Eldritch Academy
In a world of myths and mysteries, the pinnacle of the magical academies exists. Eldritch Academy offers education to all ages and species but specializes in the study and training of one's innate mystical capabilities, often called Eldritch Energies, Powers, or Unknowns, but more formally known as their Talent. However, tensions run high with the nations only holding a fragile peace as the Talents that rival the epitomes of technology change the balance of power.
With the more recent uprising of evil Shades and introduction of combat-oriented programs into Talent-focused schools, nations grow more aggressive towards one another. The demand for resources grows, and skirmishes at the border of Arka and Mistere become more frequent. Monsters run into the nations from the Wildes, terrorizing villages and cities. The need for trained or in-training Hunters and Guardians has never been more urgent.

For the briefest of moments Ozaki looked repulsed by the question before straightening his expression back out to semi-normal, as if trying to hide he'd made the face at all. “Aaaah…” He was a vampire, so he guessed that was natural to ask. And he supposed as a dragon she had likely eaten her fair share of people. Of course. Plenty of people were the type to go around trying to slay dragons. Of course there were also plenty of dragons that went about trying to eat people for the fun of it. Which side of the coin had Cyn been on?
Currently Ozaki was wishing he’d used something a little bit stronger to keep her sedated. Perhaps there had been something she had done to deserve this curse after all. But he couldn’t make assumptions just yet. “Don’t eat people. There’s much better food there.” He nodded when she said they should get going, beginning to lead the way towards the teleportation pad. “Eldritch Academy’s one of the biggest and best schools in the world. All sorts of species go there. Though I guess I should ask. Does your species of dragon need to eat people by their diet or something? I mean, I know you’re…. Different now. But some of those things might carry on into this form.”
The Academy took in all sorts, and as such it was natural that it was able to feed those people. Which meant, yes, amongst the many things stocked in the warehouse, dead humans were amongst them. Their bodies had been acquired legally for the most part… Organ donors who did not specify where their bodies went after death might just find themselves in Eldritch Academy’s warehouse.

The response she got from Ozaki was probably something she should've expected, but it didn't stop Cyn from frowning slightly at the expression he gave her. She sighed and rolled her eyes as he told her not to eat people. "Relax, little vampire. I know your kind doesn't taste that good. It was only a joke." She said again, this time accompanied by a slight chuckle. Ozaki seemed oddly passive for a vampire, which was both strange and slightly irritating for Cyn. From what she had heard his species wasn't exactly the kindest. They fed on the flesh of the living, just like Cyn did. Of course, her diet was pretty standard. She ate whatever she could find, be it pesky mortals trying to slay her, their livestock, or on occasion a rather big fish whenever she decided to cruise the coastline. Raw or cooked, it didn't really matter to Cyn, so long as it was meat. Of course, she wasn't just going to tell Ozaki that, she wanted to see how much fun she could have with the little vampire first, and find out more about him in the process. The longer he spoke, the more Cyn began to feel as though he had nothing to do with her situation. It could've all been an act, of course, but she had the feeling that this vampire's peaceful nature was genuine. She couldn't imagine a person like that working for the people that did this to her.
As Ozaki began to lead the way to the teleportation pad, Cyn struggled to get up. She still had no idea how to operate this new body fully, so when she wobbled to a stand, she almost instantly fell again, her legs shaking. It took a few minutes, and Cyn needed to grab a steel rung as a walking stick just to keep herself balanced. However, she eventually made it to her feet and began to slowly but surely follow behind the vampire. When Ozaki asked her what her diet as a dragon was, she smiled darkly. "Oh, you know. The usual. Dragon slayers, adventurers, villagers, knights, princesses. All of which need to be alive, mind you." She said with a laugh. It was obvious she was joking just like before, but her sense of humor was enough to tell what kind of person she was. To a degree anyways.
Ozaki had no idea just how much Cyn wanted to slaughter him and everyone else in this world right now. If there was one thing she learned in that lab, it was how to hide her emotions....

As if he was just worried about that. Ozaki was going to have to take her through Eldritch Academy. Currently he was glad he still had that dart stashed up one of his sleeves. But she seemed intelligent enough not to go off just eating anyone. Despite his hesitance, when he heard her struggling to walk, he of course turned right around to help.
There was of course no way Ozaki would just keep walking in hearing her struggle so much with standing, never mind walking. He turned around and offered her a hand. “I can help if you want.” If she accepted he’d even go so far as being a makeshift crutch to walk on, if she permitted anyways.
When she made the joke about eating all those types of things he laughed along with her, a little less nervous than before. At least that was he was trying to give the impression of. Vampires were known to drink the blood of humans, if he acted too strange about it it might make him look weird. He was trying to keep an open mind here. She had not lived as part of their society before, undoubtedly her only experience of it had been hunters like him trying to kill her. Maybe her opinion of their world would change if she got to experience it first hand…
However long that lasted. “Then again… Maybe your new stomach will have different dietary needs.” Her body was kind of mostly human right now. When she started being consumed by The Blight however…

As Cyn struggled to stand, she welcomed the help of Ozaki as he came over and used himself as a crutch. She may have been an extremely proud person, but Cyn knew she wasn't going to make it far in this new world if she didn't at least pretend to make some allies. Even if she was going to betray them all in the end. She let the kid hoist her up and she used her arm around his shoulders to keep herself steady. "Thanks." She grunted, trying to keep her balance as the two trudged on wards through the night. With a sigh of relief, she managed to stay mostly balanced. Hopefully she'd figure out how to walk without the aid of someone else soon, otherwise her plan wouldn't go very far. As they walked out of the ruin, Cyn noticed a few things. The stoned corpses of scientists who perished in the explosion. It was a good thing they had suffered. She wasn't sure what mistake they had made to cause the entire lab to explode so violently, but she was glad that they burned for it. Looking on while they walked, Cyn seemed distracted for a moment. Her thoughts rushing to see the entire world's civilization crumble like this ruin. Through fire and blood, Cyn would make sure they all burned...
By the blood of the one she lost, that was an oath.
She blinked again and returned her attention to Ozaki when he spoke up about her diet again. She was glad he had bought her joke. It was only partly a joke after all. She had eaten many of his kind before, even when they weren't a threat to her. And why should she need an excuse to? They were all insects scurrying around on her land. She had the right to do what she wanted with her subjects, even if they didn't know it. Their feelings were irrelevant on that matter. Cyn had made up her mind, and no kidness shown to her by these beings would change it. She had seen them for what they truly were. Disgusting, murderous, literal blood thirsty mongrels who were determined to make the world bow to them. She would remind them who their ruler truly was before she incinerated all of them, leaving only ruins like this as their memory. The world would be more peaceful and quiet than ever before.
"I'm not entirely sure what you mean. I don't feel any different in terms of dietary needs." She told him truthfully. She could really go for a steak right now though. Speaking of food made Cyn realize how hungry she still was.
"So uh... Does this place have food by any chance?"

He was really debating right now what to do with her. The fact that she had eaten people in the past was clear. He was worried she may try and continue the pattern. If she had to that was perhaps something he couldn’t judge… But it was also something he couldn’t particularly accept if she went after innocent people or Eldritch Academy students. Plus, he was half certain she was joking about needing to eat people in particular. He’d test it out first if he didn’t just dart her entirely.
He felt kind of terrible stereotyping her like this… but she had basically admitted to killing already. He’d also feel bad for actually doing anything to her now. She was alone and in a strange new body with no idea how it even worked. It was a situation too similar to his own for him to turn his back now.
When Ozaki saw the skeletons he had to pause a moment. Lets see. Burnt down building. Charred to the bone skeletons. A newly made draconian. The pieces weren’t hard to put together. Killing these guys had likely been one of her last acts as a dragon.
“It does. We can swing by the lunch room if you can wait that long… Though if… Aaahh… Well I have some elemental newts on me. But don’t think you’d want those… Or to eat them. I don’t mean offense. Its just… Literally the only thing I have right now. I mean I have a blood pack but… I doubt that’d be enough.” He was rambling now, he really had to stop before he started sounding like an idiot.
He was feeling a bit squeamish being around the human remains. It was a bonus that they weren’t bloody. But still… He felt like he couldn’t just leave them here… Charred bones were too valuable of an occult resource to just leave lying in the middle of a forest. Ozaki would have to return later for them. There were too many to collect now anyways and Cyn took priority. If he didn’t get them at some point his boss would turn him into a rabbit and chase him around the warehouse. Again.
She was less the type to ask why and more why not. Which was great considering the methods he used to ensure the school had enough blood for their hemophages were a bit shady. But bad in that if his boss heard he’d left a whole house full of unclaimed charred skeletons just sit there, or if he just buried them… She wouldn’t be happy.
Ozaki started walking again, realizing he had stopped in his thinking about the dead bodies. Cyn had likely been here for awhile, but that didn’t mean they could just linger for too long without getting her treatment.

Cyn tilted her head as the vampire began to ramble on about the possible food he could provide her, and the struggle he had after realizing he had nothing. Nothing he suggested sparked Cyn's interest. She had no idea what 'Elemental Newts' were, but they didn't sound appetizing at all. In fact, just hearing the name caused the Draconian's nose to scrunch up in displeasure. However, he did mention a blood pack. Normally a single human didn't host nearly enough blood to satisfy a dragon of her stature. However, she wasn't a dragon anymore. She had no idea how this new body would react to the food she normally ate, but the serving sizes were probably very different. She couldn't imagine eating an entire herd of livestock in this pitiful body. A side effect of the dreaded curse.
"Blood sounds... Appetizing." Cyn said somewhat eagerly, her longer dragon-like tongue licking her lips ever so slightly. She couldn't lie to her or Ozaki if she said she wasn't starving. Gods knows how long she was buried in that ruin, and this new form was already screaming at her to have its needs met. SHe just hoped this vampire knew what he was doing. If she didn't have a broken wing she wouldn't even be talking to him right now, but Cyn was stuck with him for now. He was the only thing that could help her get on her feet and come to terms with this strange new world. She'd stick with him for as long as it took.
The dragon noticed Ozaki eyeing the remains of the scientists before crossing her arms. "Don't feel bad for them, little vampire." She started. "They deserved every last bit of it. The things they used to do in this lab... It makes me shudder to think of what they would've done to others." Cyn lied. She couldn't care less what they did to anyone, she only remembered what they had done to her. "It's people like this that put me in this position." She said again, stepping over the charred remains of a scientist. "There are two kinds of people in this world... The kind of people who would use others for their own selfish desires, no matter the consequences." The dragon hissed as she leaned down and picked up a charred skull, tossing it to Ozaki's hands. Even reduced to nothing but blackened bones, there was a sense of terror that still permeated the object. The lingering feelings of the being before their demise. Cyn walked behind Ozaki, her long dragon tail curling around him. "And the kind who would put their own ambitions aside to help those in need." Cyn said. She rested her hands on the Vampire's shoulder and leaned down, whispering in his ear. "I wonder what kind you are." She chuckled. "Just know that the former normally doesn't meet a happy ending." She said again, staring at the skull for a moment before straightening up again and turning to the path.
Despite Ozaki's actions towards her, Cyn wasn't entirely trusting of him just yet. She wanted to make that much clear to the vampire as much as possible...

The half a liter pack he had on him would likely not be enough if she could actually drink from it. It would only have a measly calorie count of four hundred fifty. Each draconian was different with its origins. Meaning research on any individual one might not apply to the next. Ozaki did not know Cyn’s caloric needs, but he did know that she was likely starving right now.
Then again. With as many times as Nyx had fed on him, he had a good handle on how to make blood devil venom at this point. He’d been feeding a blood devil about twice a day for awhile now. That half a liter might as well be five liters. The bag itself was not large enough to carry that much, but so long as she gave it back to him before she drained it, he could keep filling it. Ozaki probably wouldn’t get as much as five liters out of it considering the blood that the venom forced to divide to extreme rates could not keep dividing after a certain point. Ozaki hadn’t exactly thought to bring a water bottle or any other kind of drinking container with him.
Maybe he should start carrying one? He already carried so much on him usually though…
This time when she called him little vampire he just resigned himself to it. He guessed that was a thing now. His bats still called him Little Bat, even after all his insisting, and at times ordering, to the contrary. Such an order only lasted so long apparently when they really thought the name was appropriate.
He caught what she tossed out of him, only out of impulse though. Ozaki quickly dropped it before his squeamishness could get the best of him. They were human remains. Ozaki dealt with all sorts of corpses with this job. Human ones just felt different though. His boss was a kitsune though… She would not particularly care of the awkwardness this would present later once she heard about the skeletons. She’d send him right back out to fetch them. He’d do it now given that. But Cyn took higher priority than six charred skeletons that were obviously not going anywhere.
Given her inevitable fate Ozaki fully supported their current fully roasted status. As Cyn curled around him he felt himself tense up slightly at the proximity of the woman. He could even feel her breath breeze past his ear. Nope. Nope nope nope. This was not the time or place to be thinking anything like that. She was heavily injured, cloths a mangled mess, and covered with ash and rubble of the building that had fallen on her. The fact she was well endowed with fine features should be the last thing on his mind right now.
Damn it all sometimes he hated this teenage body.
“Ahh… I guess I’m the second. But I wouldn’t really say there’s only two people though. I mean people say that a lot about a lot of different things.” There were two types of people in the world. Victims and survivors. There were two kinds of people in the world. Those that rose up and those that were the stepping stones for those people. Predator and prey. Strong and weak.
All the ones he could think of now were on that theme. She probably wouldn’t take him on his word that he had said that… Indeed that’d probably been a rhetorical statement. He pulled out a blood pack from one of the internal pockets of his trench coat, one that he kept chilled in order to maintain the freshness of the blood within.
It didn’t taste as good when it was cold of course. Microwaving it was the worst idea in the world. And boiling it didn’t really get it to the right temperature either. Really any attempt to heat it up was a cheap attempt at the real rush of drinking it actually fresh from someone’s neck… By Ambrogio’s blood damn it. He had to stop thinking that. It was just harder after his most recent slip up. The memory was fresh on his mind, and as much as he might try to ignore it it took little provocation to bring it back.
He started walking again himself, handing Cyn the plastic blood pack. There was a label on it marking it as coming from Eldritch academy, and it listened information such as Blood type and other various things. Naturally there was a barcode on it as well. He unscrewed the cap on top before handing it over to make it easy to drink from. “I guess you could try it and see if it works… If it does just hand it back to me when you get it to half way. I can fill it back up a few times if you don’t think that will be enough.” He was certainly thinking it wouldn’t be, if this were possible for her to drink.

Cyn didn't hesitate when the vampire suggested she could try it. She knew the risks, but didn't care. After all, how risky could it have possibly been? Cyn was a DRAGON for crying out loud, blood was as regular in her diet as meat. To be concerned over a little blood packet was ridiculous. She quickly plucked the cold plastic bag from his hand and observed it for a second. The thick, dark, liquid within swirled in response to the sudden forces of motion and Cyn's stomach instantly growled. She didn't really know HOW hungry she had been until she saw the blood in her hands. Without much care for decency, Cyn quickly bit off a corner of the bag with her sharp draconic teeth and held it in her mouth. She raised it above her head and simply chugged. Squeezing the bag as the blood flowed down into her body... It was saltier than she remembered.
A few moments later the bag was empty and Cyn finally took it out of her mouth, giving a large sigh of relief as a few drops trailed the edges of her lips. She looked at Ozaki with straight in the eyes and told him. "Thanks... Though I don't think it's enough." She said. Truth be told that blood packet was probably more than enough for her at the moment, but dragons were known for their greed... And Cyn was no exception. She hoped he had more on him, or if not he'd be willing to give her more when they arrived at this Eldritch Academy. Maybe he would, based on his reaction to her so far. Cyn couldn't claim to know him, but he did seem rather uncomfortable around her when she got close. Maybe it was fear? Understandable, given their size difference, but then again Cyn was pretty much defenseless, and she had no idea what this Ozaki was capable of.
The dragon would follow the vampire through the woods towards the teleporation pad, as he called it. A curious eye on their surroundings. Not only out of fear, but also out of curiosity. She was certainly not used to her current size, so seeing the world from this height definitely a new experience. Funny how perspective changes with size. She wondered what sort of person Ozaki thought she was... And how far it was from her true form.
"I'm sure you have more experience with people in this world than I do." Cyn started, a long overdue response to his comment on her own thoughts. "Yet I feel like no matter what they do in life, they all fall into one of those two categories. That doesn't mean they aren't other things as well... Like thieves or murderers." She said in a somewhat darker tone. It was obvious Cyn had experience with that sort at least.

Upon realizing she had no intention on handing the blood bag back he of course realized that he did not even need her to do that at all for his talent to work. He simply turned a portion of the blood into blood devil venom and let her devour it. There was no time to allow the blood to expand with the venom, so instead it would expand while it was in her stomach to about 4.25 liters.
“You’ll probably start to feel a bit fuller in a couple of minutes.” Ozaki replied to her statement of hunger.
He could not be certain of her dietary requirements, since every draconian was different based on what kind of species they had been before and at what point they were in their degration. But there was a way to figure out rather quickly what kind of food she’d be able to eat… And potentially an estimate of how much she could eat in a meal.
Don’t do it. That’s a stupid idea. Ozaki thought to himself. This was clearly someone a little shady. Someone who had eaten people before… But could he really judge? He’d done that himself. Really don’t do it Ozaki. Don’t. This is probably a terrible idea.
“After we get your wing treated I know a good buffet we could try. That could help us figure out a bit more of what you can and can’t eat in this new body of yours. I don’t have any more blood on me… But that is an idea.” Aaaah man. He did it. Oh dear.
Thievery and murder. Yah… Ozaki himself could not say he did not have experience with those kinds of things. His earlier time as a vampire had been filled with more than a few shredded corpses. And after a certain point… He had figured what point was there in leaving their cash with them? He needed it more than they did.
Ozaki wasn’t proud of those things though. Unlike Cyn seemed to be saying. She practically seemed to be bragging about it. Then again. She could be talking about people who had tried to steal from her hoard in the past or people who had tried to kill her. She’d view those as murderers. But no. She’d already brought up eating people and enjoying it. He was going to have to try and draw a line here, though he tried to do it mildly as he could in an attempt not to upset her in some way. “Look… I get as a dragon that kind of stuff may not have been a big deal… I mean for you anyways. But unless you’re going to go out living in the woods again after your wing gets fixed… Not that there’s a problem with that… But… I mean even if that, you probably shouldn’t go spouting that kind of stuff.”
Dragons needed a lot of space, so they weren’t typically city dwellers unless they were the smaller breeds or the ones capable of changing their size and appearance.

The vampire was right, Cyn was starting to feel oddly fuller than before. She wasn't exactly sure why, but the small amount of blood she had just consume now felt 4 times as bigger than before. Not that Cyn was full or anything, it would still take considerably more substance to do that, but she could admit that her hunger pains had ceased... For now anyways. "Oohhh... Yeah, you're right... What did you put in that?" The dragon questioned as she began to feel the liquid expand inside her. One hand clutched her stomach for a moment out of instinct. Perhaps this little vampire was more useful than the drake had originally thought. He had already proven to be resourceful, numbing the pain of her wing and feeding the dragon. Not only that, but offering to help her as well when most would likely avoid the dragon or use her for other purposes. It was nice to not be treated as a hostile, but Cyn was going to make sure she didn't get used to this feeling. While Ozaki may be genuine in his intentions, there was no way Cyn could know for sure. Not until they reached their destination and he actually did everything he said he would. Until that point however, Cyn would keep her guard up. This could still be some sort of trap, and she wasn't keen on being caught in it.
The dragon's suspicions were temporarily quelled though when Ozaki mentioned something called a "buffet". She had never heard the term, but the vampire seemed confident it could help her out with discovering what she could and couldn't eat. While Cyn was confident she knew what she was capable of eating, she wasn't about to turn down the chance at free food. "Yes, that sounds like an excellent idea, little vampire. Your magic blood may have expanded, but this body's appetite still yearns for more." She said, licking her lips at the thought of more food.
Cyn could do little more than roll her oddly coloured eyes when Ozaki tried to warn her not to go around and make her previous diet public knowledge. "Ironic... Coming from a vampire." She hissed in response. While it was true Ozaki seemed like a kind hearted kid, she couldn't deny the fact that he was still a vampire. Even if he didn't drink the blood of the living, chances are he would've done so at some point. However, he was still right. Cyn was incapable of defending herself if others thought she was a danger, plus trying to eat them in this form seemed like it would pose... Challenges. "You don't need to worry about me, kid. I am fine with eating the dead just as much as the living."

What did he put into it? Something his boss had recommended to keep on the down low given the implications of having a substance that could multiply blood by tenfold. Blood was on average worth about 145 bucks per pint at wholesale value. The ability to increase it to such extreme levels through the blood devil venom was a little crazy if you looked at the financial implications. This little fact about the species hadn’t even hit the text books yet, seeing as Ozaki himself had been on the research trip about it, and it just hadn't gotten published officially yet.
It was potentially something he shouldn’t just be using to fill up a draconian’s stomach a bit more but… Hey. What use was his talent if he couldn’t use it to help people anyhow? “Trade secret?” He offered with a weak smile. Oh dear. That might make her more curious. Oh well… He’d have to deal with that later.
He grimaced at being called little vampire again, but the next words out of her mouth were more abrasive than the off handed comment. That level of vitrol came as an unpleasant surprise coming from someone who had already brought up eating people multiple times. Then again perhaps she had taken personal offense to him, a vampire of all people bringing it up. He grimaced as he tried to formulate a response. Fact of the matter was vampires did not have to kill their prey to eat it… Indeed it was within their benefit to not go killing people, lest it bring down the wrath of vampire hunters down on their heads.
Plus, they couldn’t drink dead man’s blood.
But him stating the fact that vampires didn’t have to kill to get their fill was… A bit hypocritical coming from him… Considering almost every time thus far he had drank from a person he slipped right into a lethal blood frenzy for his target. He’d stuck to exclusively blood packets for years specifically to avoid this troublesome habit of his… Of which he’d gotten an unfortunate refresher course of how very alive it still was.
Years without biting a single person, yet get a bite in and those cravings to taste those last dying breaths came right back to the forefront of his mind. It was all he could do to repress such cravings from popping up in incidents such as finding a bloodied and beaten draconian… Though the black blood was a clear warning to stay away. He wasn’t going to risk messing with that.
“Just saying you might want to keep a lid on that kind of talk when we get into the academy and the city. Most people don’t take well to hearing talk about eating people.” The only reason he could theoretically let it pass was he literally had no room to talk. Just as he said that an alabaster white circle on the ground with ruins carved into it could be spotted in the clearing ahead. It was a wide circle with a radius of around five feet. Funny how now she was backing off on the idea of having to eat live people... But odds were that had just been pulling his leg earlier now he thought of it. That may have just been a preference... Ozaki drew his hand through his hair as his mind drifted for a moment back to Annabelle. Eaten whole and alive by a dragon... No. Couldn't be. Even if she did have the same colored wings. That could easily be a coincidence. Annabelle... His heart ached at her memory.

The vampire was hesitant to tell Cyn what he had put into that blood to make it so filling. That was a bit troubling considering, but she didn't pay too much mind to it. If it was some type of poison or drug, she hoped her draconic traits of countering such effects were carried over to this new body of hers. She wasn't sure if that would be the case, though, so she'd need to be careful. One thing Cyn knew she'd need to do as soon as possible was find out as much as she could about this human body. In the past she paid no attention to the human composition. All she knew was that they were small and annoying. Past that though, Cyn could safely say she had no idea what she was forced into. Luckily she had already seemed to master some of the basic motor functions like walking. However, the biggest surprise to the draconian was the speech factor. When Cyn was a dragon she was incapable of vocal communication past a few growls and roars. The only way she could communicate was through telepathy, but most beings weren't able to use the power like she could, so to them she was often perceived as nothing more than an animal. Now, however, all her thoughts seemed to become words. Her tongue moved on its own and she spoke to her own surprise. It was an odd sensation to be sure... To hear her own voice. Something she was worried might become a problem in the future. If she didn't learn how to separate her thoughts and speech anyways...
Ozaki seemed a little taken back by her comment, and she'd expect no less. After all, what she implied was true, wasn't it? Cyn couldn't claim to be a master on Vampire knowledge, but she knew that they ate people. In fact, they were a lot more dangerous to other people than Cyn was considering people made up their entire diet. Cyn could eat just about anything, and in her dragon days she much preferred the more stupid, often bigger and tastier animals that roamed this world over the irritating humans with their petty magic and weapons. Not that it mattered much now, though. The dragon would just have to wait to see what kind of food these people really ate, and Ozaki seemed willing to show her.
"Right well, I'll promise not to eat anyone if you make sure they keep their distance. No offense but being close to one of your kind is bad enough... And I already know how it feels when they crowd in groups around me..." She said somewhat quieter, Cyn remembering her past experiences in the lab. Hours of being crowded by scientists sticking tubes into her skin and flashing bright lights into her eyes... Feeling their disgusting paws touching her... Smelling their hideous stenches so close to her... It was NOT an experience the dragon was keen on repeating.

Given the fact that in her prior life she sounded like a people eating dragon it was probably for the best she had never seen a city nor knew what it was like. But it did present a problem for sure, he’d have to make sure to keep a close watch on her while they were together. Even if she was being rather offensive. As much as Ozaki didn’t want to admit it… She probably was the type to eat people. And that wasn’t a joke. Again he couldn’t judge. But… “You should know most people are going to take offense to that kind of talk. Also… I’ll do what I can. And its night, so the streets should be less crowded… But there are a looooot of people in a city.”
When they reached the teleportation pad he muttered the incantation that took them back to the school. Suddenly they were in a vast room with multiple teleport pads with names of various places on placards next to them. He gave her a moment to adjust to her new surroundings before continuing on.

Ozaki continued to press his point about how dangerous Cyn could make her situation if she went about flaunting the fact that she had eaten people before. She couldn't get over the irony of who these warnings were coming from, but she had to admit that Ozaki was probably right. However, that didn't make the dragon any more comfortable after hearing what the vampire had said about the sheer amount of people she would need to expect once they made it into town. Something she definitely wasn't looking forward to.
"I couldn't care less if my words offend anyone, after all, your kind didn't seem too concerned about my feelings when they used me and my chi-" She stopped herself mid sentence, remembering her son... "Me and the 'others' as test subjects..." She spoke again.
Soon the pair made it to the teleportation pad. Cyn wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but she was prepared for the result. Or at least she thought she was. Within a flash she found herself in a new place almost entirely! Her oddly coloured eyes widened as she stared at the interior of the room they had just appeared in! To travel great distances in only an instant was not something Cyn had thought possible. Of course, with the likes of magic being present within their world she shouldn't have been surprised. Maybe she had just spent too much time in that cave... Ignoring the world as it grew without her. The dragon carefully looked around and saw other platforms like the one her and Ozaki were currently standing on flashing with light as people... Was this Ozaki's work? Or maybe the pad itself had a power he didn't? She couldn't be sure, but Cyn did notice the vampire mutter something under his breath before she found herself here. Her mind was intrigued to say the least. Cyn wondered what other types of things were possible with this magic the mortals coveted so much.
"Well... I certainly wasn't expecting this..." Cyn began, staring around the room with a mixture of awe and confusion on her face. "Is it you or the pad that did this?" She asked, looking down at Ozaki who stood beside her.

Ozaki frowned sympathetically as she mentioned her child, easily able to fill in the blanks for what she had been about to say. Of course. Odds are before now she would have had little reason to care about their kind. Even before said experiments, she had likely had hunters after her for a long time. “I’m sorry.” He muttered, not sure what else to say. He was hoping that he was making a much better impression than she may have previously seen.
If she so wished it she could go back to the wilderness, but that would be after her wings were healed. A good deal of dragons were solitary creatures, requiring vast stretches of land to feed themselves. If she wanted to return to that lifestyle he would not begrudge her that. But… Being the person he was he wanted to help her if he could. This was a new body, and having no one there to inform her of the changes she had undergone would be difficult.
“The teleportation pad did the work. There’s an incantation set for each one of them so not just anything or anyone can use them.” He had to know the incantation to trigger it of course, but it wasn’t that hard to remember one of those. “Plus. A teleport pad that was constantly on would drain a lot of energy… Ones that require an incantation are much more cost effective.”
He’d say as he started to move on. He already seemed a bit more at ease now that he was in familiar territory. So far as Ozaki was concerned, this school was his home.
