Happy Mother's Day(Ozaki/One other)

That moment when you tried to get a point across….and the first thing that happened was the person on the other end snickered and made a joke about the metaphor. The Nightmare would huff a bit with a slight frown as he shook his head. “It wasn’t supposed to be a joke. I was trying to get a point across,” he would say the calm of his other side vanishing as he a took a drink of the wine with a pout. It was sweet and kind of good. Anyway...In the end, the Nightmare wasn’t seriously hurt by the matter. He was just slightly annoyed the other was joking versus taking this all seriously. Though…he was acting odd anyway. Was this what was it called? Being drunk?

Rika wasn’t quite sure about that or how he felt about interacting with said state as the other latched onto his words about his own issues and of course poked. He kind of figured that would happen, but even so he wasn't prepared for it fully. Shifting uncomfortably in his seat, his frown would deepen. “I am not sure what exactly you want to know. I mean, I have issues, but don't we all?” Yeah no. It wouldn’t be that easy to get Rika to share. Not because he didn’t want to, but rather he didn’t even know where to begin or explain his situation. It was quite a mess and he wasn’t sure how comfortable he was sharing it with the other being like he was. Yes…the other had told him a lot and all, but he just was unsure right of many things right now and in turn didn't know what the right course of action was at the moment. Still he didn’t have a full shield up yet and had left the matter open to be poked at more, so maybe the other had a chance if he continued to ask his questions or poke.

“Well yes. I do have the tendency to dig due to my desire to just know. Perhaps I cross my boundaries or dig too much though…” He would rub the back of his head at that one as he kept an eye on the other who seemed to be slurring his words and such. Maybe he did dig too much, but did he really dig like a dog? Hmph. He never considered that before. And if his digging was being compared to a dog’s, then did that mean he need to back off or what? He’d consider that later when he didn’t have other things to think about. “It’s not that I don’t want to talk about it. It is more like I don’t know how to talk about it without going all over the place. That is why I asked what you want to know. As for the game….well I like games, but don’t know how to play this one I don’t think.” He’d tilt his head curiously at the other interested, but unsure where the guy was trying to go with this.

The Nightmare would consider what the other said about the game as he took another sip of his wine. “It seem simple enough. Alright let’s play,” he would say with a small smile as he placed his glass upon the counter once more. He would pause for a moment to look up at the ceiling in thought. “I choose… dare,” he would say looking back at the other curiously. Though on some inward level, he wondered if he was not perhaps playing into some form of trap the other had laid out for him under said game. Oh well no backing out of it now.

The Nightmare would hear the laugh, his stomach turning internally as intuition more or less told him that yes this was indeed a trap; however, he wasn’t afraid so much as genuinely interested in finding out what said trap was. It was true the guy could be plotting something malicious, but something was telling the Nightmare that maybe that was not the case and if he was wrong? Well, he would deal with that matter if it did come up. Regardless of internal thoughts, the Nightmare would remain rather calm on the outside, his breathing relaxed and the small smile still on his lips as he waited to hear what the other said. When the other did speak, the Nightmare’s golden eyes would narrow for a bit as he considered the dare posed. Did he understand stealing was “bad” in a fashion? Oh yes, he knew the consequences of entering a place without permission and taking something not his from all the books and other informative programs he had been exposed to as a child; however, there was one thing he was taught long ago that those programs did not teach: It was okay to steal in some cases. All you had to do is not get caught.

He would continue to think for a few seconds more before blinking and nodding. “Tell me where this house is and what the target is I am looking for looks like and I’ll be sure to try and get what you request. Though…if your plan was to ask me all along to do this, you could’ve just propose a business deal instead,” the Nightmare would say, his lips curling into an amused smile at how this had all turned out. He wondered if the other was expecting to get the last laugh out of such a request or a yes for that matter. Hmm. A mystery for late perhaps.
