It was day, noon to be precise. It was a time one would think to find families in the park or people enjoying the nature of the park or the flowers in the green house, but for one reason or another there wasn’t many if any at all out today. Though why was always a mystery. Perhaps people were too busy or maybe they had been scared off by the earlier rumble that had occurred there leaving a few hopping away hurt and one beat up yet satisfied guy laying in the middle of an grassy area surrounded by trees that provided shade.
This particular dark haired male was no fan of the sun. It was a bit uncomfortable being directly in it, but that was the norm for his kind. Though for the moment, he was ignoring the discomfort and simply enjoying said sun on his battered skin. Unlike a full breed vampire he didn’t have to worry about being turned to ash or what not from being in the sun too much and any ill effect from being in it too long took days being exposed to it to actually take effect anyway. He wasn’t bothered one bit and was kind of happy to be out of the stuffiness of the hotel he had been in for over a week as he tried to get some things settled.
He would’ve easily gone back to his original home, but the place needed some work before he could go back. The place kind of falling apart and being abused from the years he wasn’t there. Luckily, he had money saved up to hold him over until he could get said home fixed again and the business up and running. In the meantime, he would make due and get his exercise too boot since people still didn’t have the good sense to not piss him off or do dumb insulting things. The fight while it had scared most off had helped release some stress anyway. Stress from worry. About what one may ask? Well…
The dark haired male would tilt his head a bit his green eyes looking over to where another sat quietly on the grass, an umbrella in hand. This other person was a blonde and far from beat up. The only dirt on this one was on the free hand that had been slowly, but surely replanting a flower into a pot. The movement was elegant and the long haired blonde seemed pretty absorbed in his work not bothered by the fact there had been a fight earlier or the fact that there were no people now except them. This blonde was the beat up one's twin and a cause for much concern.
He had not too long ago got his other half back from a rather unpleasant individual. The event had been a headache all on its own, but he had to get his other half back. That individual was horrid anyway and had been pretty much killing the blonde for their own purposes. Now free the blonde was healing, but very slowly for their kind. The damage done to him far deeper than just an ordinary wound. The darker haired male had hoped to let the other heal i a more familiar place, but the hotel would have to do for now and being outside of said hotel was hopefully a welcome treat for the blonde. It was often hard to tell these days what the blonde thought though. He used to be so expressive, but now he was a wall of ice and silence.
It was upsetting, but he’d deal and work on getting his sibling back fully. For now though, he’d be happy if his legs would just heal. They were still bandaged and caused the other pain when walking too much. At least here, he could sit and enjoy nature for a bit. So that was a plus, right?
The dark haired male would sigh inwardly as he looked away and back at the sky only wanting to believe it was going to be alright in the end for them.
