Darksteel Sword and Armor
Concept:
A legendary magical weapon and set of armor created by an unknown smith from an unknown time. The Darksteel armor allows its wearer to command the forces of electricity and water, taking aspects of magic from the beast it was made from. A vicious deep water dwelling creature that could cause tidal waves and electric storms when it neared the surface. In addition to giving its user control over the elements, it also manifests within the hilt of the Darksteel blade. Only the owner of the blade can use this set of armor, and to become the owner is a painful and grueling process that mentally breaks most who attempt its test. Enhanced speed and strength are also a side effect of the armor's abilities, making it even more deadly than most magical armors.
Extra(s):
Armor does not need to be carried around, as it magically manifests around its wearer at their own will, so long as they are holding the Darksteel blade.
Positive Mechanics:
- Allows wearer enhanced speed and strength (+1 Speed, +2 Strength)
- Allows user to manipulate and summon lightning
- Allows user to manipulate and summon water
Negative Mechanics:
- Armor and abilities are bound to the Darksteel blade. If the user does not have the blade, they cannot summon the armor or use any of its powers. (This negative mechanic does not apply if the blade is lost while the user is already in the Darksteel armor set. Only before.)
