Human Appearance:
Personality: Morgan shares one thing in common with the very stereotype of dragon legends; merciless. Whether it be a harsh verbal lashing or putting someone on their rear end over something very minor, she will in a heartbeat and not care. She's very serious about every little thing, but is not a fool when it comes to what is taken seriously and what's being tossed about as a joke. With no casual bone in her body, she hardly is seen naturally carrying about a smile on her face unless there's a varying few exceptions. What they are... well that's top secret. Still, her hardened shell is more as well to her upbringing from the hatchling she was into the teacher now. What is plainly obvious in her very easy way of smiling is sword fighting. Though particularly her favorite form is through fencing, second in line being kendo, there's a very fluid feeling in the sport that makes her smile even on the worst of days she may be having. It's quick to fade as easy as it is to come, but those are reserved towards those whom take the sport as a joke.
Being that she is a dragon, appearance is simply nothing she has to worry about. Not that nobody has ever made clothing for story tall giant lizards anyway. Still, in a human state, she takes many interests in fashion and mentions to keep to something fitting for any real form of physical combat as well as something to which she can be easy to instruct her students without being uncomfortable in the types of clothing or footwear.
History: As a dragon, Morgan had been born and raised upon the higher mountains where the tops prove to be nearly impossible for most to survive. In a nest with several others both of and not of the same family, she grew up with the commodore of her scaled brothers and sisters regardless of blood relation or not. Even those whom appeared as though they were of other scale colors and types, she felt a form of kinship that kept her to their side and opposed to the races that trailed upon the ground. However, one day things changed for her. Resting within her nest in the calm of the storm, the sound of snow had woken her up from a slumber. A lone human had climbed his way to the top, not noticing the ice dragon curled in her sleep. She watched him venture, pulled together in bundles of cloth and wears to keep the cold from him. His body still shook from the lack of oxygen and the bitter air around him, but plating a flag on the summit. Nothing around him had shown he ventured to the top in anything but his own hands and feet. It was a marvel for her to see someone climb up such heights to accomplish a goal like this on his own. Then.. he collapsed. Thinking nothing of it, Morgan had come to his aide and carefully scooped him up and resting the unconscious human on her backside.
With little haste, she swooped down amongst a gathering of varying races of beings that were almost frightened by her arrival. Some screamed and ran, while others bared arms. Amused by the attempts, she only quietly removed the male from the back she'd carried him down from and set him before tents. Her large body had sunk to a peaceful laying state, showing she was only here to deliver a man whom bravely made his way to the top. Something amazing happened in response to her caring action. A sole human approached and his form shifted to that of another dragon! His attempts to communicate and understand the situation had been his goal, and after so, he helped to quickly teach her a means of form shifting. However, as an ice dragon, her form seemed to fit into the theme of winter and an accent bore left many confused by her words. She seemed to only be able to speak in an old tongue that very few could keep up with. What had later been proven to be Elizabethan speech, she was helped to fit into society, slowly molding herself into the feel of what being a human was about and with the image of that one man on a fateful day pushed her into trying things out and exploring her options. After some time of learning, Morgan discovered her unnatural talent with the sport of Fencing. Falling in love with it and others much like it. Studying into the sport and with few trophies and medals under her belt within only few years, the young dragoness was offered a job instructing others in the sport. Wanting to share the experience and pass on that which inspired her, she sought to try and do the same for others. Hoping at least one could see her for what she saw one do before her.
♦ SPECIES INFORMATION ♦
Name of Species: Ancient Dragon
Baseline Dimension: Dragon Form: They tend to be rather large, easily 100 feet or more, although exceptions are not impossible. Their weight can vary, albeit high numbers are naturally the most common.
Human Form: Generally fall under normal human heights, but many seem to carry over some extra weight from their dragon form, making them unusually heavy for a human. Easily four times a typical human weight, or more.
Baseline Appearance: Dragon Form:
Typically possess a more rugged appearance, their hide or scales being a thick protection layer. Most commonly, they exhibit muted coloring, such as blacks, greys or other darker colors, aside from their eyes, which take on brighter colors. Wings and horns are usually present, but are not a mandatory feature.
Human Form:
Some may take on extra dragon traits in their human form, such as having horns, wings or claws present, but many choose to simply look like normal humans.
Culture/Origin of Species: Unlike the more known species of Dragons, those of which fly around and terrorize others with their flaming breaths, or any other similar means, Ancient Dragons are, and always have been, a lot less prominent. Larger than normal Dragons, as well as less eager for action, they have often been known as the nature guardians of the Dragon race, who lived primarily in solitude, and did not mess with others without reason.
They are not a very populous species, keeping to themselves even among their own, preferring to not be lumped in with their more overzealous, power and treasure hoarding relatives. It isn’t known as to when these bulky giants came to be, but they have been known to be the ones to keep the balance among other dragon species, as well as those that would dare interfere.
Traits: • Shielding: They possess extremely hard, tough to damage hides/scales. Even in human form, they are much harder to inflict damage upon than would be expected. Grants them 2 Aspect points in Resilience.
• Heavy Power: Due to their naturally large stature and weight, combined with a tough body, these dragons have a lot of physical strength, allowing them to shatter rocks with a punch. Grants 1 Aspect point in Strength.
• Mental Fortitude: They are very tough-minded individuals, and have a natural resistance towards any kind of mind control, or manipulation. While not impossible to affect them, it is certainly a very hard task to accomplish.
• Some dragons are able to change their size, however they cannot go smaller than 10 ft and this change can only happen twice a day due to requiring a lot of energy
• Slow Metabolism: They have a low need for food, and can last a long time without any sustenance, making them good at any stake-out situations.
Flaws: • It can take more training for some dragons to be able to control their size
• Low Noise Tolerance: More solitary in nature, these dragons have a tendency to highly dislike loud sounds, and may recoil from such, or even get pissed if forced to endure loud environments.
