In a world of myths and mysteries, the pinnacle of the magical academies exists. Eldritch Academy offers education to all ages and species but specializes in the study and training of one's innate mystical capabilities, often called Eldritch Energies, Powers, or Unknowns, but more formally known as their Talent. However, tensions run high with the nations only holding a fragile peace as the Talents that rival the epitomes of technology change the balance of power.
With the more recent uprising of evil Shades and introduction of combat-oriented programs into Talent-focused schools, nations grow more aggressive towards one another. The demand for resources grows, and skirmishes at the border of Arka and Mistere become more frequent. Monsters run into the nations from the Wildes, terrorizing villages and cities. The need for trained or in-training Hunters and Guardians has never been more urgent.

Still, in contrast to that, he sometimes can be swallowed by his anger, slipping off into a burning rage, not least due to the demonic entity that has been sealed within himself. Generally speaking, Johann has been turned rather stoic and indifferent through the events that have unfolded throughout his lifetime, but is still a friendly and cheerful man who, in the right company, will not hesitate to show his true person.

Mars: Mars was created on the first day of existence in paradise as a hybrid between the darkness that formed the negative and the light that formed the positive, these terms later distinguished into "demon" and "angel". Being a mixture between the elements, Mars was unwelcome in paradise at the time. Not only that, he was unable to exist in his natural state to prevent him from being released onto the world he was meant to end prematurely, only catching a brief glimpse of heaven before being cast down to earth and sealed within one of the first 7 noble bloodlines to survive, remaining passive until his violent awakening within the latest descendant of that bloodline.
Mars can best be described as eccentric, dramatic and generally very goofy and exaggerated. He is easily excitable and enjoys interaction of any kind, negative or positive. Against what one would think, he enjoys talking as much as he enjoys fighting, only changing to and staying in a more professional personality when implicitly necessary or when triggered (see dislikes). Inside of battle, Mars will never back down from a challenge, charging at any enemy with the highest of confidence while having fun in the process. He isn't one for tactics or even strategy. To him, the beauty lies within instinct and raw, unrefined brutality and bloodshed, which is reflected in his chaotic fighting style.
Additionally, Mars wasn't created to lead. He is a being that was made for one purpose and that purpose alone and, while by no means stupid or ignorant, isn't meant to be the brains of an operation. Ending up homeless on the streets of a country called Minstrel, he went through the hardest years of his life, eventually managing to collect up enough money to buy a sword and start building up his existence as a mercenary. For a good while, that was how the man spent his days, living from day to day and contract to contract, though managing to lead a relatively comfortable existence until he decided it was time to settle down, delving deeper into the mysteries of the arcane and discovering his own abilities before joining a Company of Merchants and Traders in an attempt to get back the fortune and reputation he had once known. After spending about a year with that organization, Johann had undergone a rapid and decisive change and growth in power that finally led to the discovery of Mars, the entity that had been sealed within the man from the very beginning, at first being more than skeptical, even hateful towards the one that called himself a demonic Lord of War. Though forced to share a body with the self-declared Second Seal Johann felt nothing but contempt for the being until, through a fateful change and ritual, Johann's body, mind and soul merged with the creature and they became one, changing both of the entities and forming something new, a being that was in equal parts the sum of its parts, wielding the power of magic and apocalypse alike. When Johann had finally accepted this newfound power and used it to tie up the many loose ends of his past however he found himself changed, altered and finally cast into a new world by means he could not and did not know. Struggling to find his place in this new world, he did whatever he could to gain information about the events behind this sudden change and so, after a while, found himself at Eldritch Academy, ending up doing the one thing he did best. ✠ SPECIES INFORMATION ✠ ✠ Name of Species: Anthro / Nephalem Hybrid ✠ Baseline Dimension: Similar to humans✠ Baseline Appearance: Varies. Human form is greatly influenced by angelic and demonic traits and can be switched to either fully angelic or demonic. Additionally the hair is coloured white, the eyes are a bright colour that changes depending on the emotion or usage of talent. ✠ Culture/Origin of Species: A mix between a Nephalem and an Anthro. ✠ Traits: • Anthros gain +3 aspect points into their strength due to being a mix of the powerful human and a wild animal. • Anthros may take on characteristics of their animal such as venomous snake fangs, wings for flight, or enhanced swimming skills. • Like Demons and Angles, Nephalems have an affinity towards religion based talents as well as talents that revolve around light and shadow, or even both. Talents revolving around these themes are stronger when used by a Nephalem • Like Angels, Nephalems are resistant against illusions, though take this a step further. Nephalems are both blessed and cursed and thus immune to mind altering effects such as fear, charms, hallucinations and controls. • Like Angels and Demons, Nephalems are unaffected by disease and plague, but, due to the mixture of bloods, also have a natural resistance against poisons of any kind. ✠ Flaws: • Anthros will not be born with a distinct mother tongue, while other species will have their own language Anthros only naturally speak the humans language and will have to learn the language of their animal. • Nephalems are seen as abominations among both Angels and Demons, the offspring of a union that should not exist, thus earning them potential hate or prejudice from either of their parent species'. • A Nephalem's very existence is a thing that goes against nature. They are simultaneously blessed and cursed, and while the two cancel each other out and they are able to live relatively normal lives, they are occasionally plagued by horrible nightmares of heaven and hell, both places most unwelcoming to the hybrids should they ever go there.
