Moderators are sorted into two categories by tasks. Upon promotion, a moderator chooses one or both tasks of what is available. The mod team is separated into two teams-- The Story Team and the Application Team. Application Moderators assist the site by approving biographies, species, talents, quests, monsters, and trinkets. They also manage the Shardshop and advertise the site. Story Moderators read through roleplay threads on a consistent basis and take detailed notes in order to create events that cater to what is happening In-Character. Both assist with the creation of events as they desire.

Want to become a Moderator on Eldritch Academy? You're in the right place! Generally, Administrators will reach out to members we see that are active, helpful, friendly, and generally seem interested. However, sending Izalie a PM to state you are interested greatly increases your chances! No prior mod experience is required to become a Moderator, you will be trained in the roles. When messaging the Admin team, feel free to let us know if you would prefer to become a Story Moderator, Application Moderator (or Assistant), or both!
