Glad to be here. Looks like a great place.
I'm currently trying to break into writing professionally and get a book published, mainly in the market for older kids and tweens. It's pretty hard to nail the voice of younger characters, so I tend to RP kids a lot for practice. Hopefully one of these days I'll sell a book and become rich. Also while I'm dreaming I'd like a pony.
My hobbies, aside from writing, are translating Japanese stuff (I've been a part of more scanlation/fansub/game translation groups than I can count), playing JRPGs, watching anime and painting miniatures. I've been forum RPing since I was 12, which is longer ago than I care to admit. Let's just say when I started RPing most forums couldn't support avatars of any kind and signatures were just becoming a thing. You'll probably never see me use a template since I'm an old dog and you know what they say about us and tricks. Also those things are a pain to read on my cellphone.
Oh I like reading too. Japanese and English, though I mostly read kids books in English for research. But hey if you ever need recommendations for good novels aimed at kids aged 12-and-under let me know and I can hook you up!
I don't know how many characters I'll have. Maybe 2? Hypha is the only one I have figured out at the moment. She's going to be a young angel from a lost and forgotten death cult tied to icky plant-based body horror, but she's a really nice girl because hey man angels can't pick the religions they serve. Come join her cult. We've got... fungus. It'll make you feel... nice.
