Name: Neon Idiosyncrasy
[break][break]
Concept: Due to her military like upbringing the talent within her evolved and mutated. What started off as a simple ink based talent grew toxic, confined and plagued with negativity and chemicals it malfunctioned one day, creating instead of simple black ink an array of blinding hues from her traditional pen as a child. Over time this has changed, evolved and grown into a talent based on the reckless actions of a half baked artist. Her sword and weapon replaced with a can of paint the talent revolves around that of non-traditional methods of expressing ones self and art.
[break][break]
Extras: Not only while using this, but as a passive continuous side affect of this talent she finds herself and her attire glowing in a radioactive neon light, emanating not only from her skin, hair and eyes but also from any clothes that she dons this can be hard to control. But can be overridden by changing her appearance with her talent.
[break][break]
Positive Mechanics:[break]
• Through her talent she is able to summon into her hands tools of the trade, tools of the artistic trade. Coming in various types and colours this may include things like spray paint, stencils, and pencils. These tools can also be removed from the plane of existence as needed to avoid a build of unnecessary goods. The most powerful and common she can summon being spray paint in bright shades of neon. [break]
• When using the artistic tools Scylla can create creatures from drawings and pictures, ranging from a toaster to a dinosaur like demon with a tumor covered body anything drawn with her tools can be brought into reality with her talents. [break]
• Not only can creatures and things be brought to life with her powers but she can also influence the mind of others, this extends mainly to hallucinations and implanting or rewriting memories. By painting or otherwise creating an artwork she can implant it into the victim, anything from a single bunny hopping through their vision to monsters, or a memory wiped clean, repainted with what she wishes. The more detailed this is the more energy she will have to exert, and for the more extensive canvases such as rewriting or implementing a memory it would also require skill and training. requires ooc permission[break]
• Neon hues can change and influence the environment around her, by painting and graffiti she can not only scar the area with her art but she can also blind and affect those who see it. One of such displays is known for being so bright that it blinds and disorients the people who view it for up to five minutes after depending on their mental strength. [break]
• Scylla can change her appearance, whilst it cannot change the main shape or structure of her body it is useful in human form as she can disguise herself as others. [break]
• By using her spraypaint she can create artworks that affect those within a small range of it. This is a talent which is heavily reliant upon training, so over time with every grade that she gains the radius of affected area will increase by 1m (D2, C3, B4, A5). When she creates an artwork she can embed it with the power to affect a single aspect by 1 point, either increasing or decreasing the direction and aspect mush be chosen and specified upon creation. She can only have one talented artwork at a time, creating one takes effort and it will last for five to ten minutes based on circumstances. repetitive creations without rest will result in health degradation. [break]
[break][break]
Negative Mechanics:[break]
• When creating a talented artwork that affects the aspect of others it also affects herself, if she creates ones that negatively impacts aspect points it could affect herself if she is within range. The same goes for when she creates aspect boosting artworks, if an enemy is within range they too will be affected. This could lead to problematic situation during close combat. [break]
• Due to the bright and messy nature of this talent she is not suited to acting in a stealthy or professional fashion. It can be awkward and hard to utilize in some situations that require discretion and often leaves noticeable traces which can be easily recognized as her work. [break]
