Name of Talent: Object Animation
Concept: The user can breath “life” into inorganic objects, turning them into living organisms as long as they are near the user. Anything lifeless can be brought to life using this ability and will follow the commands of the user. The object will still be of the same material and so the durability will be the same. When something given life moves too far from the user, they return to being lifeless objects. The user could train to improve the reach of this ability, but currently the objects need to stay within six meters.
Extra(s): Grace brought a dragon statue to life and with aid of some enchantments, managed to grant it movement due to the impossibility for stone to move normally. This dragon is always near Grace due to it returning to an inanimate stone construct if it moves away from Grace.
Positive Mechanics:
• Life breath: The user brings objects to life.
• Commanding the inorganic: The user controls the objects she brings to life.
• Helpful: The objects will perform whatever duties the user gives them.
• Connected: An object made of multiple parts (like a full armor) can be brought to life as one living object. If parts are separated from the object, the bigger part will keep the “life”, but the smaller bits become lifeless objects again.
Negative Mechanics:
• Solid: If an object is a rock, it can possibly roll, but not grow arms. Statues are made of stone and would normally not be able to move as rock isn't very flexible. The dragon statue was made with aid from others, she would need help from others or enchantments to create more.
• Reach: If an object moves too far away from the user, they return to being lifeless. Current reach: six meters.
• Limit: The user cannot create an infinite number of living objects, while multiple parts can become one living object, she can only keep control over a total of three objects (this includes the dragon).
