She was not a human, and yet not a complete slime, either. She is the offspring of "gross" and "normal", a girl who sits on the boundary unable to fit into either category. Maybe she's inferior? Maybe she's weak. Maybe she's laughed by all of the other races, condemned for being lower than a human and yet stronger than a slime. Yeah, that's not exactly an achievement. She watches her race slide and jump around, helplessly non-sentient as she's standing in that oddly shaped human body. [break][break] Her mother always told her she was unique. She knows now of the naive lies she's been told, and to what degree they stretch. She knows her family loved and still loves her, but she also knows that she has to be the one being depended on. She's sisterly and brash, outspoken and opinionated in spite of the place she holds at the school. She cares little about the people around her, and more on herself and her family. [break][break] She's temperamental, but she's nurturing. She fails to understand how to return kind gestures, and she struggles with showing gratitude or appreciation. She lashes out with all of these complex emotions, unable to contain them and ultimately breaks down in anxiety and fear alike. She doesn't know how to be genuinely kind, perhaps due to the excuses she conjures on the spot in a desperate attempt to ward one away from her kind nature. [break][break] But though she is looked down upon, she is a strong girl. She is brash and hard-headed, stubborn and persistent. She has been told of these traits, but she'll brush it off with a smile, with a remark that looks down upon their judgement. [attr="class","nodensright1"]SPECIES SLIME & HUMAN [attr="class","nodensright21"] [attr="class","nodensright22"] Species[break] Slime/Human [break][break] Baseline Dimension[break] A normal slime is basically the size of a cat or a small dog. A High Slime has eaten so much it has swollen up to the size of a car. However, a Legendary Slime has become so big it can even swallow an entire elephant.[break][break] Human, average is 5ft to 6 ft, although it depends on the human. [break][break] Baseline Appearance[break]  Well they're human, no fancy natural hair colours unless dyed, just casual brown/blue/green eyes naturally and pretty normal. [break][break] Culture/Origin[break] Human--[break] The most basic of species yet the strongest, humans have been around for hundreds of years and play a major part in history. The outnumber every other species, and it's common to see families with one human and one mythical creature as the parent. Humans cannot pinpoint their origin due to how long they have been on this land for. [break][break] Slime--[break] Slimes don't have a particular origin or culture like most other species, in fact, slimes start out as a non-sentient species that slime their way through a forest, cave or basically any natural environment. Most of the time they are not really big, in fact, they are actually really small to the point they only devour small woodland critters. Sometimes you could encounter bigger ones, but most of the time you won't. They are after all a low level creature, and are often the target for basic training. However, there are exceptions, every once in a while Slime luckily manages to survive, devour beings until the point it can consume larger creatures. And if it grows large enough and eats enough sentient creatures as its nutrition it becomes a High and later on a Legendary Slime and actually become a sentient being itself. [break][break] Traits[break] Human--[break] • Humans have a natural affinity for magic based on the basic elements, nature, electricity, fire, earth, water, air and metal. This gives them strength when using the elements and resistance against them. From these elements humans naturally have 3 resilience aspect points. [break] • Humans can fit in anywhere, it is easy for them to learn languages, different talents, fighting styles or cultures, this allows them to have an extra talent. [break][break] Slime--[break] • Their body is fluid, which means it can shapeshift[break] • Melee attacks have less effect on their body [break][break] Flaws[break] • Slimes are a gluttonous creatures, even when hiding in a human form. So it might have trouble to adjust to city life.[break] • Slimes are extremely weak to any kind of fire. Normal or magic wise. |
