Merlissa holds two subjects in charge. Magical Beasts and Species Studies. Please note that there are two types of classes, Specialist and General, for both subjects.
Specialist classes will go strongly in depth with the subject and may entail field trips and practical lessons. Completing the Specialist classes with at least a 90% attendance(excluding valid reason absentees) will grant the student a certificate indicating they had passed the specialist class. This class is often taken by students who wish to enter the field, though some do take it to help with other subjects.
General classes will give the student a brief overview of the subject and do not have an examination but is instead a pass or fail. A 75% attendance(excluding valid reason absentees) is required in order to pass the class. Failing will mean no score will be added to the overall grade. This class is often taken by younger children.

Merlissa may also hold open classes to teach, often as a trial lesson to interest students in the subject. Open classes will happen at random and have no fixed timetable nor test.
MgcBst stands for Magical Beast, this subject tackles the fauna of Mistere and beyond, includes practical demonstration of magical fauna deemed safe enough for students or is handled by the teacher.
SpcStd stands for Species Studies, this subject tackles the physical, cultural(more indepth in Specialist classes) and magical aspects of the species(do not confuse this for the sister subject Inter-species Communications). Classes may include guests appearances from the races if Merlissa can get a hold of a representative.
You may sign up for both classes, however you can only sign up for a General or Specialist class of the same subject.
Classes will begin when at least 2 characters have signed up. Classes are only open to students of said subject unless it is an open class.
