In a world of myths and mysteries, the pinnacle of the magical academies exists. Eldritch Academy offers education to all ages and species but specializes in the study and training of one's innate mystical capabilities, often called Eldritch Energies, Powers, or Unknowns, but more formally known as their Talent. However, tensions run high with the nations only holding a fragile peace as the Talents that rival the epitomes of technology change the balance of power.
With the more recent uprising of evil Shades and introduction of combat-oriented programs into Talent-focused schools, nations grow more aggressive towards one another. The demand for resources grows, and skirmishes at the border of Arka and Mistere become more frequent. Monsters run into the nations from the Wildes, terrorizing villages and cities. The need for trained or in-training Hunters and Guardians has never been more urgent.

♦ STUDENT INFORMATION ♦Name: Ōwatatsumi Wani Gender: Male Age: 17 Grade: 12th Grade (Senior) Dorm: Sage Height: 160 cm Appearance:Personality: This guy is easily misunderstood; under his often cold, freezing ‘mean look’ and inhuman atmosphere, he’s both easy to get flustered, easily affected by other’s emotions and just as easily drawn to certain patterns in people’s expressions such as joy, humor, sadness, rage, discomfort etc. Despite his edgy look on his face, he favors company when it’s available. His ‘book cover’ appearance is usually a result of watching him from afar, because when you get to know him, he… kind of expresses a lot of emotions, just not through the usual means. He can be extremely happy without creating a single dimple, he can fume in rage without showing teeth or even a single wrinkle. He’s very good at concealing his appearances and, instead, express his feelings on an even plane. However, it often equals having no emotions, which he can’t associate himself with. He can also be a tad lazy and prefers napping rather than using his breaks on something productive. He adores cute and cuddly things to an extreme extent - almost like an addiction. It’s likely the only thing that pulls off his ‘mask’ on occasion. He also enjoys sweets and very tasty things whether if they focus on the sour, sweet, hot or cold. Anything too ‘grey-zoned’ for his taste buds doesn’t go well with him. History: Wani hails from Hisakawa. He and his family were from the outer areas of the land near the mountains, which obviously determined their wealth - poor, poor rice farmers. It wasn’t that they stank at producing rice, but they had a bunch of competition from bigger rice productions, and they were often threatened by having to close down their business. It would only mean their demise as he was raised with, and almost every, single day, Wani feared for his and his parents’ lives… Until fate showed mercy to them… The next Daionmyōji (meaning: Great Priest of Yin-Yang) had been born almost a decade ago according to the priests’ and monks’ calculations. When they realized that, they travelled around the land with their talismans and one shikigami; these tools were meant to bring forth the right aura of the specific Onmyōji. Meanwhile, Wani’s parents had died in an avalanche up in the hills where their rice was growing under the cold water - which actually proved efficient if not for the scarce amount that they had left. After mourning, Wani decided to use the last of what his parents had left back for him to travel to Minstere where he, against all odds, succeeded in enrolling in Eldritch Academy. He managed to make a life out of himself, whilst Hisakawa is missing a very important person… until they decided to promote one of their minor Onmyōjis to a Daionmyōji. What’s next in Wani’s life, you may ask? For now, find out yourself. ♦ SPECIES INFORMATION ♦ Name of Species: (Homo Sapiens) Human Baseline Dimension: Human, average is 5ft to 6 ft, although it depends on the human. Baseline Appearance: Well, they're human; no fancy, natural hair colours unless dyed (or unless if you're the main character, which isn't a thing here), just casual brown/blue/green eyes naturally and pretty normal. Culture/Origin of Species: The most basic of species yet the strongest, humans have been around for hundreds of years and play a major part in history. The outnumber every other species, and it's common to see families with one human and one mythical creature as the parent. Humans cannot pinpoint their origin due to how long they have been on this land for. Traits: • Humans have a natural affinity for magic based on the basic elements, nature, electricity, fire, earth, water, air and metal. This gives them strength when using the elements and resistance against them. From these elements humans naturally have 3 resilience aspect points. • Humans can fit in anywhere, it is easy for them to learn languages, different talents, fighting styles or cultures, this allows them to have an extra talent.
