Tonight I'm gonna come alive | |
Words: 793 Tags: @name Notes: Stuff | In order to properly hold the papers and see where she was going all while the papers were not going to get in her way or seem overbearing to her, they were handed to her folded up into thirds in a way that would be easy to keep and go through all of her information while she headed to her dorm. She spent quite a while having to get here, but to Sakura, this place just felt new to her being in an old doll body. No less than that, it was also the first time that the doll had been so far away from her mother as well, but it seemed to be for the best that she come out here alone. At least for the time being that was. Once they could, they promised she would be able to come over, but for now she had to live on campus... which wasn't so bad really. She was used to being around crowds of people, but this time it seemed different. Everyone was a lot more... accepting. Nobody gave her any weird looks, but in fact it was her whom gave the odd looks. So many different looking people, things disguised as people; hybrids as technical terminology would call them. Things were all new for her, but so far it seemed so at ease for the porcelain student. Her dress had covered the ball sockets for joints, which could easily make others think that she was probably some small halfling or a goblin of some kind that was just this small. She felt like she belonged at one of those little nerdy games people sat around with for hours, rolling dice and role-playing to each other through some made up story. It mattered not, she was real into that when she was still human, so it wasn't much to her when she saw these things with her own- well... kind of her own two eyes. After all, she was a doll and the eyes weren't really normal eyes. The silver haired doll paused as she looked down to her paper and then up to the room labeled on the door. "Ah, here we are, Room 8." She stated aloud, not having anyone around while she got her other work together, fishing around some things to find the things she needed. "Now to find the key..." Looking around, she patted around her dress as though it held pockets and then gripping her hand tight, she felt her right one unable to close fully, moving the papers to show the key sat in the grasp of it. The doll looked up and then began to reach for the door, trying to put the key into the lock, but for a person of a 3 foot height, it was no easy task... especially when she couldn't have a normal flexibility of her joints or anything. "Ahaha! I think you're coming up a little short there, lolita." The Yokai commented in a snarky manner, making Sakura drop from her tip toes and sigh. "Nobody asked for your opinion, mutt. Quiet." She snapped back, simply levitating the key with a black aura, putting it into the hole precisely and turning it, then pushing the door open a little before the key would be removed from the lock and drop to her hands, making a small clinking sound as the metal key hit the porcelain of her hands. "I can't find my own limits if I don't try. I got so used to the 4 foot tall model, going back feels so off." Brushing it off, the girl headed into the empty room and shut the door. It only contained a couple empty shelves and beds, but aside from those and a desk, nothing in this room had any creativity. At least it was in a nice blue color!~ The doll walked over, putting a little rolling suitcase next to the bed to the left of the door and then climbing up onto it, looking around. "I bet your roommate is gonna be some like 6 foot 9 troll lady that coddles you and calls you 'Petunia'." Akita cackled with laughter, enjoying every second of the amusing thought. "Bite me, you flea bitten drunk. Now you can wait before I let you try out the bed." With a smirk of victory, the teenage doll crawled over to the top, laying down in the bed on her back and sighing. "I suppose closing my eyes for a bit won't hurt." Not that she needed sleep, but she drifted off rather quickly as only the faint sound of breathing left her nose. |
