real age unknown, Phys. 18

Highschool - Senior

6'2
Appearance:
He is often seen shirtless for no apparent reason, despite the dismay of staff and other students on campus. When he does usually wear proper outfits they are usually jeans and a white or black shirt.
Personality:
Bomani, initially, being mute the majority of his childhood is rather an academically and intelligent young man. He likely would've been in Orchid if it weren't for the fact that he hates competition, pressure, and that he talks too much as well. He puts his studies first and is seen as a very good student. He talks rather too much, now that he is capable of it. But tends to talk more to certain people he enjoys being around without giving two thoughts.
He is an incredibly quirky individual, always having odd habits and rituals. Not to the point, he'd be seen as OCD, but he is a very random individual. Often times, doing this without a thought and is impulsive. For a moment, he could be good friends with someone having a conversation, next moment he just randomly threw a punch because someone upset him.
For example, Bomani thinks a good way of attracting attention and friends is by being shirtless to show off his strength. In fact, this is a horrible idea and has gained him odd stares from the male population on campus. Whereas to the naive, population of women on campus, he is seen as attractive and admirable.
Bomani enjoys reading and working out in his spare time. He usually isn't one, for evilness, and tries to control himself. Putting him at Good-Neutral. Although he does have anger issues, he is not a sadist.
Bomani is a nice man and although he had a rare and strange beginning he is a good person at heart. He's a chatterbox and loyal friend or ally to have. He is rather lonesome though, his strange personality constantly puts him at odds with others in terms of friendships. He is easy to befriend, but many find him strange. He is always at an internal battle with himself and what he should do with his life, but he has faith he will figure it out.
History: Bomani. Once, had another surname. No, not Silva. His birth name. He was adopted, but never would learn of this surname. Ever.
Bomani is from a small island very far from the 3 major countries. It’s called “Nome of Khem”. It’s translated to “Region of Black Arts”. It was similar to prehistoric Egypt. The customs, the way the people looked, and dressed. It is an incredibly poor island now. Very much in poverty.
He only was on this island as a baby to age of 8.
Bomani is the product of a rape between a human woman and demon father. The demon father never knowingly encountered Bomani and thus, Bomani never knew anythinig about his father. It was said that he crawled in through her house, raped her, then left her. The mother described a monstrous being that no one had apparently known about in the small village. The mother would survive long enough to give birth, but the psychological and physical affects of her brain and genitalia would be very ruptured causing her to beg for her own death. She didn’t want to live with a child monster or be shunned for having a half demon child. For all she knew, they could kill them both seeing them as evil baggage rather than innocent victims.
She would later be correct as to how Bomani would be treated at a later date.
This entire incident would be something Bomani harbored on his mind for the remainder of his life. He would feel so much guilt.
After the death, of his mother, Bomani would never speak. Never. What people in today’s society considered selective mutism, autism, anxiety etc., was considered some sort of hex or demonic meaning on the island.
Bomani would grow up to be an orphan. Stoic and quiet. No friends. No acquaintances. No family. Nobody to lean on, but some of the few sympathetic young women who worked in the orphanage. Only just nods and strange noises. He’d smile if he got something right in his studies, but otherwise, no. He would just stare.
Eventually, a mass illness rained upon the island.
At first, people considered it to be natural causes. But as soon as young children in the orphanage (who couldn’t fight off the illness due to age) starting dying, all but Bomani, he was the one to blame.
It would soon escalate by a notch.
Soon the tribal leader would visit the orphanage to investigate, ironically, already hit with the illness. Then he’d point at Bomani and collapse from fatigue.
After that, there was no choice. Something had to be done with Bomani. Initially, they were going to exorcise, torture, and kill Bomani. But they as some found this super inhumane for an 8 year old who couldn’t help his lineage. The chief decided instead, to let him die of starvation. So, Bomani would be tied to a small wood boat, and pushed to drift off to sea.
After 2 days of torture, another boat would find Bomani. They’d untie him and let him in seeing it was just a child. In fact, they were a variety of species. A group of fishermen.
Bomani was one lucky person. He had survived all odds.
Afterwards, he would live with one of the fishermen a demon man who would go by the name Drake Silva.
Drake and Bomani would begin to have a father-son relationship. This was up to the point Bomani would die recently up to now. Bomani would grow very confused. All of his life, he had fished and done odd poor jobs such as mine or work at restaraunts or things. He grew up poor, but had a very loving “father”. What could he do now? Where would he go? Setting his sights on Eldritch he decided he’d continue his education there and get a degree of some sort. What it would be? He didn’t know, but intended doing something with his life.
