♦ STUDENT INFORMATION ♦
Name: Chloe Isabella Baskerville
Gender: Female
Age: 13
Year in school: Highschool Freshman
Dorm: Orchid
Height: 5’ 1”
Appearance:
Personality: Chloe is a very simple but complex person. Her sleight of hand with life has made her body and mind appear as though they are two different entities, however they allow her to follow in the ideas that she has grown up wanting to do. Granted, she is unable to fully process some things as they might seem to be completely foreign to her, she is incredibly quick to catch on and adapt to new things around her. While Chloe might seem as though she might be some gullible girl, she is in fact someone to be reckoned with if caught on a bad day as well. As quick as she is to buy you an ice cream, she is to stab you in the back.. or a knee to even the eye level before getting to the jugular. Of course, most of the time this is purely metaphorical.
There is a side of her that is purely business and more focused than some might see as humanly possible. This might cause her to drown her surroundings out completely and then react brashly if approached in a surprise. As a little ninja-to-be, she is very vigilant unless caught in one of her overly focused situations.. or it could just be an elaborate rouse! You never know with her and she’ll never tell a soul of her techniques! However, even in a state of absolute focus and preservation for her goals and the goals of others, she is very cut throat with fighting. She has trained herself mentally to always train for a kill and that “sparring” only ends with the blade to the throat of her enemy. Of course she knows the difference, but her aggression towards it is very much serious and she is unwilling to adjust simply for a school safety rule.
Unaware to Chloe’s control, her time spent in the being specially manipulated has left scarred impressions into her memories. Normal, happy things from her past have become distorted and when they come up in her dreams emulate into horrid night terrors that force her to scream up out of her sleep. As much as she tries to keep herself from experiencing these, her need for sleep puts her in the position to try and sleep away from the academy grounds, isolating herself to keep others from having to worry about her. She believes herself to be an independent person despite her physical appearance and her combat prowess, but deep down she has a deep fear of expressing these feelings to anyone.
With everything that is wrong with Chloe’s mental state, her general focus and harsh battle treatments, this younger girl is still more normal than some might give her credit for. She enjoys to make friends and hang around them like a normal person, but her fears that haunt her keep her from staying close or wanting to fully commit to a normal friendship... at least as far as secrets go. What she knows about what happened to her is buried into the back of her mind and it won’t come to the surface no matter how hard she wants to speak about it. Still, she tries to keep to a normal life, dressing in clothes she likes and sometimes in rather mismatching ways, poking into others business that she doesn’t belong in, and wanting to play some games as well.
History:
Things were always so simple through Chloe’s eyes in life. She was a very energetic child growing up and it was to no surprise to anyone that she was a Baskerville child from the way she was raised. Her best role model was her older sister Caroline, whom taught her how to do a lot of things. Though her favorite thing to do was playfully act like a dog around Caroline, barking and panting with many a giggles between them because she was always happy to play with her older sister. Most of the time she wash humored by it, but other times she just.. wasn’t around. Being the child was she was, she thought at first that she was playing maybe some hide-and-seek, but the first few times looking about led to her being on a wild goose chase.
Her obsession with finding out where Caroline disappeared to all the time began to make her believe that maybe she was some kind of ninja! If that were the case, then Chloe wanted to be just like her big sister! The childishly fruitful thought quickly became more than just a child’s imagination. She started to become more and more crafty in her movements and her hiding. Spending quite some time until she had been able to successfully follow complete strangers and her own parents about into places like shops and little trips out. Well, at least she thought she was being crafty. As a child, she seemed to just keep practicing until she had ended up wanting to test her theory out for real.
If the younger Baskerville was truly a good enough ninja, she could surely follow her escape of a sister out and find out where she was going. If it was somewhere fun and she didn’t tell Chloe, she’d surely get a stern talking to! But instead, she spent several times tailing her to an isolated place and simply waiting patiently until she would come out and then come home. From there, Chloe acted as though she had just come from another room or that she was picking up stuff for their parents. Whatever she could do to keep her sister from knowing.
One day, the suspicion became too much to bare. What was it that Carol was doing in there? It had been a couple months and she had no idea what made her compulsively go down, but she had waited out her sister coming out before she made her move. Once the older sister left, Chloe made her way over and began to fiddle with the locks with a set of lock picks she had and then snuck inside. Once inside, she carefully made her way down until she found something she regretfully found. Cages of animals that were deformed, lashing out at her with nasty barks and cries. The sight of them alone was horrible to bare witness to and quickly the younger girl fled, making sure to lock back up before scurrying home in fear.
Chloe wasn’t the same after that that for a little while. She became more reserved and less hyperactive than usual. Her parents became worried and had her stay in bed in fear she might have been sick. Despite a doctor visiting, multiple times of her parents visiting go check up on her, she was physically fine. No sickness or illness, just a small mental scar that she was trying to heal and move on from. And then... nothing. Her memories from then on were blank. A layer of fog and black mist that kept her from remembering anything after that. All she could see was the mist around her and the growling of a dog.
After what could be referred to between the sisters as the “Baskerville massacre”, Chloe has begun to walk through his mist of darkness, only seeing faint lights between some of the fog that got her lost for quite some time. Clouded from seeing anything around her, she began to see things like flashes of photographs in her mind. They taunted her and the audio popped in her mind with no way of stopping how loud it was. The cries of those tortured animals started to drive her mad. The Sacramentum began to take these feelings and warping her mind, pinpointing a sense of anger for what she had been doing to innocent animals and forcing it to expand, consuming her. I’m doing so had fed off of childhood ambitions and playful means, twisting her form to a dog pitch black in shade, colored through the black hellfire from which she was reborn from. The former Chloe Baskerville was augmented into a hellhound with anger fueled for revenge.
It wasn’t much longer in fighting through the fog and Caroline’s experimenting that brought this twisted form of her sister back to the real world. The force had almost taken the hound off of its feet, but staring down the human form of her sister showed glowing red eyes of anger and hate. Suddenly, the sounds picked up and their screaming caused the hellhound to hesitate in acting on its anger. It was then Chloe was able to see on her own for the first time. At first, she began to back down, whining sounds of fear of what was going on entirely. She didn’t know what happened, why suddenly things were as they were, but she got a glimpse of what she was and it caused her to panic. In a need to flee and run, she carelessly made a series of hits against the wall, an empty cage, and finally, the floor where she was knocked unconscious so easily.
Her form regressed to its former human appearance, leaving the girl to appear as though she were just the same as before, but with two new scars from which were unknown to her how. Once she woke up, she had been inside a room and with a frightful scream she jumped up from her bed, huffing and panting. “Was it just a dream?” She thought, looking around at the unfamiliar room until her sister walked in, bringing food and a familiar face to which the girl had broken down crying over. Over the course of her meal, she confessed her prior actions of following her sister, sneaking into her lab and following her along before. However, as a minor, she still had to attend school no matter what her situation had been, but after some time of being able to adjust to things before she was able to enroll in the academy to help better her skills and for her to use her new canine form and prowess to become the best ninja ever!

♦ SPECIES INFORMATION ♦
Name of Species: Hellhound
Baseline Dimension: (Human) || General dimensions of a Hellhound when maintaining a humanoid form will - more often than not - take after the common averages that legitimate humans would; implying that fully grown heights would likely average anywhere between 5'4" (~162-163 cm) to 5'10" (~177-178 cm) on average, though these heights are subjective altogether, and any Hellhound could very well exceed these averages, or perhaps fall short of them. To match, their weights and builds are often differing as a result, though are normally of the average weight that a human would be at any given height, with some influence from his or her gender.
(Wolf) || Often times, male Hellhounds stand at a shoulder height of approximately 13 feet (~396 cm), as well as a nose to tail tip measurement of about 16 1/2 (~502-503 cm), all while weighing in at an average of 900 lbs (~408 kg). Females, on the other hand, have been recorded to stand at a shoulder height of 10 feet (~304-305 cm), as well as a a nose to tail tip length of 13 1/2 (~411 cm), while holding an approximated weight of 700 lbs (~317-318 kg) on average. Those of the male variation have been known to host bulkier bodies with more muscle and definition within their forms, while females are lighter and more agile. However, builds among different Hellhounds could easily differ and stray away from the norm.
Baseline Appearance: (Human) || Regardless of gender, a given Hellhound's appearance will likely reflect their pelt color within their lupine forms, if not take on the standard, black hair, and crimson eyes, that most Hellhounds are known to have. If the aforementioned appearance isn't the one that they take on, then any Hellhound could possibly have the natural hair and eye colors that existing wolf breeds would have within their pelt and eyes alike; thus making it possible for someone of this species to naturally have white hair, as well as golden or amber eyes. Forms could easily differ depending upon the various factors of one's biology - such as metabolism, eating habits, exercise routines, and other things of the sort - but generally, males hold a well build and toned build, while females generally follow suit, although with a thinner body in order to enable room for more natural agility and flexibility.
(Wolf) || While many Hellhounds boast a sleek, shining fur coat of ebony, as well as eyes of crimson to match, the fact of the matter is that Hellhounds altogether aren't strictly limited to the aforementioned appearance altogether. Most may host the given look, though others - more often than not - also host features similar to common wolves in accordance to their specimens. As such, if a Hellhound doesn't have the black fur and red eyes that most of their race would, then fur possibilities could range anywhere between russet, to grey, to even white, among the colors of other, natural wolves. Alongside this, their eyes would likely take some hue of amber, brown, gold, gray, blue, or green. Unlike the restrictions set upon common wolves, however, these colors are capable of being mixed and matched, so a given Hellhound could also hold a mixture of colors within eyes and pelt alike that a legitimate breed of wolf wouldn't be able to have; such as a white pelted wolf with amber or gold colored eyes. Abstract pelt colors such as pink or purple are impossible, with the same applying to eye color, unless the Hellhound in question happens to be a hybrid of a specimen that is capable of holding colors of this sort as the natural hue within their features.
In addition, the forms of most Hellhounds in their lupine form tend to be rather toned, alongside large, in general. Their fur coats are also soft and warm for sake of bodily insulation, and could measure anywhere between short to long as far as fur length is concerned. However, these aren't necessarily the strict features to be seen upon a Hellhound within their wolf form, and differences could be seen within individuals, as features altogether would depend vastly upon the being in question.
Culture/Origin of Species: While the beliefs altogether waver in faith between many individuals within the current day and age, legends within the ancient past of Mistere mention beings of a lupine form being both blessed and cursed alike by the keepers of the underworld in order to petition their aid in watching over the souls of the underworld. With the calm intimidation of curses had they been blessed; as they had been with flame, fury, and sense, among other factors, as well. Within this day and age, it is said that dogs are man's best friend.
These particular legends could very well promote this in a more fierce and ancient sense.
According to legend, the gods of eld had taken it upon themselves to search for companions to aid them; not within the guidance of souls, but rather, the keeping and security. As such, they required beings that boasted but authority and strength to interact with even the fiercest of the fierce for sake of keeping them within their places when their time upon the lands had come to a close. Hunters are what they required for this duty.
Hunters. Protectors.
As such, they extended their reaches to various sources; eventually finding themselves at a clash with the beasts of the wild, and - in time - soon finding the resolve and tenacity that they very much needed. Finding themselves not at the mercy, but at the interest and curiosity of a pack of lupine beings, they found themselves at a gradually progressing impasse. Naturally, the beasts themselves chose not to trust them with each, closer step that they took towards them, and their own; baring fang and claw alike within sheer tenacity with intentions of protecting their kin in the face of these foreign gods. The first encounters had been those of skepticism and hostility towards the gods of eld, though in time, they had managed to gain a small degree of trust from these fantastic beasts in order to observe them from a closer level.
Moons passed, and as they did, they managed to grow closer; soon enough spurring these gods to bestow blessings upon these creatures, as well as their family and kin. Initially, they gave them the power to communicate within their own forms; thus deepening their bonds even more before bestowing further capabilities upon them. Next came the blessing of strength, and - once they had deeper discussions of their futures, as well as promises and suggestions of greater powers - convinced this first pack of beasts to be the first bearers of the damned and the underworld.
With trust accumulated over time, these gods had eventually bestowed greater capabilities upon the pack; enabling them the soon ability to assume a form much like their own. While lupine at heart, these beings had been granted a human build - alongside the varied other powers bestowed upon them - and gradually began to adjust to life both within the wild, as well as within civilizations, in accordance to their own motivations. As time went on, and the beliefs of those upon the surface began to dwindle in regards to the existence of heaven, Hell, and everything in between, many of these beings have strayed from the initial duties of their ancestors for sake of making their lives their own with their abilities to integrate into society.
Traits: •Heightened Senses || Due to being of partial wolf blood in one way or another, those of this species host heightened senses of hearing, smell, and other things of the sort.
•Marathoner || A given Hellhound takes after the wolf's stamina, and thus gains +2 Stamina, as a result.
•Lunar Essence || While within the presence of moonlight, a Hellhound's pyromantic capabilities are augmented- though only so long as they receive direct contact with said moonlight.
•Lunar Blessing || The gods of the past have bestowed an extra degree of strength upon these beings in with the intention of aiding them in their ventures to protect the gates of the underworld. Characters gain +1 Strength.
Flaws: •Feral Instincts || Characters will likely host more feral tendencies; be it something as small to growling in response to a threat out of instinct, or perhaps even giving into hunter or seasonal influences that other animals of the sort would likely experience. Depending upon the person, these instincts may be harder to resist.
•Glare || Should a Hellhound allow their negativity and anger to bleed through, their eyes would easily reflect as such. In addition to gaining somewhat of an enhanced, visual glow about their irises - within their own, natural eye color, of course - their glare could potentially instill feelings of fear and intimidation within those around them. Depending on the given Hellhound - as well as the mental fortitude of those who happen to see their eyes while in this state - this glare may be weaker or stronger.
