♦ COMMUNITY UPDATE #1 ♦
IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN, EVERYONE.
School is starting again and that’s happening nowhere spicier than Eldritch Academy! Welcome to our first Community Update!
First. We are pleased to present to you the Map of Mistere. The maps of the main three nations, individually and all together are coming soon.
In addition to the Map, the Mistere Lore & Regions guide is now here, featured in a new board known as the Encyclopedia. Detailed lore of the world of Skiagis will be stored in this subboard of the Guidebook. Enjoy!
And finally, regional subboards have been added to The Rest of Mistere frontboard! Have fun in these new specific places to roleplay.
The first volume of Mistere history will be released momentarily.

Second. The EA staff team is asking for feedback on the site. We want YOUR opinion and suggestions on what direction the site should go. If you have not done so already, please fill out this short, anonymous survey of the site: Click Here.

Third. Eldritch Academy RP is now hiring!
We have three highly specific mod positions we are wanting to fill. Instead of being an ordinary ‘moderator’ with a handful of tasks, we have a need for a few specific tasks. Mods hired to these positions will primarily focus on their own set of tasks on a consistent basis alongside roleplay and interaction with the community.
The first is probably among the most important for obvious reasons--
Advertising Moderator/Manager. The Ad Mod is the primary promoter of the forum, an important role categorized within Application Mod. They will First Link our ad to many different roleplay and resource sites and Link Back to forums that link first to us. They will approve and add affiliation buttons and occasionally find new sites to affiliate with. Additionally, they will be in charge of maintaining our presence on resource sites such as RPG-D, Pixel-Perfect, etc. with bumping our ads, responding to RP site requests, and keeping us on the radar.
We do not expect a hardcore, tiresome grind of advertising from an Ad Mod. However, we do expect reliability, consistency, and most importantly, communication whenever possible.
Academy Moderator/Manager. This is a new specific task that falls under the position of Story Moderator. However, unlike other Story Mods the primary and only task of the Academy Mod will be to host IC Academy-specific events such as field trips, special guests, mysterious findings and happenings, etc. They will roleplay the NPC Headmaster and various NPCs such as faculty members or guests. The Academy Mod may not include their own characters as a featured part of any official Academy thread, however. The characters may be present in the thread but should not have any major influence on it. The Academy mod must be able to write for NPCs, create mini Academy events consistently, and run everything by the admin and fellow story mods in a timely manner before execution. The Academy Mod will work closely with our current Application Moderator, Kitty, who also will help out in the role.
The Academy Mod is expected to be able to take constructive criticism and communicate with the rest of the staff team as needed.
Story Mod. We are hiring one more Story Mod to assist with writing up lore, specifically the upcoming tasks of a detailed Academy guide with fellow Story Mods, upcoming IC quests/tasks that will contribute to future major events, Wildes regions, and possibly more in the future. Story Mods are expected to be able to take constructive criticism, produce material in a timely manner, and communicate as needed.
Please fill out the form below and PM it to me Izalie onsite if you are interested. Thank you very much for your consideration! <3
