In a world of myths and mysteries, the pinnacle of the magical academies exists. Eldritch Academy offers education to all ages and species but specializes in the study and training of one's innate mystical capabilities, often called Eldritch Energies, Powers, or Unknowns, but more formally known as their Talent. However, tensions run high with the nations only holding a fragile peace as the Talents that rival the epitomes of technology change the balance of power.

The Story Thus Far...

With the more recent uprising of evil Shades and introduction of combat-oriented programs into Talent-focused schools, nations grow more aggressive towards one another. The demand for resources grows, and skirmishes at the border of Arka and Mistere become more frequent. Monsters run into the nations from the Wildes, terrorizing villages and cities. The need for trained or in-training Hunters and Guardians has never been more urgent.

STAR WARS ALTERNATE UNIVERSE (SWAU) is a crossover between the Rebellion and Old Republic Eras. We use elements from both, including canon characters, powers, plot material, ect. On SWAU, you can explore all aspects of the Star Wars universe — become a ruthless Sith Lord, balanced Jedi Master, clever intelligence agent, crafty smuggler, and so much more. We allow humans and some alien species to be played, along with infinite Force-sensitive characters. Canon-divergence is also permitted and very encouraged.

SWAU is currently set in 2 BBY, meaning that we are two years from the events of A New Hope. The Sith Empire lives again; with the help of former Jedi Knight Darth Vader, Emperor Sidious has revived the once-believed extinct Sith Order. The Republic and the Jedi still stand their ground against the might of the Empire, but the Republic is slowly being backed into a corner. This is a very dark time in galactic history.
