Height: 5'11
Appearance:
.
Personality: At a first impression, Aethon appears overwhelmingly lighthearted and bright, there is a positive and radiant atmosphere in her presence, despite being a quiet individual. This nature and atmosphere have a particular habit of maintaining itself within the grimmest of circumstances. Her atmosphere signifies compassion and gentleness in energy: there is sympathy, empathy, and tenderness. Adding to these attributes, she is reasonably smooth and docile, her persistent quality to be unfazed in the worst of situations. In all these senses, what truly fuels her quantities, is the desire to understand motives, reasonings, and workings of the world. However, if she has these quantities, why must she understand them?
Camouflaged through giggles, conversations, and social celebrations, it is isolation or question of heart, that her confident demeanor wavers. Truth told Aethon is limited in emotions, positioned within her heart is an abyss, and by her raising, she is restricted, aloof and listless. Thus, it can be the smallest thing she can feel, the emotion and the sensations that circled her, that cause a craze, a sickness and as such, a seed of crippling nothingness sown so deep with tangled roots to every fiber of her being. When compared to others, there is a dangerous side, a ferocious, repressed, all from abused and its an alternate identity. Immortality is excellent, but being reborn? Scars remain, they linger and bearing a curse, a curse to her soul and spirit, it sings and dances, it is an urge that she always ignore or repress. Be it one reason towards her 'self-loathing' and 'self-destructive' quantities, and be it another for her faulty conscience grace her with no valid line separating right and wrong. As the phoenixes themselves as said, she is kin that must be watched and directed for into the genuine.
History:
{CLICK} At her center foundation, Aethon is an individual birthed to Hisakawa, with Thunderbird and Phoenix lineage, and nobility heritage. Prior her rescue from misfortunate and tragedy in her mid-adolescent, Aethon had a marvelous childhood, a supportive mother and a reinforcing father, both serving as high ranking guards for nobility and thus, providing exceptional conditions to raise their daughter without lacking. Inheriting attunement to the weather and fire from her respective parent, it was the mother that sought privacy, while the father sought solitude. Fearing the abduction of their daughter due to their title as royal guards, they kept their daughter inside shielding privacy for eight years, however, the father delicately developing his daughter's abilities. By age nine, her father appointed his daughter to a royal heir, of a similar age as her, as his guard and thus, began to train her for this noble purpose.
Reaching the age of thirteen, a period of a ceremony, from the countless and endless sessions of training from her father and studies of her mother, Aethon held dignity and anxiety, various pressure with this responsibility. As exceptional as her parents were, there was one thing they forgot to teach their daughter, and that was to speak her feelings, to talk about her troubles and thoughts, and thus, never correctly instructing how to live to the fullest. Other people thought, her mother and father did not love her plenty, rushing her into early adulthood than allowing her a blissful childhood, but wasn't it still marvelous? Power and control over toys and friends? Concerned and considering her future over the smaller things, her parents did their best to care for Aethon, caring too much about the future than the current, because the current needs that were the ones did not get met.
A year after the ceremony and becoming the personal guard of, Gaius, the royal son. One day, one unfortunate and fated day, Aethon explored the market place with Gaius, a place they frequently revisit, but this time, Aethon started her first period, her first molding cycle and raised as a self-sufficient individual, an independent being, she believed it to be an embarrassment to her parents and forced herself to serve Gaius like any other day. Without acknowledging her feelings or emotions on the focus, ignoring her developing fatigue and weird sensations, she followed Gaius, until she halted with a lethargy sensation overcoming her. Noticed by Gaius, he demanded her to sit, fetching a spice essence, he offered it and his shoulder, saying this was enough adventure for one day and that it was best to return because he wasn't strong enough to carry her massive arse. Sadly, as he offered his shoulder and began their travel back, they were ambushed by armed men, wielding sinister and corrupt magic, and despite her worsening condition, caught between the two worst circumstances, Aethon decided to use all her strength to throw Gaius over the side of the bridge into the raging river, thrusting her warding charm into his chest.
After activating the shield spell, Aethon fainted, resulting in her capture by a warring fraction, and in a twisted truth, Aethon was the real target. Awaking in a cage with spiritual chains binding to her body, her capturers demanded answers, along with attempting to use Aethon as bait for her mother and father. With numerous refusals by her, she became a subject to sluggish and severe torment until death, no matter how hard she swung against her bindings, she couldn't escape, and again, and again, and again, she was resurrected and murdered. Refusing to believe their daughter simply perished, her parents began years of wrath and hatred, seizing and invading privacy, leading madness. For years, she endured in this torment, it hurt and the nothingness she was forced to, it was scary and devoided, a nightmare leading into another, and when killing her got old, she was forced into killing others, in a battle royale type of situation: in fear of the nothingness influenced her barbarian qualities without any remorse.
Upon the tip of derangement, an injured Aethon located within madness and despair was wholly unsightly and heartbreaking, especially for the parents. Her mother, Thone came to her rescue first, ignoring her safety while in a blind rage, costing her life to save her child from corrupting taint, drainage of vitality, something a Phoenix will recover from, but not a Thunderbird. In the end, Thone forced herself to carry her daughter back to their 'nest', meeting up with the father, Gaius and his family for proper treatment on Aethon's behalf. After the messy ordeal and death of Thone, a Phoenix Order got involved, influencing a grieving father, Aeo into offering his daughter into their protective custody, noticing the differences in his daughter. Both the Order and Aeo fearing the influence of the moon than the sun, and with their studying, Aethon did not take any transformations or use any talents, despite being extremely trained in usage, and she did not have the same air, appearing as a shell of her formal self.
With the transfer of custody, the Phoenix Order lied to Aethon, announcing her departure to Eldritch Academy as a recovery for her improvement, something she denied altogether, until becoming a guard to someone else, and she was still difficult on the subject. Thus, placed on the path to recovery in Eldritch Academy, believing it'll benefit the promising Songbird, a girl to a shattered family, a heart that couldn't grieve, and she was not sent alone, but with assistant.

Culture/Origin of Species:
{Thunderbird}
Ever heard the thunder clap? The sound of beating rain? Lightning striking the earth as if sounding the drums of change? These are the Thunderbirds. Coming from a part of Mistere that only certain species could live, for thunder and lightning, hail and storm make life below practically a harsh windy no man's land. Female and male thunderbirds never live in the same place until marriage, as it is tradition for Thunderbirds to remain abstain until the union for life. Tribal markings indicate married couples. Other forms of markings indicate children that are coming of age, elderly thunderbirds reaching their final day and people of significant authority such as Shamans and Chiefs.
In the modern days thanks to certain magics and sciences, special lightning rods have been placed in the Thunderbirds’ territory(with their permission) in order to house the species’ incredible electricity to power the cities. The birds even maintain a power plant found in the Eye of the Storm, a special place only the Thunderbirds know of. They are also seen doing weather reports. Students who enroll into educational institutes are given special battery packs in order to prevent any accidental electrocution. This especially notable in younger Thunderbirds where their power is not fully controlled by their will.
In Thunderbird culture, there is a sort of position ranking. The Elder Shaman is of the highest authority, however the Chief rivals said authority in order to ensure a balanced opinion. Shamans come after Chiefs and Elder Shaman to act as advisors and consultants. The Chief's spouse is then next in power, followed by his/her children. Everyone else is of equal power. Currently there are over 23 different Thunderbird tribes, each with a unique marking for their tribe.

{Phoenix}While the species has its roots in mediterranean climates and ancient mythology, the Phoenixes as a whole spread throughout the world and assimilated into nearly every society once able to shapeshift into human form. Most cultures have a form of the original pre-war mythos, and thus this species is shaped where the individual grew up. No matter what, though, they are nearly fearless in dangerous situations, making them a fiery, altruistic, and impulsive people. This derives from their disregard for death, since they can be reborn in flames and rise from the ashes once again.
One constant strictly to Phoenix culture is their mecca, hidden away in a secret land simply called Aubade. It's the place where the very first phoenix, Vissarion, still resides with a group of the earliest ancestors. They form the Bask Council and hand down the sun religion and rules for all other phoenixes. While mostly silent, they primarily provide political guidance and orders when needed, as well as the guidelines and rules for rebirth.
The soul of a phoenix after death travels to a spiritual world that is different for each individual, but the challenges and choices made there shape the new phoenix they will become. It tests the strength of character and will, and can have impact on anything from personality to retaining memories of the previous life. Vissarion is said to have one eye in the spiritual realm, making sure phoenixes remain a lawfully aligned species.
Rebirth is not to be taken lightly, since being immortal comes with responsibilities to everyone. Those reborn that chose selfishly or fail some aspects during their spirit trial can become chaotically aligned. Suicide is the heaviest taboo, since it is usually used selfishly to get back to the spiritual world and make changes, good or bad. Vissarion will see such things and dispatch enforcers to either force another rebirth as a reset of sorts, or to ensure the offender dies permanently should they be set on becoming a blight on the Phoenix race. While it is stated that the removal of a soul is permadeath akin to any other races death, there is a rumor that the souls are possibly contained somewhere in Aubade, in a vessel trapped in an inescapable afterlife.

Traits:
Thunderbird -
• Masters of the weather, Thunderbirds create thunderstorms and hurricanes with minimal effort. It is however controlling these storms that show the true masters from the new ones.
Phoenix
• Immortality: Phoenixes can die, yes, but they are reborn either in a fiery blaze or rise up from the ashes within hours. They have 3 points in vitality.
• Pyromancy: Naturally attuned to flame, phoenixes are more adept with using the element to both harm and protect, and sometimes as a source of spooky divination.
Flaws:
Thunderbird
• Thunderbirds need to constantly discharge their electricity. Younger thunderbirds do it without compromise while inside Thunderbird territory however are given special battery packs that sap their electricity to prevent them from going trigger happy. Older thunderbirds, having a more developed organ, do not need to worry about going trigger happy but still need to ensure they don't built up too much.
Phoenix
• Molting: Molting happens about once a month, and renders a phoenix exhausted and lazy. It's almost like an illness such as a cold, where they will appear less than healthy and cough ash. This lasts anywhere from 1 to 4 days, but robs them of their flames until the fire is rekindled and burns the molting away.
