welcome to Eldritch Academy
In a world of myths and mysteries, the pinnacle of the magical academies exists. Eldritch Academy offers education to all ages and species but specializes in the study and training of one's innate mystical capabilities, often called Eldritch Energies, Powers, or Unknowns, but more formally known as their Talent. However, tensions run high with the nations only holding a fragile peace as the Talents that rival the epitomes of technology change the balance of power.
With the more recent uprising of evil Shades and introduction of combat-oriented programs into Talent-focused schools, nations grow more aggressive towards one another. The demand for resources grows, and skirmishes at the border of Arka and Mistere become more frequent. Monsters run into the nations from the Wildes, terrorizing villages and cities. The need for trained or in-training Hunters and Guardians has never been more urgent.

Practicing her skills with everything from theft to fighting was certainly a thing that Elise enjoyed doing, the better she got.. Well at this point it was largely just a pride point, expect for recollecting the pages of her grimoire that had scattered when she ascended to an Inugami from a simple canine demon halfling. "Why hello there." on her way to another job the young teenager found a bird landed upon her finger chirping happily. Too bad it wasn't dead, she liked things rotting much more, but she could fix that if she really wanted to! After-all she was carrying a massive scythe.

Allison read through the outline of her current mission once more as she walked through the hall. It seemed simple enough, get in, get rid of the ghosts, get out. Granted, she'd never fought a ghost before but how hard could it be, especially since she wasn't going alone. Her partner was going to be a surprise to her, even more so when she walked right into her. "Crap! Sorry, I really should pay more attention..." She muttered, stepping back from the other girl. "So, are you Elise? If you are than I'm Allison, we're both assigned to the ghost job, right?" She said, trying to make the situation less awkward and move things along.

Fighting was far from difficult for Elise since she was raised to defeat powerful opponents in order to have a job. Feeling the other girl bump into her from the side she swung her scythe backwards hearing the metal bottom hit the ground and turning on her heel intending to swing at whoever had bumped into her. Luckily, she stopped short, large red eyes staring at the other girl as her tail twitched beneath her dress. "oh." it was her mission partner, she'd nearly the girl who was supposed to go on this mission with her. Elise blinked, returning her weapon to lay over her shoulder. "Sorry but you're right, being careful is essential you never know how someone is trained." father raised a stab happy set of twins, she liked slashing at anything since life and death meant little to a necromancer. "But yes, I'm Elise. Are you ready to go?" she wanted to do the mission quickly as she could for a good payday.

When the scythe was swung around Allison stepped back, one hand hovering over the hilt of the knife on her thigh. She let out a slight sigh when the other girl introduced herself. "Ok, good, at least I found the right person..." She said, chuckling a little to try to get through the tension. After a slight pause Allison managed to regain her composure and ready herself, vanishing from in front of Elise only to reappear a few feet behind her. "Ready when you are." She replied, turning and starting to move towards the mansion.

Tension easing. Haha. When someone like Elise was around? It was unlikely that tension would be entirely absent as tension was often required to make negativity which was her food source. Making tension, was the same as creating her own food for Elise leaving her with no morals on how heavily she had to bully someone to obtain that. "Oh come off it, you don't have to stand so far away, I'm only dangerous when I'm hungry, which I am not right now." of course she was always a bit hungry as an Inugami but she had slowly learned to tell when she actually had to eat versus the never-ending feeling that she was not full.
Looking away briefly she removed a large bound book from her outfit, the book was odd as it had a skull on the front and was missing all but one page. "Ilium, come out." she spoke and the single page flew straight out of the book seeming to be made of various kinds of bodily tissue, fluids and bones slowly unfolding then increasing in size to reveal a dragon. Elise was quick to use the handle of her weapon as a ramp to walk up and sit at the dragons shoulder blades. "Come on, we'll fly there it's quicker." the kid extended her hand as if offering to help the older girl onto the undead dragons back.

Allison watched the dragon form and stared in awe for a second. "Damn...That's some ability you've got there." She said before warping up onto the dragon's back, sitting behind Elise. "Thanks for not eating me too, I guess. Well, since you know how to fly this thing let's get going."

Some ability? The young necromancer looked over at the other girl, wondering why anyone would be awed by her power. Sure, her power was not the most common but she had seen others- that had all been in the world she had been born in. Looking down briefly the girl realized it was possible she was one of very few necromancers, that it was an exceedingly rare ability here. Who knew. She didn't care to. Elise simply nodded at that comment, pushing her feet inwards onto her dragon once they were both mounted to let the undead beast know it could take off. "Eh, it's not people I eat, it's their emotions. I just get violent when I'm too hungry." and with something like the power of an inugami, being violent could have heavy consequences.
