The girl heard the nervousness of her friend on the other end and sighed slightly upon hearing that. Seriously? Of course, no one had explained this stuff to her either when she was first dropped off, so it didn't surprise the blood devil. "It'll be alright. Hellhounds aren't dangerous unless exposed to excess moonlight according to species studies, so no one will care if you're going out during the day. You likely just have an early curfew or have to stay somewhere overnight until travel is safe again." she explained the logic of it, walking into the kitchen with the phone to start digging for something to eat like blood packs, she was starving like always. "I wanted to gossip with you about something weird that happened during a mission they sent me on, or something." she shrugged yanking the cap of a blood pack off with her teeth and spitting it into the trash so she could suck the blood out from inside of the pack. "So you coming?" hopefully, otherwise today would be an excessively boring day for absolutely no reason.

The young devil finished her blood pack and swiftly deposited the object into the trash bin so she could go do something else around the house. "I've been biting things I shouldn't lately, if I was you than I'd definitely bring something." she had been biting a lot lately for being a peaceful blood devil, heck she had taken down an assassin by biting him, which would be a great story to tell Shizuko, possibly. "In terms of remaining fed, Mr.Ozaki keeps me well fed, but that doesn't stop the emotional hunger for blood and ever since I transferred that's been getting worse." in fact just before moving in with dawn, apparently she had threatened to smear someone all over the walls just to see it, for some reason or another. "Dawn is taking me shopping, until than some of the stuff here fits. Though if you could stop by that shop where I got that big blue hoody before, it and my phone got torched. I'll tell you about that later too." she had an eventful few weeks since joining the academy. Most of the events? Slowly were leading her to believe that maybe she should receive the same training most devils did for bloody jobs, it was getting so hard to deny her desire now that she had seen it.

The young blood devil spent the time while waiting for Shizuko to find something decent to throw on before the other girl got to the house. In the end? She found a nice fish patterned dress, while not her style it was still nice clothing that would do for the moment. However, the location she found the clothing was alarming as it was laid out on her bed as if someone got it out for her, even though she was alone in the house. Why did she feel like her statement of being alone was now inaccurate even though nothing living was around? Oh well, she could think about it later on. 

Hearing the stutter at the front door, she quickly descended the stairs to get the door, only to find for some reason the door opened without her touching it. Luckily? She was close enough that the other girl could easily believe she had been the one to open the door. "Come in, the living room is this way, I think.." she was still getting used to the lay out, going up the hall a few archways and turning into the living room. Why was the tv already on? She hadn't turned that on. Oh Well. 

If someone else saw Shizuko learning on her without being aware of everything, it could look dangerous since the Blood Devil was so short but as she had recently gotten to see on a quest, she was much stronger than she needed to be at her size. "They have lots of typical ones. I also don't get pulled out anymore, I got to partake in a dissection during biology yesterday. What you'll need to watch out for is that several of the classes are also geared towards teaching people how to be Hunters, Guardians, and Scholars, plus there are talent combat classes." In general the school seemed geared towards teaching students how to enter society as anything that was not the typical office manager or such, completely different from their last school that was entirely normal save for hosting a Blood Devil for years. "I guess my presence did make the place interesting." she chuckled, realizing it was likely really quiet there now without her. 

Looking at the items she realized that Shizuko may have over drafted herself a bit in terms of using money, which was slightly alarming because she didn't know if the other girl still had her job. Quickly she discovered that the girl had been fired by the small company that clearly didn't understand the requirements of her species. "That actually leads nicely into our upcoming conversation. I can actually make more money in a single afternoon that you made in a week at that place. Though I lost what I had made recently I activated my talent a few days ago." Nyx activating her talent was actually an odd thing because if she didn't control it finely enough she lost everything on her person to underworld flame! It was unpleasant but most clothing and such was not built to withstand the ravenous nature, only the body of creatures who wielded it could do that. "The school lets students take on formal quests, I made 3,000 shard on my first one!" which was a pretty decent pay considering that something like an adventures pet license cost roughly 1,000 shard at the local marketplace. 

After stating that she sighed slightly sitting down on a chair and picking up a blank piece of paper, hoping her old powers would decide to work here. Luckily they did and on the paper quickly appeared the image she wanted, pin pricking sensation spreading across her heart. "Have we ever seen someone who looks like this before? When I was on a quest a desire demon trapped me in an illusion, I saw him there, but I don't know who he is. I think the demon may have been broken." she chuckled slightly, sliding the picture of an extremely tall man, bone white hair, blue eyes, armored with some sort of weapon in hand. Neither of them had seen him while they were together, which was odd since they had been together since daycare. So how could Nyx have seen the man when Shizuko didn't? 

After having handed the piece of paper over to Shizuko, the devil picked up another one and once more made a picture of the man on it, just because she wanted another one. Why did she seem to see his face all the time now when she stopped for a little while? Nyx couldn't understand it, ever since her memories got erased she had never been in love like she was before, the little creature didn't even know she was missing such a long span of memories, equal or greater than the time she remembered being alive. "Basically specialists, dealing with the monsters and such in the world, from what I gathered." eventually this world's law enforcement must have been unable to keep up with the vast array of species that inhabited it, resulting in adventurers being the next best line of defense. Slowly, Nyx found herself turning into one of those lines of defense. "Actually you've seen a Hunter work before, I didn't realize it until Eldritch but my Father is a Hunter of sorts, though I think his formal job is mercenary." he occasionally would let them tag along if the monster he was slaying didn't happen to be exceptionally dangerous or if it was just some body guard job. Certainly explained how he was able to afford some of the stuff he lavished on.


"Yeah. We're far from the only non humans, every single day we over looked it all the time because our parents didn't raise us to think about it, but half or more of the people you passed on the way here likely weren't human. Heck, Dawn isn't human, I haven't seen a human up close since I enrolled" not a single one of the students she had encountered so far was any bit human, it was actually great to see the variety and how they each had to live differently because of it. Only a pinch, it convinced her that maybe trying to live like she was one of the human species was the wrong thing to do, in spite of the nature of her own kind. "THEY DIDN'T TELL YOU?!" instantly Nyx dropped the picture she had been staring at, standing up and throwing the table away from the scene, hearing it crash somewhere as her telekinesis shot the furniture away from them. Nyx knew how dangerous the flame burning on the floor was, what it would do it she didn't stop it. This was trouble. 

Taking a deep breathe the young female knew the best way to deal this would be to consume Shizuko's hellfire with her own. Jumping forward she embraced Shizuko, wrapping the other girl in her wings as well, in a single instance they were surrounded by fire. "Shh, calm down it's likely connected in part to your emotions." with her eyes closed she focused knowing if she lost her own control the entire place was going to burn. "I apologize for this, we'll put new clothing on after this, it's flame from the underworld, the best way for me to help is to smother it with my own underworld fire since I can send mine back but no one's taught you to do so, yet." the small girls clothing had already burned away easily the flimsy material no match for the searing heat of the flames. "Just take a breathe, you're a Hellhound, you can't burn in this." as she spoke the female finally felt the other flame extinguish and let her own go out, leaving only a small burn mark on the floor.

She was going to rue explaining to Dawn later why there was a sizable char on the hardwood floor within the living room and why every single piece of furniture had been flung to the edges of the room. However, that was for later once she made sure Shizuko was not going to randomly light the entire house on fire. Quickly she just bit into the other girl, drinking blood rapidly to possibly make the other girl a bit light headed to give her more ability to calm quicker. "Calm down, if you're going to transform just do it, likely hurts more to hold it back. Hellhounds only lose their minds when exposed to excess moonlight, you'll be fine it's morning." luckily she paid attention during classes, thus knew for sure that the species was fine during the day even if they had a reputation for being a bit rough and such. Thinking she tried to recall how large the class had claimed a transformed Hellhound stood. "Though we may want to go out back before you complete the transformation, if you've reached full height already, you could be ten feet tall give or take." with that comment she gestured towards the path outback, strolling towards the backdoor and exiting it herself.
