welcome to Eldritch Academy
In a world of myths and mysteries, the pinnacle of the magical academies exists. Eldritch Academy offers education to all ages and species but specializes in the study and training of one's innate mystical capabilities, often called Eldritch Energies, Powers, or Unknowns, but more formally known as their Talent. However, tensions run high with the nations only holding a fragile peace as the Talents that rival the epitomes of technology change the balance of power.
With the more recent uprising of evil Shades and introduction of combat-oriented programs into Talent-focused schools, nations grow more aggressive towards one another. The demand for resources grows, and skirmishes at the border of Arka and Mistere become more frequent. Monsters run into the nations from the Wildes, terrorizing villages and cities. The need for trained or in-training Hunters and Guardians has never been more urgent.

"It's a long road When you face the world alone No one reaches out a hand For you to hold" It passed like ages since she ever stepped beyond the academy's limits, and this could easily be her very first time lurking on such a huge city like this one. She was a wolf and as such, she was more used to the wildness to be on forests, mountains, and grasslands. But her time on the campus made her get used to a more artificial environment with those rooms, doors, and windows. But today she wanted to give the outside world a try. But of course, she felt safer in her wolf form so she padded through the streets in said form. But her shy nature made her move with caution within her steps, her ears were pinned just like her tail. Her eyes reflected bother fear and curiosity. Fear toward this new place, but the curiosity came from the desire of exploring it. Her nose remained tall as she wanted to discover new scents. Until now nothing was disgusting, just peace. And after some time, the wolf would reach a weird looking place. A big square where many people walked from side to side. She would hide behind a trashcan, silently observing. "Speech"NOTE: She is in her wolf form

The Vamp Wolf | The tall young man could be found walking through all these streets and the like, trying to waste away some of the free time he now had after having finished all the small errands he had on his mental to do list. Since he didn't have any classes on this particular day, he clearly had to entertain himself without any help, but at this point of time, his strategy wasn't working all that well. On second thought however, it wasn't even strategy. He was just wandering around since he didn't know what to do. There were so many people out and about right now, that he was frankly more displeased by this than anything else, having to squeeze himself through literally at some moments. It was like walking through a mass of ants, walking towards their destinations with utmost determination. Sigh.
Luckily, or perhaps not, he had managed to catch a whiff of an...adequate sounding distraction while making his way through one of the bigger squares that was on his path. Normal people-esque scents didn't bother him, as they all had some common qualities in that form, but why was there straight up wolf? It was a little unusual for someone to parade in an animal form, lest they risk getting trampled in places like this. Or maybe it was a strange pet he took notice of? Well, curiosity killed the cat, but he was definitely not one, so it was okay to go look where this was coming from, right? The smell of trash sucked too, by the way.
Catching sight of some dark fur from the corner of his eye, he would pause while still a couple feet away from where the hiding canine was, tilting his head at the scenery. "I don't think this is a good place to be camping out at....", he'd comment somewhat thoughtfully. He had half the mind to try to ask the four-legged being there, but he had no idea whether he'd get any answer or not. It was never an easy guess with full on animal seeming beings. |

She was more used to traversing the huge city than some other students were, having needed to do so in order to make it to the small school she attended before she had been transferred to Eldritch Academy a while back. Today, she had the day off and was just wandering around innocently, exploring the city further to see if she could find Askel anywhere, still having occasional trouble believing he'd actually abandoned her. "Yeah, outside the city is much better for camping!" the little girl who walked up behind Sharaku looked to be around six years old, and the second she stood there, most people gave them a few feet girth of space. The benefits of being recognized as a Blood Devil, no one wanted to stand too close! "I actually know a few great spots." she mused the next comment, skipping a step to stand right next to the tall man.

The day was normal in the square where people went about their business. The only thing unusual being the fact that some people had scattered at the appearance of a young looking girl that had joined a tall young man by a trash can where a wolf hid out. A wolf that had a particular emotion around it that drew out the nightmare known as Akumu Yume.
Fear. What a delicious snack! If only there was a bit more in the area then there would be a feast, but no one must not be greedy. Besides how could one study the creatures of reality if they were all running about in chaos? No. Today was not a day to start chaos, but surprises were perhaps in store as the creature materialized out of thin air. Floating down to the ground the nightmare would ignore the people that moved away or stared in shock at the strange thing that was there. There were so many beautiful emotions in the air, but the one that the nightmare focused on belonged to the wolf hiding behind the trash can. Walking over with a sway, the creature would look over at the tall young man and then the girl that was there as they spoke about camping.
With a blink the creature would kneel down and turn its attention to the trashcan and peeked around it at the wolf. “Trash does not suit such a beautiful creature,” the lamb would say in a soft voice feminine voice. “Won’t you come out?” it would ask with a tilt of its head watching the creature curiously from behind its mask. Mean while the scarf like wolf that hung around the strange creature would look at the other two there.
“A few great spots where?” it would ask in a deep masculine voice as it scanned the two there curiously.

What she was seeing was greatly interesting as she had never seen such place with so many people on there, but of course, she wasn't going to go and stand in the middle of the square. She wasn't that crazy to expose herself to potential danger, her survival instincts kept her out of the situations that could risk her life.
But as she kept observing she didn't notice the guy approaching her way. But she did when a stranger's voice reached her ears. That made her breath stop for a few seconds due to the big surprise it gave her, and slowly turns her lupine head to see a tall man. His scent was familiar but her memory didn't give her a good reference for meeting him. "I..." She didn't know what to respond to his suggestion. "I was exploring...the city ... I had curiosity over it." She explained with a shy tone within her words. Her ears pinned against the back of her skull.
But soon after, a new voice joined them, making her shyness grow a bit. Social stuff was still a bit terrifying for her, interacting with a big group of people was always her biggest weakness. "I actually know a few great spots." She spotted an apparently little girl. "Like where?..." Asked trying to appear normal but for someone as timid as her it was hard to hide her fear.
Before she stepped out of the "security" of the trashcan. “Trash does not suit such a beautiful creature,” Her ears pinned more and her tail took place between her legs. Noticing a new face coming, this time it didn't look like a human at all. And said person proposed her to come out. Slowly she would come out still in a submissive body language. So she just stood there saying anything else. "SPEECH"

The Vamp Wolf | Exploring behind a trashcan? Sharaku would tilt his head, not quite sure how to take that response. It was a little contradictory to say you were exploring, but be hiding away in a corner pretty much. Before he could come up with any sound reply though, a more cheerful voice interjected into the situation. Turning his head to glance at the small girl, he’d blink before offering a deadpan comment. “You’re not stalking me, are you?” He wasn’t worried, but still, it was almost a valid question? On the other hand, he’d take it either way, only because it meant less people in his vicinity, apparently. A people deterrent was useful to have. “I think that’d require leaving the city though?” Not that he minded as he had nothing left he needed to do here, but their current furry company did express wanting to explore the city.
….people weren’t staying away as much as expected however, as an odd stranger casually waltzed past them, going right up to the already scared canine. Frowning slightly, he’d eye the clearly audacious newcomer. “Excuse you, I don’t think going right up into someone’s face makes them calmer, you know?” Taking jabs at people aside, this was getting a lot more complicated than he had expected it to be when he first took a brief stop to check out an unusual occurrence. “So….” |

While someone who had not been around her for a while may consider it unusual people scattered around where she stood? Nyx was well adjusted to it and had long ago stopped paying any mind to it, even though she knew it was out of fear there was nothing she could do convince them that they didn't need to be afraid of her. Oh well, she could only focus on the people who did decide to gather around her, or at least didn't pick to flee like cowards. When she thought of cowards? For some reason her blood boiled intensely in a way she had not experienced before she truly started thinking of who was brave and who was not in this world. Paying attention to the lamb and its wolf, she wondered how exactly the creature seemed to exist as two at once, questioning if there was a book on such things.
"Well the best camping spots are the big forest landmarks scattered across the country, but there are some good small woodlands nearby. We can go camping sometime if you guys would like." she spoke, elfin ears flicking briefly as she turned her horns into their ram formation to hope the wolf would be a bit less afraid if one part of her looked a little less dangerous. Camping was actually fun and she hadn't gone on any camping trips in years, her last one being when Askel had to hunt that chimera a few summers before. While he searched the mountain forest for the monster? She had been allowed to run around the forest at the base of the mountain all she wanted to, it had been a great way to spend her summer.
Looking at Sharaku she scrunched her face up and scoffed audibly at him crossing her arms before turning her head to the side in feigned disgust. "As if I'd stalk someone like you! On a more serious note, if I was stalking you, I'd be up on the roof with binoculars taking notes." while she was raised to be completely pacifist, the girl had been on several hunting trips with Askel where sometimes she broke the rule to see what he did for a living, got to watch him preform the job of a mercenary hunter. Of course, Askel always caught her before long and promptly returned her home instead of letting her stay with him. Eventually, she stopped because the little devil knew it was very difficult for him to find someone willing to baby sit her. "I just really like exploring freely, until I came into Dawn's care I was encouraged to stay home when I wasn't at school." she made the comment, laughing slightly. "I doubt she wants to go downtown the way she seems to be hiding already. We could explore out towards the edges of town more." however since she figured it was one of Dawn's days off she wouldn't invite them back to the place, even if it was right at the edge of town with a large amount of woods surrounding it. Who knew what the occult teacher was doing today.

The creature was unconcerned about whether what it did was proper or not. While it did not want to scare intentionally or make negative emotions grow stronger around a thing, the fact of the matter was that it still loved the delicious taste of those negative emotions when they were around. So the fear that this wolf was showing. It was a wonderful snack for the creature as it remained kneeled down eyeing the wolf.
It would hear the conversation of the others, taking note of the wolf’s behavior, the offer of camping, and banter between the strange little girl and tall young man. It would take all of this in quietly as it considered what to respond to.
“Curiosity is a great thing to have,” it would say keeping unblinking eyes on the wolf. “It is a way to learn even when we are terrified of the possibilities.” The creature would shift a bit in its spot before addressing the man that had called it out on its action. “Is it usual for you to try to find fault with the way someone approaches a thing the first time you meet them?” it would ask him curiously. After all the creature wasn’t here to soothe anything, but rather satisfy its curiosity over why a few had gathered around a trashcan with a wolf behind it. Besides, its approach couldn’t have been too wrong because the scared creature did come out although in a bit of a submissive way.
The lamb would stay where it was as it tilted its head at the creature as the wolf addressed the other two.
“We have never been camping before, but we can agree the forest and woodland are good places to explore. They are very calming. Much more than the city. However, we should let this one decide no?” The wolf would ask as it looked back over at the scared wolf.
“What would you like to do, Ms….?” The creature would ask in a soft tone nonthreatening tone as it let the last part trail off allowing the scared wolf to say its name if she wanted to.
