He knew how to count anyway. That said, he wouldn’t move for now, doing some mental calculations in his head about how long this was taking. The vampire hadn’t asked him to help out, so he technically had no need to rush until he determined whether his assistance was necessary or not, in case his companion wasn’t going to try and make him do some of the work at all.

When Ozaki came out of the stall he’d find that Sharaku was still standing there. As he was this was a minor annoyance… He’d like to get home sometime this night. He would probably sleep like the dead when he finally did get to it. Which would be so very nice. He walked past Sharaku, then offered him the other pitch fork that he had gotten. He was reaaaally trying not to say a word to Sharaku. Dude… That was more effort than it was worth. “Other stalls to do.” He grunted, not making eye contact with the were-vampire.

Well, personally his concern for a lot of time passing wasn’t a big one. He could stay here all night, really. He already knew he wasn’t going to be able to sleep tonight, so it didn’t matter where he was and what he was doing. Though to be fair, less time in this animosity filled atmosphere would probably be a positive thing. Especially considering he had to actually ignore the urge to use the pitchfork to stab the vampire. As much as he didn’t have a problem with himself getting angry, it did have the unfortunate effect of making him be more aggressive than was maybe appropriate. Too bad he couldn’t afford to act on it anyway, unless he wanted to get into trouble. He wasn’t that reckless. He’d settle for giving the guy a cold stare for a few moments before he walked off to one of the stalls. Eh, not like the guy would know what he was thinking about regardless….

Okay… Well that was intense. But it was cool. Everything was cool. Ozaki returned back to his own work, clearing out multiple stalls. By the time he got his half of the remaining stalls done he figured that now would be just as good of a time as any to start bringing in the unicorns. Maybe Sharaku was almost done, maybe he was not. But Ozaki wanted to get to his bat cave and just sleep all day for once.

Battigan chirped a hello to Sharaku as Ozaki passed the stall the were-vampire was working in with a couple of unicorns. One by one would take too long… And he just wanted to get the heck out of here now.

Well, he was mostly done. From what he could see at the very least. He'd turn his head when he heard the bat, opting to just nod slightly in acknowledgment instead of replying. He wasn't going to try to chat with the guy's bat right now. That'd probably be far too awkward, and to be honest, he didn't have much of an interest in it either way. Despite being half vampire, he wasn't that much of a bat person. Sure, he could get along with them, and was fine working with them from time to time when need be, but they were not his first choice of a companion. Then again, his typical choice of company was absolutely no company as he liked his alone time.

Regardless, he'd walk off to put away all the equipment to where it was supposed to be, before heading back to check whether there was anything else he still needed to do at that point.

After they, or perhaps just Ozaki, had put away all the unicorns, all that would be left to do was feed them. Which was as simple as putting the hay that was apparently different than the hay they had in their stalls which they did not try to eat. Ozaki was considerably faster at this part, taking less care in what just amounted to putting the rolls into the food troughs in front of the stables.

He left half of the feeding of the unicorns up to Sharaku and headed over to the owners to get his pay for the day. And night.

He had no reason to hurry like he had feral dogs chasing after his ass unlike the other, so he'd spend some more time watching the unicorns while feeding them instead of rushing through it. Still, there was only so much time he could waste there without having a reason, and he didn't want to have to give explanations to the owners. Thus he'd too, leave the place, some time after the vampire. He took note of the fact that the guy didn't even bother to say bye, but at this point he wasn't sure expecting basic decency from the guy outside of what was actually completely necessary was even viable. He didn't think it would hurt to but whatever. It just made him wonder whether the vampire acted like this to anyone he really disagreed with on something. Because if that was the case, his overly helpful and nice front that he was putting on otherwise was kind of questionable....

Meh, either way, time for him to go wander somewhere perhaps...there was no way he was sleeping...
