What was the difference now? The difference was at this point he had been stalked by the gangsters for weeks now and at this point he was just used to it. Supposedly they were there to protect him, he’d gone and asked at some point. If they were really there to protect him… Theoretically there would be no danger in just going up and talking to them.

He was still freaked out by the notion. But if they went about just wandering around blindly for hours and it turned out that their answer was right behind them the whole time that was going to be so much of an annoyance to Sharaku.

If there were any intention on harming him they would have done it by now as well. There was no danger. Just a constant prickle of being watched on the back of his neck that creeped him out. “I’ll do it.” Ozaki grumbled, for once not bothering to keep the disgruntlement out of his voice. It wasn’t like Sharaku couldn’t sense his emotional state anyways. Ozaki turned around and started walking up to the woman gangster that had been tailing him. Her surprise was evident, Ozaki had only walked up to them a total of one time thus far, and that hadn’t been her that the had approached.

As he walked over his expression change a few times, trying to figure out the right one before finally running his had through his hair and deciding to screw it. They were gangsters, and they knew he wasn’t a fan of their boss or his sire. So pretending to smile politely for their sake? No. “Hey. Question. I don’t suppose there are any vampires in your ranks that have momentarily descended into a feral status?”

“Other than you?” She responded bluntly with a single eyebrow quirked. For the moment not answering his question directly. While Yuuki was technically part of their family now that did not mean all of them were particularly cozy toward someone who had tried to kill their gang’s boss and collective paternal figure. Sure he had been under the influence of tainted blood himself… But even without that his distaste for Mordred was clear and apparent. She wasn't particularly keen in answering such questions about their gang when she did not know why Ozaki was asking.

“That would imply we had any relationship whatsoever. I’m just here to make sure he doesn’t get his stupid ass killed.” The woman said, rolling her eyes a little. She would rather be doing something else rather than babysit, but Mordred was rather insistent. And if Yuuki died on her watch then it’d be her ass on the line.

“Like I told you guys, I’m not going to run into The- I mean I’m not going to run into that building. I’ll actually have a plan. Can you just tell us if you’ve had any incidents though? We’ve been trying to figure out what’s behind the multiple incidents recently, and we think it might be some sort of drug.” This was awful. Just awful. Two seconds talking to a gangster had gone just about as swimmingly as he thought it would. He was all manner of irritated and not even bothering trying to guss it up or hide it. Though he was avoiding mentioning the Church of Purity in front of Sharaku at least.

The woman looked confused at what Sharaku was saying, then squinted at him further. He looked… A little familiar some how. “I’m simply the best one for the job considering how slippery he is.” She was the best tracker the Bloods had, a Talented one. And she was being put on watching some fledgling. Ugh. And this place was jut awful. She was going to have to burn her boots after having them walking in a place like this.

She sneered a little distastefully at the idea of having to wander farther in this place. “If it’ll mean getting out of this place sooner all the better. I suppose… The answer is yes.” While she didn’t really want to be around the kid, Mordred was interested in him. Getting him back to the hideout of his own volition would either be good or terribly bad depending on how the kid acted when he was there. “I suppose you expect me to simply lead you to where they are…. Let me give you my assurances if you cause a ruckus like you did last time you’ll sorely regret it. I expect you to be on your best behavior if we run into Lord Mordred.”

Ozaki gritted his teeth a little, then managed to force a clearly fake smile. “Of course.” He’d just… Say as little as possible. Seeing as he could not imagine himself being particularly civil to the man.

“That’s up to you. Come now. I’ve had it up to here with this foul place.” She said, swinging around rapidly and making a swift exit, texting something on her phone as she did so. Best to have the proper people alerted that the slippy menace was coming over. She’d better keep an extra close eye on him. If she so much as looked away for a second Ozaki could be gone in a heartbeat.

Ozaki followed along, his mood decidedly sour as he did so. He was also more than a little worried to be going back there. Nothing bad would happen so long as he behaved well… But what exactly was this Mordred man’s standards for behaving well anyways? What would set him off? Ozaki knew nothing about him, and was frankly a little scared to. Though he was doing his best to keep such feelings under wraps as they walked. Couldn’t be thinking such thoughts around some one like Sharaku. But they had to go. That was as simple as that.
