In a world of myths and mysteries, the pinnacle of the magical academies exists. Eldritch Academy offers education to all ages and species but specializes in the study and training of one's innate mystical capabilities, often called Eldritch Energies, Powers, or Unknowns, but more formally known as their Talent. However, tensions run high with the nations only holding a fragile peace as the Talents that rival the epitomes of technology change the balance of power.
With the more recent uprising of evil Shades and introduction of combat-oriented programs into Talent-focused schools, nations grow more aggressive towards one another. The demand for resources grows, and skirmishes at the border of Arka and Mistere become more frequent. Monsters run into the nations from the Wildes, terrorizing villages and cities. The need for trained or in-training Hunters and Guardians has never been more urgent.

The vampire would press play in order to allow Jers to enjoy the show. Yeaaaah. Personally I’d avoid the whole dealio. I’d rather live as a pauper for a lifetime than a king for a day. Huuuuge turnover rates in that seat.
Mmmm. Would be Ozaki’s lethargic response to Jers complimenting his raspberry. Sleepy… How nice sleep would be. As another fit of coughing hit him Ozaki would double over the bowl, coughing for about a sold twenty seconds as about a dozen dime sized crystals were spewed out. They were all slathered in blood and deadly sharp. Ozaki stuck out his tongue and removed a crystal he vaguely felt lodged in his tongue, dropping it in the bowl. Wouldn’t want to get infested in more places in my body after all. Lungs are shit enough as is.

looking over as Ozaki coughed, he held back from touching the other in favor of not making him antsy.

Yah. Many much Bloods. I mean blood. Haha… No Bloods in that show.
When the coughing fit was finally over Ozaki would turn onto his side, not really paying attention to the TV any more. I hate this week. Its the worst. I can’t feel much… But being stuck here sucks. I can’t go out like this at all. Nnn I can’t really sleep solidly either, because coughing fits keep waking me up… But gotta cough. Gotta get em out. If these damn things weren’t neigh indestructible I’d breathe acid itself just to melt them down… then he could be at least coughing out a liquid rather than solid chunks. But muh lungs would melt first. Then the rest of my organs… That’d be a bummer.
Actually it’d depend on what kind of acid I used… Buuuuut again. Rosite Mana crystals are stubborn assholes. Imma throw one of these big ‘uns at Mordred’s head when I find ‘m. Give him my full thanks for this shitty trait.
… You’re so far awaaaaay. He’d suddenly complain, shifting targets rapidly. Wait a minute… Yah you should stay there. These blankets are gross and bloody and I’m not even sure if I got all the crystals into the bowl.

yawning as ozaki mentioned that he was too far, he gave a laugh, "I can change the bedding, love. just tell me where the spares are stored then I'll go get them. then we can cuddle.", he tells Oz suggestively with a teasing eyebrow wiggle.

Ozaki started to laugh, the sound coming out only as a rasping of air, followed by another hacking cough. Buh seriously. I throw something hard enough its gonna go through a person. Prolly shouldn’t murderlate a gang boss dude though… That’d be bad. Then again brains would heal up…. Ssshttil though.
The vampire peeled off the blood spotted comforter. There’s extra blankets in the hallway closet just on the right outside the room. Dun let the crystals cut you. They’ll burrow into your skin and feed on you.

I think I had about five thousand strokes in my sword by the time I was taken out of the war to be a dignitary.", he murmurs thoughtfully, "but murder isn't good, no matter. I wouldn't mind setting a trap or trick for this guy though." he snickered, thinking of his own friend now long dead who had been a yakuza. good times, those.
sneezing slightly, he nodded to agree about the crystals before leaving for the hall and getting new bedding and blankets for both of them. he would probably bundle himself up in one after getting ozaki settled comfortably under the comforter. he would have to work on the first comforter after they had some cuddles.

Well we ain’t playing no game of balls today. I’m waaaaay too high for that shit.
I love me some tricks. Mordred will rue the day he ever met me. I shall turn his world on its head and everything precious to him will be placed upside down! Ozaki tried a maniacal laughter, which instead caused him to hack loudly for a good ten seconds. This drug was apparently making him quite giggly right now… Not that it sounded like that. Both a good and bad thing. He needed to cough out the crystals, so making himself cough more was good. But also, considering what he was coughing out… It technically wasn’t doing him any favors. But also it was?
But whateverrrr. He was a vampire. This shit healed. And he couldn’t feel a thing right now. When Jers returned he’d come back to see Ozaki having another laughing coughing fit.
Hey. Hey. Tell me about these five thousand strokes on your sword. He’d think at Jers with an eyebrow waggle after he finished the latest coughing fit, having to hold in his laughter a bit so he could watch Jers reaction to that.

an attempt was made at holding back his laughter, howling at the comment on the ball game, snickering as he shook his head when he returned.
sitting down on the bed after laying out the blankets, he chuckled at that one, snorting and tossing his head backwards, "oh gods. so you want to know, huh? the army conquests or the bed conquests?", he snickered as he wrapped himself up in one of the blankets once he had gotten ozaki settled, settling in on the edge, grinning at him.

Ozaki grabbed one of the blankets himself. As a member of the undead temperature did not really matter- hence why his roommate was a flurry and the temperature of the apartment never went above sixty. But the comfort of the blankets was there nonetheless. Dude I was joking. Ozaki would elbow Jers at that. Sooo…. Lets go with army conquests I guess.

I was one of the top soldiers, close to a promotion, but my main work was well, entertaining the other soldiers and getting information out of our PsOW. It was good, but I was bred for the battlefield, not keeping the bodies of our soldiers well conditioned and relaxed.", a dramatic sigh as he chuckled softly, stretching and resting languidly.

PsOW... prisoner of war. Ozaki thought, his brain slow as molasses as he mulled through the acronym, scooting a bit closer so that he could at least be touching the blankets Jers was wrapped in. Probably shouldn’t get much closer than that though. Elsewise he’d cough blood and crystals all over the guy.
Well conditioned and relaxed huh?
Usually in a sober state Ozaki was able to passively and without much effort keep his teenage hormone addled mind from going too far down the rabbit hole with perverted thoughts and jokes. He was a professional and did his best to exude that kind of demeanor. Buuut obviously in a drunk or high state such normal inhibitions were out the window. Bet you had some rather hands on methods.

So I guess that’s what they mean when they say make love, not war. Oh wait no duh. I knew that. Ozaki moved in closer, though turned away from Jers before doing so so he could cough directly into the bowl by merely tipping it slightly towards him. The last thing he would want was to cough and infect someone else with these. Your bosses were douchebags. And you gotta strap ‘em down so they can’t get at you. The prisoners of course. Not your bosses. I’m sure that’s highly frowned upon in the military. Did I ever mention the time my boss turned me into a rabbit and chased me around the warehouse calling me Bunnicula?
